Major Leak After Regulator Adjustment on FX Impact M3 (.22)

It occurred to me this morning that there's a tool that really made the process of finding leaks easier. Crc aerosol leak detector. You can use or make other solutions to this, but having a rattle can of non reactive stuff is handy.
CRC leak detector works amazing, it found a very slow leak on my Maverick. Buck Newman owner of Cape Fear Airguns recommended it as he was the head FX US tech.

Air Arms  Brass trigger guard for Pro Sport in the US?

I was at an airgun show/yardsale/competition in Hemit, CA just a few weeks ago and purchased two beautifully crafted brass trigger guards, one for my TX200, and another for my HW97K. Their cost was a mere $20 apiece. I don't know where you are located, but I can't believe that there aren't any reasonable craftsmen in many places here in the States. I've been intending to contact Chambers, in England, in the hopes of finding nicely crafted cocking arms for my TX200 & HW97K. I do like my bling. Orv.
I am in small town east Texas. I honestly do not know of any airgunners in the area. I did know of one via another forum but like myself he was getting older and passed away last year.

Today’s delivery! Charles

curious how you like the two colts.. especially comparing the John Wayne to the Schofield.. interested in hearing about the 1911 too.. good bad whatever you think.. plinking for me is empty tin food cans..on the 1911 does it have a follower lock open for fighting with the tiny BB loading?
I suppose while you are replying, maybe what you think about the crossman 357 as well.. nice selection.
your welcome to PM me if you want
Mark
I’ll sure try to test and will share . At my age I can’t waste time! Charles

Couldn’t be more impressed with the r3

Told ya! Great guns! What happened with your FPS problem you posted about yesterday? I assume you got it figured out judging by your targets.
It might help others if you'd post the remedy for yesterday's FPS problem (on the fps post, of course).
I tried some new pellets in the rifle checked to make sure the gauge on the rifle was accurate (had to tweak my chronograph as well rifle does still shoot a tad low and slower for the first 15 shots or so then evens out and stays around 880 ish I’ll need to look at the regulator eventually most likely but for now I’m happy. Will probably try some different slugs (20 grain and bellow) and see how they work for now I’m sticking with the 18 grain jsb/fx pellets

Benjamin  Coffee and trigger time

I only do 1 cup of Java juice in the morning to kick start things.
I am amazed by the people that drink that all day, or even worse the people that drink the caffeinated soft drinks all day.

I had coffee in the bottle as a baby. I drink two cups in the morning and a third in the afternoon. In between if I want coffee I get decaf. As much as "they" have tried there has never been found anything really bad about coffee and a lot of good. I was 69yo in the picture, does not seem to be hurting me, had already spent two weeks diving in the Red Sea.

I am lifting much larger rocks now, that was a small one. The poor camel however, I felt for him. I am amazed at people who do not drink coffee :p.

Guantlet regulator stack.

I found the 3 shims in my regulator, and realized I did not need to mess with the stack that is held in place by the white O ring. First I removed the 2 blue shims this made the fps to low for the 18 , but was damn near perfect for the 14.3. then I replaced one of the blue shims and the 16 grain were perfect. Then I removed the brown shim , and replaced the 2 blue , and I would say from the last 2 - 5 shot groups that it was worth the trial , and error work. It's not the speed of 890 , but great 5 shot groups. #1 Average is
837.32 #2 is 834.26 the middle photo is the Crosman Premier HP 14.3 with the slip noted. The bottom pic below the Crosman groups is showing the last 2 groups with the 18 grain Apolo domed field & target.

Custom Notos from Palm Beach Airguns

Bug Buster is way overrated imo. Get an LPVO scope or something for cheaper and better glass. Better yet, spending the same - time of writing bug buster is on 'sale' for $190, original $200 - you can get a Discovery Optics ED-AR 1-8X24 LPVO with parallax adjustment and first focal plane and a better reticle.

will gx cs4i fill a 9l scba tank

I like both my bottle and GX CS2. The CS2 takes up less room so it is easier to use with the gun still on the bench. Usually I would carry the gun to the bottle but might carry the CS2 to the gun. The CS2 needs about 3 minutes to fill my little guns which is at least 2 minutes longer than my bottle but I can fill magazines while the CS2 works. The CS2 makes more noise but it isn't really loud. If you want the least cost option I would just get the little CS2. If you can afford both I see advantages to a bottle and compressor to fill it. But a small portable compressor doesn't give up a lot in functionality. I see it as a good do-it-all solution. My YH + bottle did what I needed but I don't see trying to travel by air with either of them. I think I could with the CS2.
I was smiling about the noise. I use my CS3 at the range and have only had one noise complaint, from a guy who was shooting a .308 Winchester. He complained about the compressor noise, and I asked if he was serious. The other shooters all turned their heads and started laughing at the incredulity. The .308 shooter clued in and also laughed.

Single shot tray or loader for Daystate Redwolf Safari in .30

It’s been about a year or so since I have ordered a magazine from Carms, have them on all of my airguns and they work fine - I do have one on my .22 Redwolf. I ordered off his website and usually took a couple of weeks to arrive from Croatia. Here’s his website: https://www.carm-magazines.com/contact.aspx

RTI  RTI Mora just keeps getting better.

They are…. INDOORS or short range like 50Y. You never know outdoors if the slightest puff of wind could cause instability. I think Joe and his Mora are doing great, but let’s see how they do real world (PAC or EBR) before we get too excited.

Absolutely. Wind introduces an entirely different dynamic. The general rule Ive always followed is the higher the wind, the lower the speed should be.

FX  FX Impact M3 - Regulators not working

Definitely like said watch the videos. I know there is a piece (forget what it’s called ) at the end of the long valve rod, right behind the valve adjuster. Be careful taking it off not to mar it up. Also when putting it back on you can’t just screw it back in place. The spacing is critical.
the Spacing is 6-6.5 MM

N/A  Gimme a Brake

Made a brake for the HW30 I’m putting together. Turned it on the lathe and set it up on the mill with a spin indexer to drill 20 holes in it. Looks cool. I guess. Gave it a simulated target crown.
I think I need a black pistol grip cap? I decided on a recoil pad. Brown and black 1/2” thick. No white spacers on this.View attachment 557138View attachment 557137

BRK Ghost with slug barrel.

I asked Darren at AOA, he said that it is just steel (not stainless) it comes with a coating of silicone grease, but that it would need to be oiled/etc. To be maintained.

I am debating between bluing or painting mine once I get it.

I did see pics of one that had been painted black and it looked good.
It does have a shine to it, so it looks like SUB MOA did polish it. Black or blued would look really good too.

Kral Arms  Punching above it's weight class.

A Puncher Mega Mini/carbine?. I guess that’s what you’d call it lol. He takes parts from a couple different guns. End up with a Puncher Mega stock with a barrel/tube barely longer than the stock. It’ll be like 35” w/ mod which is awesome for non bullpup.

It’s going to make the ultimate woods walker or truck gun. Can’t wait to get it. Should be done soon.

Rob
That will be a sweet Rifle And short for non bully.
.22 cal ?
Sounds very interesting. Those krals can be amazing.
I have a kuzey k300 that he massaged and it shoots light out.
