Accessories  SOLD WTS EDgun Leshiy 2 Picatinny/Mlok Aluminum Handguard + Custom FX Impact Shroud w Eaglevision 1/2" UNF adapter

EDgun Leshiy 2 aluminum handguard with picatinny rails ontop and bottom and mlok mount holes on the side works best with 350mm barrel setups. Also selling with it is a custom shortened shroud from an FX Impact that has an Eaglevision 1/2" UNF adapter attached.

The shroud fits inside the handguard and attaches to your 350mm barrel setup and allows you to attach a 1/2" UNF moderator INSIDE the handguard
(only the Edgun and Huma mod30 fit inside with this setup) but if you have a 450mm barrel, it will allow others

All items are like new, no scratches or blemishes except on the top of the eaglevision adapter mounting point but this will be covered once a moderator is attached, and even more once they are placed inside the handguard. This comes with the mounting plate and required screws.

Edgun West sells the handguard for $225 alone
Eaglevision adapter for Leshiy 2 VCB-2 is $30 and I figure an FX Impact shroud would be around $60

Retail this would cost near $320 plus the work of shortening the shroud, I will sell the handguard and shroud together for $250
The handguard alone for $185 and the shroud alone for $80

Prices ARE negotiable, just PM me.
My other listing of a Huma Mod30 would go great with both of these, and fit inside the handguard perfectly.

Here are a few pictures of the setup:

SOLD WTS Huma Mod30 Long 1/2" UNF .30cal with extra startpiece + extra baffle section (6 total)

Huma Mod30 Long 1/2" UNF with 6 sections total. It also has a 2nd start piece that is swap able, and 5 extra sections. Normally this long version comes with 4 sections, this has one extra, making it 6 in total. This is rated for .30cal but works great on any caliber lower. I used it for .22/.25 with my Leshiy 2 and it is the only moderator type that can fit inside the picatinny rail aluminum handguard. It was attached to a custom shortened FX Impact shroud that has an eaglevision 1/2" UNF adapter attached, making the shroud and mod30 fit inside the handguard.

This is like new condition with 0 blemishes, dings, scratches. It comes in the original Huma-air tube. Can be setup to be very long or very short and works great.

The long mod30 costs $160 retail
The extra section costs $30 retail
The extra startpiece costs $40 retail

Looking for $160 + shipping total for the Mod30 setup.

Can anyone answer my question

Without knowing your intended use, I'm going to assume casual plinking.

The adult sized Red Ryder might meet your requirements. I bought one and mounted an RWS compact 4X up top. It averages around 330fps and is accurate enough for plinking soda cans at 30 yards. Well under budget at $60 for the rifle and holds something like 350 rounds.

If you can find one, a Baikal IZH-61 is another affordable repeater. Sidelever .177 pellet with a 5 shot magazine, velocity is around 475fps. They were around $100 when available. The synthetic stock looks awkward, but it's actually quite comfortable.

Another choice would be the Diana Oktoberfest BB repeater. It's a bolt action springer with a 120 rd tube magazine. Velocity averages around 430fps with Hornady Black Diamond BB's. At $170 it's the priciest of the three. A really fun shooter. Nice fit and finish.

I own all three, and the velocity numbers are from my chronograph, not factory claims.

Hugget Astille clipping

I always point my finger at shoddy workmanship on the gun when there is clipping. But in your case, you tried it on three guns. So I am also shocked that a Hugget would have this issue. Hugget probably hasn’t responded because they and other mod makers get tons of emails about clipping. They know their product is true and it’s the customers sad guns fault. I hope you get it figured out.

HW/Weihrauch  Weihrauch Stock In Canada?

I’m in BC, I just bought a new HW30s .177 from Great North Guns Co. Website Out of Quebec. They have a good rating and amazing pricing. I paid $400 CAD incl taxes and shipping and came within a week. They don’t have a big selection but they had the gun I wanted.
Ive been able to find hw 30 and 50 in .177 in a few places. Hw97. Hw77. Hw80. Hw95. Are all tougher. Even more so in a 20 cal

Air Venturi  Apparently this is the best overall tune to achieve the best accuracy with our .25 cal Air Venturi Avengers airguns

What program is calculating the fpe of those chronograph results? Whatever it is I would stop using it. The math is wrong. 837 fps on 26.6 grain pellets is over 41 fpe, not 28 fpe. I used the Pyramid calculator just now but it's results agree with my spreadsheet were I entered the formulas myself. Something is messed up.
I am using the FX pocket chronograph, maybe I forgot to change the weight of the pellets I was using durring the test.

Air Arms  Part Not There Or Missing?

