Defective Pellets?

If you can remember, can you take photos of this and post them?

Hubens K1s don’t have pellet probes. If the pellets are falling out of the mag the only way I can think of the mag damaging the pellet is if they’re sliding within the mag and hanging up on or around the breech as the fixed magazine advances. This is definitely possible. @Keyman62421 has your Huben jammed shooting the JSB King Heavy MkIIs?
First paragraph was in reference to the Maverick.

3 1/2 hours on the range

I actually stopped flying my mini 2 when the faa pushed the trust bs and their overreach. I'm still irritated by it.

I reluctantly had to get my 107 to protect the non profit I help with and other certificates I have.

I've barely scratched the surface of their capabilities but it is pretty amazing.

AEA  FPE vs Caliber

What is more important, FPE or larger caliber? I have a 30 caliber putting out 40 FPE. Also have a .25 caliber doing 49 FPE. Larger caliber creates wider wound channel but smaller caliber travels much faster and hits harder. I'm thinking the .25 would be better over all but I could be wrong.
My own experience has been the opposite of the smaller caliber hitting harder. I've got a .30 Hatsan 135 that puts out 30 fpe and an Air Arms S410E in .22 that puts out 32 fpe. So very similar power levels with the edge going to the Air Arms, but when shot side by side at various targets the Hatsan obviously hits harder. Whether it's hanging targets or cans filled with water that big slow .30 just seems to always hit noticeably harder.

So far as impact on game goes I don't know as I haven't ever hunted with the Hatsan, but my experience is that shot placement is 90% of stopping power. Which is also the reason I don't hunt with the Hatsan.

Results  2023 October 22 Rockville Fish & Game FT CT State Match - Vernon, CT

Did Leo mention it was windy?!! Damn. Good practice for shooting in the wind. It did switch, but usually one had enough time on the clock to wait for it to come back to its predominate direction, which was R to L.

I wish I had taken video of the gusts. Leaves moving horizontaly from one side if the range to the other make for fun shooting.

Events  PSA Benchrest in the Dark

Those of us shooting benchrest at Palmyra Sportsmens Association are considering holding 3 night-time airgun benchrest shoots in 2024.

Members are free, non members are $5.

We can illuminate targets at 25 and 100 yards.

This is a social shoot so if you have a preferred target, bring it, or you will have to shoot one of our club manager's targets with insanely small bulls that he uses with his rail-gun.

You would be competing against yourself and the wind.

We have a gas grill so shooters can bring hotdogs, burgers, and steaks and cook them up fresh for dinner. You will also have to bring your own drinks.

The possible evenings will be Friday or Saturday nights. The dates will be determined by competitions already scheduled on the range and when the most benchrest shooters can attend.

If interested please reply to this thread.

Sounds like a good time to me! Thinking about it, I might prefer Saturday night, although Friday wouldn’t be out of the question. It’s just, you know, some of use have this thing called work. If you know what I mean? Also, if you have any questions about Bench Rest just let know, because I’m officially in the game now in case you haven’t heard.😁

Hatsan blitz mini

I have a Hatsan blitz 30 and I want to shorten the barrel myself I heard someone say you have to replace the suppressor but it showed in the picture a suppressor on the end of the barrel mine does not have a suppressor just a cap with a spring inside which I guess would be the suppressor but how would I know how short I can cut the barrel.?

Wood Workers For GK1

TY-
#1 great choices
#2 I just don't like the looks of that gun at all
#3 I got two

I agree that bullpup is more of hopium than reality- But a nice carbine stock like the ones out for the P-rod IMO would be ideal for the GK1, hence why I got one to keep as a gun, and one to change up.

Other  Which is the best gun?

Yes,I will try that for sure, thanx for the advice
"ON LINE : their seem to be no laws pertaining to air guns . Maybe you can have a shop that has air guns order the one you like for you ?"
i looked on line for air gun laws in your country , this does not mean there isn't any , just not on line . You should check your self.
the "ask a store " idea is the fact the store already goes through customs so you do not have to . Good luck .

coon hunting season ?

Many years ago when I was growing up we used to gather at our grandparents house for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sometimes we got there a day early or stayed a day late. My uncle Heavy (everybody including his wife called him Heavy and he wasn't the biggest of my uncles) had a gutter business in Detroit. Not much going on outside in Detroit in winter so he stayed at Grandmas for weeks to a couple months and would be there when we got there. If we were lucky, we kids would get to go coon hunting with him at night. We carried flashlights, he carried an inexpensive 22 rimfire. We'd go to a likely area and turn his dogs loose and then listen for them to bark "treeed". Then we'd race through the woods to try and get to the tree before the coon jumped out. Lots of times it was a possum. But sometimes it was a coon. Heavy said he did it to make money off the pelts to pay for the feed for his dogs but I think he just hunted coons because it was fun. That's the reason we wanted to go along. The moms were never fans because we'd come home with dirty clothes and occasionally a scrape or bruise. Just part of the fun.

HW 85 Cal. 6.35 How common is it?

Can you explain the mod(s) that elevated this springer to a 50fpe capability?
I can't because I didn't do the job myself. It was beyond my knowledge and understanding. The guy who did it, a Slovene gunsmith and airgun aficionado, told me installed a custom made spring, a modified piston and also modified the cocking mechanism. He told me not to try to disassemble the gun myself since I will not be able to reassemble it without help and special tools due to the piston design and the spring tension (If I have to get it serviced, I go to his workshop). He told me he based the mods on the GAMO Magnum GR 25, if this can help you. To be honest, I removed the stock but the only thing that really stands out is the beefed up cocking lever (The stock was also modified to accommodate it).
