Well I went to the doc today

Sorry to hear about your ribs. I slipped on ice a couple winters ago and broke 3 ribs. Not much can be done, just take it easy, do what you can to avoid getting any respiratory bug, and don't watch any comedies. Coughing, sneezing, laughing, and breathing deeply are going to really hurt for awhile. The pain subsided for me a bit after about a month. After 6 weeks I was feeling much better, and after two months I was good to go.

Doe kill with a Benjamin Bulldog .457

Thanks, its a AGM Rattler TS19-256. Just upgraded from a ATN 3-14x 4k Scope. Love the thermal, never going back! Setting up right now to call some yotes!
It's really hard to go back after shooting with thermal! I have the ATH THOR 4 640 2.5-25x, and my only complaint with thermal is the lack of good depth perception, which has done me in a few times when raccoon hunting with a wide variety of brush.

Kalkal insulated hunting boots sent over for review (video inside)

Past your primary gear (gun, scope, ammo, etc) it is similarly important to think about your secondary gear - which is your clothing!
The folks at Kalkal sent over a pair of their hunting boots to check out. I was a little skeptical at first since I had not heard of this company, but the boots are pretty sick and I'm wearing them more than my Bogs lately. They are way more comfortable, especially for driving in. These cats make a whole lineup of different budget friendly boots. I'm glad I was turned on to them so I thought I'd share my little review here with you guys. In the video description there is a 5% off link for you guys.

Snowpeak  Artemis PP700SA pellets accuracy tests at 10 yards

As others have said, the PP700SA is not pellet sensitive at all. I have been shooting mine for several years now with a Chinese reflex sight using JSB domed .22 Cal 15.8 gr pellets and hold a 1" group at 25 meters and I have hit pigeons at 100 meters using Kentucky windage and about a 40 inch holdover. The last time I checked the speed was about 600 FPS.
Hi Can you tell me how to lubricate and clean Artemis pp700sa?

Accessories  SOLD FX Impact Shroud with 3D printed shroud end cap.

Hello,

This shroud works amazing if you have a barrel tensioner kit installed. Basically you will slide right over carbon barrel tensioner (see pic) and screw it on. It will put your impact in original form with the barrel tensioner kit hidden. The benefit is that it will dramatically reduce the muzzle report like in the original form before barrel tensioner kit. If you have a tensioner kit installed without a shroud it is super loud and this is because there is no way for air to escape other than the very front of the barrel, hence, the very loud noise.

This shroud will fit over .30 cal and below since it came out of a .30 cal impact. Will fit MK2 and M3 Impacts.

Asking $60 shipped to your door. PayPal preferred. CONUS only. Tracking will be provided ASAP.

Thanks for looking!

Rob

Moderator, suppressor rules.

I think DesertSilver has a good suggestion. If you have a 22lr suppressor which might be adapted it would be worth at least a try to see how well it works to quiet an airgun. It avoids giving the impression you have a device which needs a tax stamp and doesn't have one.

It is completely factual that the NFA only applies to powder burners, not airguns. But what has made this a grey area is the 3 letter agency has a published opinion that a device which would muffle the sound from a powder burner for even one shot is under their jurisdiction. Their opinion is not the same as a law but if they enforced it as they seem to have at least tried on DonnyFL (speculation) but fighting it could be expensive. The position is stupid, a potato meets their one shot requirement, but that doesn't mean it would be cheap to prove how stupid it is or that their position is inconsisten with the law.

There is a reviewer of airguns for hard air that is worried enough he will not use a detachable moderator. Some are not detachable, like the Notos, and they would seem to be safer (safer in the sense of the three letter agency thinking they are an issue). I use printed moderators in the shroud of my P35s for several reasons including this "issue". Printed moderators are inexpensive, that is my main reason, and putting them in the shroud protects them from damage. It seems like there would be no easy way to mount them on a PB. Because they are plastic I don't think they could withstand the pressure and temperature of a PB but I'll never use one on a PB to find out. There are also detachable printed moderators which would seem to have the same "fragility" defense.

I don't want to wish anything bad to happen to DonnyFL but I was kind of hoping their difficulty might clear up the instability introduced by the three letter agency position. Apparently that is not something either party wanted in that case. Did the three letter agency think they would loose? DonnyFL is still selling their moderators.

It will be interesting to see how the TX PB moderator case turns out. If TX wins, the three letter agency may not be able to regulate even PB moderators which stay in the state they were made.