Well guys, I worked around a day and a half on this thing and finally put it together three times before it was right. It wouldn't hold air so I found a small rubber pump type thing and cut off the small end and used it to fashion a seal between the barrel and air tube and danged it if doesn't hold air now.
This thing was filthy, oil or grease all over the stock, rusty barrel. I took the stock and scrubbed it with a Scotchbrite and dish soap and it turned out pretty good for being neglected so long and steel wool to the barrel. There wasn't'a whole lot of improvement on the metal other than a lot of rust and gunk was removed. But overall, I'm please because I did reseal the thing and it works. Thanks!

FX Superior Heavy .22 liner is different than the other cals

Hi,

Have you noticed that FX Superior Heavy .22 liner doesn't have the rifling in the choke? The grooves seem to match the lands. Other calibers are not like that.

Thanks!
Mine appears to have rifling in the choke. And I ran a plastic O ring pick around the inside and I can 'feel' the lands and grooves. STX Superior Heavy .22 Art no: 20206.

RAW Rapid  Help getting accuracy out of a .22cal RAW HM1000x

Hey Green,
Simple Test:
(Maybe already done), but on the same gun .... take a .177 or .25 pellet probe and .177 or .25 barrel to see if it shoots good groups at 50 yards.

If yes:), send the barrel back to Martin for another or your money back!
If you get the same results or close to it :(-> something else is wrong ........................

Guaranteed Martin/Sandra @ Airguns USA don't want their good names dragged through the mud and will do whatever you want ....
I don't know why they wouldn't:unsure:.

PCP Rifle  SOLD AEA Challenger Pro .22 in excellent condition - $450 shipped

AEA Challenger Pro .22 in excellent condition.

It was purchased less than a month ago here on the classifieds.

It comes with:
-1 magazine
-fill probe
-o'rings
-3D printed LDC (about 7 inch long)
-3 slip-on 3D printed barrel bands

I am only selling this because is too loud for my backyard, even with the moderator.

It is also extremely powerful, way too much for backyard shooting.
I managed to break the sound barrier several times with 21 grain slugs and pellets, and that was not on full power.

Optics  SOLD Element Optics Helix 4-16x44 FFP

I have an excellent condition Element Helix scope for sale. This scope is super nice. My only complaint is that my old eyes can’t take advantage of the amazing reticle that comes with this scope. I loose the ultra fine center dot easily. I find that thicker crosshairs just work better for me so the Element is going to someone at a great price. Everything that came in the box is present.

$260 and you pay for the shipping. I take PPFF unless you are willing to cover the fee on goods and services. Let me know if you have any questions.

FX  H&N Barracuda Hunters (not Extremes) with my FX Bobcat .22

Gerry!
If you like them in .22, you'll love them in .25.
27.47gr. are the hot set up, at least in my guns (previous Streamline and Wildcat II), and not bad in my M2 either. They are accurate and VERY hard hitting.
Mike
Thx Mike. .25 Hades are the go-to pellet for my Royale so I'm already using a hunting pellet but I think I'll try the Hunters in it also. Can never have enough accurate hunting pellet options in my opinion.

Seneca/Sam Yang  Wingshot II shooting air bolts

Thank you. So this is a .50 cal. I was shooting 100 gr field tips just as the air bolts come out of the box with just a dab of silicon grease on the o-rings. AT low power I got 5 good shots but could have gotten a 6th but only had 5 bulls to shoot at so did not bother. On high power I got 3 good shots but with the power still on the gauge I believe I could have gotten 1 more if I had tried. So I feel like 6 on low power and 4 on high power would be fair.
Air Venturi Air Bolt, 6 pack

  • 0.50" Caliber bolt
  • Velocity up to 500 fps (when used in Seneca Dragon Claw)
  • Power up to 238 FPE (when used in Seneca Dragon Claw)
  • 430 grains including 100 grain field tip
  • Overall length 23"
  • 300 Spine
  • Constructed from 100% Hi-Modulus Carbon Fiber
  • 6 Air Bolts per package
As I said I am sure I read an article that claimed the wingshot got a bit more power than the dragon claw because some air gets by in the rifling on the dragon claw but these are both very capable, powerful and accurate airguns with these air bolts. The wingshot is also a bit lighter. I am not a fan of heavy guns,

Ballistic apps - something missing

Any time I've had a problem with close shots being what the app says but not the far shots it was scope height was wrong. The best way I have found is not to measure from scope to barrel but say you are sighted in at 40yrds then measure exactly 10yrds from the end of the barrel see where you are hitting at 10 and ajust your scope height in your app to match
For field target purposes, I would suggest measuring to the scope bell. In FT, the barrel has to extend over the firing line and the trigger should be behind the firing line. If you calculate scope height based on measuring to the muzzle but then you extend the muzzle a foot or two towards the target, your dope will be off on the close shots. When I set up dope and yardage marks on a scope, I use the scope bell as my reference because it's easily repeated and it won't change the yardage marks if I move the scope to a different gun.
