Pump recommendations

GX Pumps makes some great compressors from budget to high end! Here's a link to their website: https://gxpumpofficial.com/?ref=GXProducts

I have their CS4, which may be more than you need now, but if you fall down the PCP Rabbit Hole, it might be good to consider something that will grow with you! Also, if you purchse direct from GX Pumps, here is a discount code for 10% off any compressor you choose: GX10OFF

Good luck with your search.

Oklahoma Elementary air rifle rifle team wins Nationals in Missouri

It doesn't surprise me at all. I've read many articles over the years on how females tend to be better shooters, possibly due to more patience, better ability to concentrate on a task, and less perceived pressure on them to perform well, compared to guys.
It’s because teenage girls communicate better. If something is wrong or they aren’t sure about something, etc. they communicate their issues with the coach. Teenage boys are more independent and less likely to listen or ask for help. There are absolutely good male shooters. I am not saying girls are better than boys. There are just more girl shooters that are good compared to boys that are good. There are also more girls in the sport. This weekend at the Olympic Training Center in CO Springs is the Winter Airgun Championship (& also an Olympic qualifier match for 10M air rifle). There will be around 250 women shooting compared to around 150 males.

AMMO PRICES GOING UP

a few years ago Pyramid had a sale $$ and still the buy 3 /get1 deal so i bought 3 cases and got one "free" , that's 100,000 pellets , i have gone through 2 of those cases already . Grand kids will have to buy their own .
I bought 61 k rounds off pyramid air an then they bumped the price Im pissed off as I would spent another thousand to secure me 200k in total .22 pellets my blitz eats em.

Tuning  Hw90 pressure accessories

FWIW-From hw90 homework and experience with my .25 HW90 unit, I expect 20BAR is starting point for finding max power and accuracy with lowest standard deviation. I expect to find that before I get down to 18BAR. Then i'll work up best lowest power setting for indoor practice.
Using open sights with "open" peep front insert [to let in max light]. Will try full peep sight insert just for fun, after I find best pellet and power. going from 12 foot 1/4th inch bullseye, to 33foot 1/4 inch bull. Starting, with old [for springers not pcp's] Diana Magnum .25, 19.90grian, .249" heads sorted, .256 to .257" skirts. Diana's seem softer alloy then H&N FTT's 20.06 [minimum factory spec of 18fpe], and skirts generally mic bigger. Diana's consistantly chrony faster then H&N FTT, ~7 to 11fps.

PCP Rifle  NLA Epic two 22 caliber (lower price)

So any of you that know me knows the kind of shooting/hunting I do and as much as I like this gun it's just not for me. It is bigger that it looks in pics but does shoulder very well and if you shoot from a bench or tripod it is a Awesome platform.

Only had it 3 days ,comes with 3 mags and I will throw in one of my stubby Wylie mods. No scope or rings.

Update: made a titanium mod adapter also.

I paid 1928.00 plus 83.00 in customs fees asking 1800.00 and split shipping gun is still new condition.

Celebrated the 46th anniversary of my 21st birthday -

with a short hunt at the local WMA on Percy Priest Reservoir.

With the chorus of the 70's hit Afternoon Delight running through my mind and a silly grin I got in the woods right at 3 and took a very relaxed meandering stroll.

Decided to take the left fork in the trail leading into the WMA and found a nice spot near some hardwoods with den tree potential.

Within about 20 minutes or so I spot a suspicious gray blob that turned out to be a squirrel checking me out. I must have moved too fast raising my rifle, so he ran to the opposite side.

I decided to just chill, and if I spot him again great, if not I'll move along. My patience paid off, as I caught a flurry in my peripheral vision while scanning the trees, yep, squirrelzilla has

re-appeared at the exact spot, a knot leftover from a broken limb near the trunk. I was ready, and popped him good with a Predator 25 grainer.

Again, I apologise for the poor cell phone pics, maybe Santa Clause will grant my wish?

Huben  The GK1 is more accurate than I thought

Yes, a $3.5k 640 AGM Rattler mounted on a GK1 🤓

I’m sure that would be considered madness by the pistolero purists, but it is a tool that works very well for my ratting which takes place in an array of confined spaces. The viewing screen is useable up to 8 inches of eye relief and the FFP allows me to shoot from 5-100 yards. Metal objects show up as ice cold on thermal so you can plink silhouettes at nights for fun.

Holosun has some mini combination reflex NV/thermal sights coming out that I am keen to try:

What kind of accuracy do you get at 100 yards? 100 yards for an air pistol is pretty 'insane' or amazing!
