AirMaks Arms  Any experience with Epic Airguns?

I have a very early Katran in .22. Had some reg problems but it shoots now great. I also have an Epic 2 .25 550 with a barrel kit .22 700. Epic is a more refined gun. I like it very much. Sadly I have not shot it much. Life and weather got in the way. The shooting I did promised some very nice/good things.
Very curious to know how things are working out for your Epic Two. Please let us know your results. Thanks!

Umarex  Gauntlet .25 (First Generation)

After settling the yearlong Airacuda Max .25 saga, finally got around to addressing Gauntlet concerns. Always highly accurate with JSB 33.95s @ 740 FPS, I decided to upgrade to larger bottle and 2200psi regulator, up from OEM 1900psi one. Best laid plans of mice and men, accuracy was no more. Installed Terminador's HS adjusting adapter ($30, eBay) and drilled access hole in stock. Also, drilled vent hole in shroud per Hajimoto YT video. Decided to tune Gauntlet for JSB 25.39s since original plan to use surplus in Airacuda Max changed when her preference for accurate shooting of JSB 33.95s (MKII) @ 766 FPS, SD of 1.1, was revealed. Gauntlet shot this group today @ 50 yards, 860 FPS, SD 6.7, 41.7 FPE. Question is, with Airacuda and Gauntlet back in line, what am I gonna fuss with now?;)

Thermal under 2k recommendation. Day and night hunting

I have the AGM Rattler TS25-384. I had it for more than a year at this point. It is just under $2k. But I don't have it on the rifle. I use it as a monocular to find the animals but it is nice to have the option to mount on a rifle. It is light and small. Much smaller than the pulsars or the Thor. So far I had no issues with the Rattler. At 384 the resolution is good enough to identify smaller critters up to 50y or so. Due to the jungle near me I can't see far so I don't know what would be the detection range. On the rifle I have the Sightmark Wraith Mini 4k IR. I find it more fun to aim through the IR. You see all the details. I would definitely recommend the Rattler at 384 resolution.

Shooting with a New Person and Kid

I am older but i love to shoot with people, mostly young shooters :)
Any chance I get to shoot with others I cherish it. The rifle club I belong to is an hour and half away from me, I bring because I compete here in both rimfire rifle and precision pistol. When practicing I prefer to meet friends from the club to shoot with, it's an opportunity to help each other and have save comrade. I'm also glad that we moved into our new home so I can go out back and shoot my airguns whenever I want, hopefully find some local guys to have over for the same here.
