Skout  Epoch - what is the thread size for under stock 4 holes?

I have one imperial size thread gauges but it too big in size to get it into a 1/4" hole
It's for outside threads only
I'll have to get one of these "Nut and Bolt Thread Checker" gauges sets
Ya, I got one i found had it's shortcomings like that.. lesson learned for the next one replacing it ..lol. also if it don't fit it's probably the wrong guage . Like a 4n Guage blade will fit inside a 4m hole..ect kinda thing..

There's been times I took the part in the store and check the bolts at the bolt bin till I found the right one when in doubt..

Sometimes it don't hurt to have a assortment thing around handy

Aztec Emerald… G1 and Athlon Helos G1

I have 2 Aztec Emerald gen 2 scopes. All the write ups I read are about gen 1 scopes. AOA sells them but their literature is about the gen 1 scope. Gen 2 scopes have the large windage and elevation knob and a zero stop. They focus down to less than 10 yards and are very clear. At least mine are. Anybody else got the gen 2? Didn't mean to steal the post.
The G2 is so much better its crazy. Seems improved in most ways. The G1 I had for a while had the worst turrets I've experienced. I've had some sub $100 scopes with better turrets.

The reticle though was never for me.

has anyone else noticed this

Not specifically on that gun, but yes... have noticed the same on multiple guns. Long as it dont 'wear in' past the point of safety.
I know with springers there used to be a saying about a 'one tin tune', meaning shoot a full tin through it to wear it in proper and smooth it all out, burn off any excess oils, etc.

I know much of that wouldnt apply to the Avenger regarding burning off excess but the mating of sears could certainly apply.

Results  AAFTA 2023 Nationals final results

Congrats to the winners and all those attending. It looks from the scores to have been a really tight and fun match to compete in. I really wish I could have made it but I couldn't make the drive by myself and I couldn't get anyone willing or able to make the trip with me that could help with the driving and expenses. Maybe next year.

HW/Weihrauch  Beeman HW77 Long MK1

That's exactly what I do, too. Neither Diana nor HW springers come in an usable (to me) state. Twangy and not spring powered but firearms (which you notice not at 5.5 but at 16 fps.) Sometimes the piston seal is defective.
The result then is quite a new shooting cycle which has nothing do do with the delivery state. I wonder if Weihrauch know or care.
I’m sure they know, they probably build them like that on purpose for fast and easy assembly. Germans are strict on details so they know what’s going on.

HW/Weihrauch  Can you shoot a .22 out of a .177.

@JEFFPPC do you know anyone in the Altoona area who goes hunting w their airguns? Im semi new to it and have a couple springers and PCPs, but dont know anyone else around. Are there any local pages or groups/forums to look into? Thanks!
I don't know anyone hunting with them other than backyard squirrels. The 4th Sat of each month at 9am we have a 20 meter paper shiloutte match, 40 shots at Double Tap Indoor Range in Altoona. Come join us.This is off a bench, springers only 177 or .22. I actually quit advertising the shoots on here because due to multiple folks replying they would attend, no one off this forum ever showed up. All talk, no action. We have had as many as 13 shooters. There is a group of us that shoot there almost every day. The matches are 10.00 with half the money payed back. For 15.00 per month you can shoot 6 days a week all you want. Come join us this Saturday, we have some really good shooters.

N/A  How accurate can I get and how do I get there?

Just remember, less is more, use only the amount of air necessary to get the pellet out to where you want it. It really doesn't take much at 100 yards, except a heck of a lot of practice and watching that pesky heart beat. I started at 30 yards 24x scope and learned to time the beats. worked out to 50, then 100 and 125. JSB 18.13 work fine or 22gr. RMR/FX slugs. 100 yards one shot. FX Maverick Compact, barrel's cleaned up
