That's great, they're fortunate to have you to help them, good luck on your search and purchases!

Western Airguns  Western sidewinder 22cal best light weight ammo

I wanted to check all my options with ammo that I have, and increase shot count plus reduce noise. The noise of the action loud however the sto falx moderator works well for the blast ,and it’s as quiet as it can get. I did notice shooting a row of targets adjusting the power wheel that one turn more or less did make a noticeable difference in the groups @50&75yrds . I did not believe that the gun could shoot the 18gr so good, because I have not seen any others talk about it. I can always turn the power wheel up and shoot the 25gr if I choose but for now the 18gr are extremely accurate and I get almost 100 shots with a 250bar fill.

FX  Crown mk2 attempting to shooting nsa 43.5gr xD

This is the result of 43.5gr nsa at 50m with my crown mk2 at 150bar. (I have more internal spring to adjust for more speeds)
Fps = 865, if I push more bar and spring i think I can Come 890-900, but right now my shot count with stock bottle from 250 down to 150 is 18 shots.
Im waiting on zan 37gr to arrive too. I hope to push 950fps with those and maybe better groups, if not ill settle with 33 or 35gr zan to have the possibility to adjust up to 990 isj at slightly lower preassure.

Tuning  Tuning a Balanced Valve — for quieter shots

What about JSAR lately? Always liked their gun
I haven’t been in communication with them since I bought one of their adjustable Raptor regs for my RTI. That was years ago. Then and before that when I spoke to them on the phone, they were cool. I have no clue what’s going on there now.

Air Venturi  air-venturi-avenger regulator (new) Can it be lubed.

Short answer- I ordered (2) Caption O'ring kits.

Part # change?? A while ago I downloaded a schematic (I think from Air Venturi, see attached), smaller o'ring: 000p2-072-x-00, larger o'ring: 000p2-073-x-00. I think pyramid has different part #s, and updated part list. Before there were no 0'rings for the regulators, now there are.

My goal was to fix a loss of power. If you read the post dated Dec 28 2023 on this thread, I don't now if replacing the reg o'rings will have an effect. On (1) .22 replacing the small o'ring on the reg fixed the creep issue. As a retired engineer I'm trying different things. But I can't get the cap off the reg! I also use a small butane torch. It was hot enough to pop off the delrin seal, even though the torch was directed at the cap, not the shaft holding the delrin. The cap won't budge. Do you try the cap immediately after heating or wait, I've tried both. Even tried putting the reg in the freezer hoping thermal contraction might help, it didn't LOL. Must be super glue, you'd think the don't want you to remove the cap.

I would try the Avenge-X stainless, if anyone has taken the reg apart and it's easier, please chime in.

FX barrel adapter for a Ghost

Been trying to find a similar solution, except I want a shorter light pellet barrel for a Delta Wolf. Member “Geojorjika“ was selling an FX adapter a couple years ago for the Delta Wolf (believe it’s the same as Ghost), I messaged him but have not heard back. Also have been running through names for a machinist to work on a blank, but no luck yet.
I have a teammate that bought one of these adapters a while back. It’s working so far, I’ll test a 1.16 slug liner.25 out of my ghost probably 3rd week of April. Will be testing some 37 and 41 gr zans and 49gr altaros.

FX  Fx crown 177 pellet

Well my favorite is the 13.43 gr pellets, but my Maverick now with a working barrel also shoot 10.34 gr and the even heavier beasts if you want smack power but not shoot more than 50 M / yards.
I haven't tested very many H&N pellets in the rifle CUZ my tin stacks with JSB and others are much taller and i dont feel like expanding collection too much if i can help it.

Looking at buying my first PCP

Welcome to the forum ratt. Here is what I started with 5 or 6 years ago. Near identical goals. I bought a Hatsan refurb 22cal Falshpup and a yong. I had to do some minor tweaking to the flash but some of that might have been to 'roookie knows how it should be issues". I had to replace the yong after a season or two but again I made "procedural mistakes". The flashpup has never failed, accurate as hell and is deadly out to 50 yds.Easy to transport and carry. The last yong I bought thru walmart with guarantee. Still running. If you get a yong make sure you have good water flow "check it every time you plug in the pump, especially in cold weather. Use "DISTILLED WATER". Use Blue Ice,5gal bucket with lid
