It is so much easier with powder burners….

Nop.

In the Sidewinder Is not so easy to remove the moderator.

But as soon as I arrive to my home I will check if I can do it.

Those pellets were JSB Hades. They cut the paper in a different way than normal pellets and of slugs do.
Not in my Mavericks they don't. Too much air, i.e. too long of a duration will do that.

Used SCBA Tanks - What Should I Consider Before Purchase? Tank Volume, Hydrotesting, Date of Manufacture, Expiration Dates, & More (VIDEO)

Knowing what little bit I have read on these sites about hyro testing. If hauling a tank that is not certified and you get stop by the law and they happen tocheck the tank. Can you be given a ticket, just asking
An additional question would be regarding one's liability and comprehensive insurance in the event that a failed tank caused an accident/motorvehicle accident. Explosion/immediate burst is less of a concern, IMO, than a rapid depressurization, especially inside a passenger compartment.

How do you store your FT targets

Jeff,
I dont get up here a lot but when I do I like to share useless information with you....and Scott. He loves it.

Seriously, I had wondered how we might organize better, but I think it will be hard unless we had more space.

When we were down at Yegya? I know I spelled it wrong...we had a storage container, a shipping container that locked, with shelves on either side. All the targets faced inward and were placed side by side.
It made grabbing the correct targets for match set up very fast and easy. Being visible was the key.
Ask old man Ron, he will tell you...but it will take him 2 hours to do so.
If we had more space, I would gladly help make some shelving. Heck, even something on wheels to move about the shed might work.
Cheers!!!
Pablo

Benjamin  Question about pumpers and springers

Thank you for your kind correction.

From the red lidded tin; 10 pellets weighed on a calibrated and known accurate, scale weigh 164.3gr (that would be 16.4gr each) and from the yellow plastic box (500 for $2.97) weigh 150.6gr (that would be 15.1gr ea).

yeah, I guess that would be "a little over 13gr"

N/A  What Sight System Do You Use On Your Pistol Most Often When Shooting Benchrest?

I dont do bench rest with my pistols unless sighting in,, My eyes have got to bad for open iron sights , The red dots have opened up all kinds of new pistol shooting for me. Its kind of like I see the light now... My PP 750 has a high power laser on it , Pretty cool at 10 to 20 feet, It will shine up to 30 yards in bright day light but I don't shoot it that far.
Now the Huben pistol 22 caliber with red dot easy coke can at 30 yards, Like I never miss.
See a lot of scopes on pistols but just don't know, But I am not going to say never..

Building squirrel feeder to hunt!

So my little 7yr wanted to hammer on something so I quickly tasked her with the opportunity to help dad out with a squirrel feeder for me to hunt off of. So we found a position in a brush pile where our neighbor put cedar branches at and then cut shooting lanes through the woods to have clear shots off the feeder. I have to say this little 1 did a fine job of building a redneck feeder and shooting position for us. Below is a picture of last year haul from the setup she made at another property. Will have picture soon of current setup. So my question to you fellow members are do you blind hunt over feeder or feed and would this be the approach you would start young hunters off to? No right or wrong answer. Just need collect wisdom on how to teach 5 little girls how to hunt! Also there is a picture of the survival shelter/ shooting blind we made.

SOLD [SOLD] Huma Air Mod 40-5/0 (5 Sections) Long Modular Moderator / LDC 0.30 Caliber w/ 1/2UNFx20 Threads

Hello AGN:

I have two Huma Air modular moderators / LDC's that I no longer use and am looking to sell:
  • Huma Air Modular Mod40-5/0 (5 sections total) Long 0.30 Caliber Moderator w/ Female 1/2UNFx20 Threads. This Mod40 also comes with 1 starter, 1 end piece and 3x 40mm extra chambers; it is just over 9" long when all five sections are used. The 0.30 caliber end piece would, of course, work with any smaller caliber like 0.25 or 0.22 as well. Each of the front sections is 1 5/8" long and you can remove sections as needed. The four front sections of this moderator have been carefully wrapped in automotive grade carbon fiber vinyl wrap and looks great. This wrap can be easily removed (without leaving any residue behind) if you don't want it: $135 shipped
I've got plenty of references here so please feel free to check them on the Member Feedback forum prior to purchasing. Paypal Friends & Family payment is prefered (otherwise, please add 3.5% to cover the fees). Local pickup in the SF Bay Area is available as well.

Thanks!

Let’s see some custom moderators

0.3mm (0.012") over bore? That's pretty tight! No issues with clipping?
Reprinted the baffles at 8.2mm for the first 5 and 8.3mm for the exit baffle. Shot it 5 times today with no clipping. I also put the end cap in the lathe and cleaned up the inside corner to be sure the exit baffle was sitting perfectly square. Sounds like a 60p nail gun, relatively quiet but a lot of air moving.
