PCP Rifle  SOLD SPF (added better pics) Airforce Talon w/ Leshiy 2 rear + STO Sarissa + 2 extra barrels SPF

This is a weird one, I essentially created a Panthera out of Leshiy 2 parts and an Airforce Talon a couple years before the Panthera was a thing.
So this is essentially an externally regulated Talon, that is easier to shoot with a lower cheek weld. AKA redneck Panthera :)

12" .22 barrel installed
+18# .22 barrel
+ 12# .177 barrel
REPR Regulator + Leshiy 2 butt stock
replaced the handle with a picatinny rail to add bipod or grip, sling ready
STO Sarissa ths

$700 shipped - I'm enjoying the break barrel life these days.

When selling a used airgun ...

As a boat owner I can tell you that a boat is most definitely not an investment! I believe it's classified as a money pit.....lol
But I wouldn't trade my days on the boat with friends and family for anything in the world.
Agreed I’ve owned boats my whole life and enjoyed every moment

Clip on thermals/infrared

There is also the more expensive ones, that clip on the ocular, rather then the objective - Pulsar e.G.. Quite a lot better then the Pard but also quite a lot more expensive.
Considering that the OP mentioned a "cheaper alternative," I doubt (s)he's interested in exploring options on the opposite end of the price spectrum. Quite naturally thermal will cost more than night vision. Each serves a uniquely different purpose so knowing the intended use is important in recommending either.

FX Impact compact, Best compact hunting gun out there???

If you are really set on slugs I would go with a 600 mm over 500 barrel. It isn’t that much more cumbersome. You can always still run a 300 cc bottle. You are likely to be plagued with a few slow velocity shots out of the gate. Unfortunately is what it is. You can give a few dry fires before heading into the field. I also give it a few extra clicks on the macro wheel when it has sat and that helps a lot.

Prairie dog skull

I've been going on prairie dog hunts every year for quite awhile. I've shot from .30's to .22's with great success. Anyone who has done this knows a lot of the times all you have is a head shot as the critters like to poke their heads out just above the berm of the mound and alert others. While those are very satisfying shots particularly when you can do it out past 50 yards, if I get a choice of aim points I aim for the neck.
I've got video of one that took one the the head with an eye hanging out and it still manages to run around trying to find a burrow. Now, not all turn out this way but I've never had any run off with a throat shot.

N/A  NOT...a Huben, and, sight placement

Please explain "fine motor control" and "large motor control".

My arms, wrist only come in one size !
Although back many years, when I was doing heavy workouts regularly, my "size" was different than it is now !

Mike
I'm probably not explaining it correctly with the proper 'terms' if I'm being honest. But mid mounted equals a larger change on a small movement vs a rear mount, leverage if you want to look at it that way.

I'd rather count on using large muscle groups to control shot alignment vs say, adjusting with my wrist which a mid mounted sight tends to promote in my opinion. With a rear mount sight it tends to put the sight more on top of the 'pivot' (more centered on my hand, closer to my wrist), which will make a tendency for me to aim with my arm vs my wrist (sight in front of hand).

I'm terrible at explaining it, so apologies there.

FX  Dynamic Double Express

No, but both bottles when you want to remove from the gun you need to turn each bottle at the same time.
Morning Bro!!! Forgot to mention something... when I got my rifle this guy told me that when not using the rifle for a long time and I had a lot of air in the bottles unscrewing the rear one to bleed some pressure was the way to do it for that matter. I did that one day. Was that the real way to do it? Or I had to unscrew both at the same time for that matter too? Been noticing that I don't get that many shots as I should with both bottles... maybe cos I did that one time? Would love to know more about it.. Super appreciate it! Have a good one there!!!

Element prismatic or LPVO for squirrel hunting?

If you like to stay a 8-10x zoom then stick with regular MPVO or medium power scope like 3-12 or 4-14. Prism scopes can have shallow depth of field which isn’t good for hunting. LPVO is really meant for lower magnification with super wide field of view. My backyard and hunting gun have 1-6x LPVO with the zoom set at 3-4 for 20-30 yard shots, the reason is super wide view and deep depth of field for fast target acquisition and shots. I basically point and shoot, hardly ever touch scope settings.
