Curious, how much more would you pay

I am thinking about another TX200 to play with IE: open the loading port a bit wider ? that would weaken the gun for cocking , might bend if modified too much maybe need to weld steel strips along the bottom of the tube opposite the leading port ? I have lefty versions of the TX and the loading port is already wider on the left side .
OR make a drop in piece that would guide your finger tips /pellet into the correct position , this sounds like a more doable project . .
I recently picked up a Diana 56 TH and the difference in ease of loading between that and the TX200 is night and day. The 56 isn't much trouble at all to load, while the TX200 is a PITA.

FX  Wildcat Mk3 + H&N Mk2 slugs = Magic

I've been round and round trying to find a slug that would shoot well in my Wildcat MK3 BT Compact. I've tried at least a dozen different slugs of varying brands, diameters and weights but never got the accuracy I was wanting; until yesterday. I tried the H&N HP2 slugs, 0.218" diameter, 25 grain weight. At 50 yards outside on a calm day I was consistently hitting the 1/4" square bullseye on my targets. Groups were consistently 1/2 MOA or better. This is twice the precision (half the group size) of any other slug I've tried. When I got home I ordered a dozen tins.
I'll have to work out my ballistic drop vs distance chart, then any small game or pest inside 50 yards is in serious jeopardy!
I have tried H&N hp2 in my Impact with great success also, (.217 27gr)

Congrats again to Giovanni Atzeni and Carmen Papaleo….this time in 50m Unlimited

The Italian 50m Unlimited Air Rifle Championship match took place last week. There are 7 qualifiers throughout the year and the championship is the battle of the top 20 qualifiers.

Giovanni Atzeni took an easy victory posting a 33 point lead over second place using his 22 caliber Thomas HPX. Carmen finished 3rd… but did so using her 20 fpe .177 Thomas BR. That’s some strong wind reading !!!

Many thanks to both of them for their dedication to the sport and their choice of Thomas Air rifles.

Anyone experience with a Nikko Stirling Diamond Hornet ED 10-50x60 HMD-T

I recently bought the Hornet ED 10-50x60
I have not received it yet, because it comes from Germany, I paid 700 Euros, which was a decent deal, still waiting to see if it will stack up the the Diamond 10-50.

Not sure why Nikko Stirling discontinued that scope, because it was an excellent scope for FT.

FX  FX again goofs with parts on Pathera accessory. Side rail adapter.

Regardless, The screws that came with the adapter FROM FX, were the incorrect size. For the record. The head size on the x45 I ordered from Amazon is exactly the same size/type as the ones that FX sent. The length was the issue.

It's unfortunate for the end user that much is certain!

NEW .20 Zan Projectiles Slugs

I really get what you're saying, it's just this sport has so very many delays, with everything, that I don't wait and hope any more. Life's too short, unforseen circumstances pop up more and more, so strike while the iron is hot, you might not get the chance later. This pretty much applies to everything, if you can pull it off.

Is this appropriate lube for Airgun use?

You think that's the same stuff? It doesn't say HIGH PERFORMANCE but I figure maybe they just changed the label???
They both say non-detergent which I think is the important distinction for airguns. I learned a lot from this thread and now have a couple different lubes/oil for various purposes

New to the forum

Those are beautiful, I should have specified when I said “foreign” I meant “crappy foreign” not “Swiss watch/Mercedes Benz foreign” I’m 100% onboard with a German or Swiss made air rifle
Yes sir.
I figured that those people only had airguns to shoot, while a majority of Americans figured them as toys after the war.

Sheridan  Sheridan Supergrade pump cups

I realize this is an old thread although for those interested I found this seller and purchased the cup for my Model A. They are as close to original as you'll find anywhere and it worked like a champ.

I bought a pair for myself, just to have them on hand. They are absolute quality, and appear to be identical to the OEM cup.
The Seller James V. also has a lot of other hard to find parts, and I have found everything that he produces to be of high quality.
