AEA  AEA HP SS rod/plunger part

I have three. Terminator in 30, HP carbine in 25 and an SS in 22. All semi auto and all run. Have 8k rounds through the carbine prior to the bolt/rod breaking. Don't believe all you here about AEA. They for the money sell a very good semi auto. Your gun was either defective or the rod was loose from shooting is why it stripped. Those parts are very hard steel. Very hard.

I put a 300 cc CF bottle on mine. What an improvement.

Good Ole China

My Scott airtank was made in the USA. Doesn't prove it is superior to SCBA tanks made in China but I would rather use an expired Scott than a new tank made in China. I use a Chinese compressor and 4 of my 5 PCPs were made in China but my fill set and SCBA tank were not. I tried a Chinese fill set and it was junk - leaked terribly. A lot of things made in China are fine and very good buys. But I am convinced their fill sets are not fine and I am not confident in their SCBA tanks. I have no hard data. But I do think that tanks that go with fire fighters into burning buildings have to be built well.

I spend zero time worrying about SCBA tanks exploding regardless of where they are made. I know there are youtubes out there with exploded tanks but you have to dig to find out they intentionally damaged the tanks and then grossly over filled it. It is not valid data for determining what tank to buy. I am confident that the far more likely failure mode is a leak that would be difficult to find but would result in the loss of tank pressure fairly quickly. So you would know. The best experience data I know of is in a report done for the Navy. Out of tens of thousands of tanks no explosions, only slow leaks and those were in the threads apparently damaged during a hydro test.

@rangur1 I asked a similar question around the time it began.

You caught me napping! 😂

What made ya do it?

Ok. I’ve been shooting my Texan 308 a lot more and it’s an air hog that’s causing me to overwork my little comp.
This is a timely thread for me because my 12v portable needs rebuilding and I’m not inclined to do it.

Is it possible to get a low cost ($700-1200) reliable 120 volt 4500 psi with a small foot print and a weight that one man can move around simply?

What are the top three suggestions?
My nose bleed limit is about $1500
I‘m filling a Great White 97 cu ft tank.

Also, who sells them either new or used and can be trusted?

Can't seem to be able to post/attach photo ("image file type is invalid").

Did you just revert to original in your iPhone Photos app or did you export image to jpg on your Mac. If reverted on iPhone it may have retained heif format instead of jpg.

Alternatively did you try uploading directly from iPhone?
I tried most everything you mentioned, I think, except for uploading directly from my iPhone (not sure how to do that). However, I just figured out the problem, I went into my iPhone's camera settings (under "Settings") and opened up "Formats" and changed the default setting of "High Efficiency" to "Most Compatible". I then re-snapped the photo using the "Most Compatible" setting and successfully posted the image. It seems that the "High Efficiency" setting was the culprit. My digital camera photo was also successful. Phew, what a learning experience.

JTS  Airacuda Max .25

Yes all good things here. I’m going to have to experiment more. Worried man I have the same problem at times now that you say that my first few shots are not on target as well. I will now be more aware of my regulator , another frustrating aspect of this. Let me see if I have any more clipping without moderator on it and I will get back to you guys.
Before JTS brought the Airacuda Max to market they provided samples to air gun reviewers. Early reviewers noted maximum fill pressure of 3500 psi, which provided approximately 30 shots. As you know, our guns came restricted to 3200 psi fill, for around 20 shots. JTS had experienced "O" ring problems during early testing, prior to production, and better-quality ones were substituted. I suspected lower maximum fill rate was related to this, now I think it may have been to address regulator creep. I'll be trying different fill rates to see how they affect regulator creep. Interesting that new Airacuda Max .30 comes with max fill rate of 3500 psi, wonder what changes, if any, were made to allow higher fill rate. WM

Projectiles  NLA WTT .22 Heavier pellets for .22 lighter pellets

Deal has been made

I have 2 tins of 500 JSB Jumbo Heavy Diabolo 18.12 ( one tin might have 15-20 pellets missing other tin still has tape on it.)
3 tins of Air Arms 18gr Diabolo Field Heavy (all new never opened)
2 tins of JSB 25.39gr Jumbo Monster Diabolo (one tin has maybe 1/3 missing)
Im guessing these would be worth 75.00 or so.

I would like to trade them for .22 15.89 or lighter. Let me know what you have.

You can text me at 405-664-4695 if you would like or PM me. I have lots of transactions on the forum.

Elevation Adjustment

most airguns need a close-in zero to be ideal, and with a fairly high-mounted scope that will 'always' take a large adjustment on the elevation ... standard procedure for me with 'every' airgun i own is to shim the rear mount ..i dont even have to check your gun to know it needs it lol, it does .. cut a piece of credit card maybe 3/8" wide and place it in the bottom of the ring under the scope ... only issue is on some rings the screws may not be long enough to fully engage the threads ... if you need longer screws get them, dont risk stripping them .. theyre usually a 3 or 4mm standard pitch thread, caphead .. easy to get on ebay etc .. buy long and whack them off with a dremel to perfect length ..
