Magazines  NLA Looking to trade only, have 2x Notos/PP750 .22 CARM regular/left side feed magazines, want 2x right side

I have 2x .22 12 shot Carm magazines for the Notos/pp750 that are the regular/left side feed type. I would like to trade them for 2 equivalent "right side" feed type Carm mags. If anyone is interested in trading, let me know. Mine are like new, only cycled maybe 3x each. I decided to put a different scope on my Notos, and now needs the right hand feed mags. My Carm mags are yellow, if it matters.
Thanks

Adjustable Rings. Vector Optics X-Accu

I have a set of the X-Accu's in picatinny. They do not sit level on any picatinny rail. Both rings are very visibly canted on the rail. Other than that great rings - maybe I got a bad pair.
I had an issue with a Vector scope in the past. I sent them photos of the poor picture quality. They immediately sent me a replacement and told me to throw away the one I had.

Airguns and preppers. The problems with airguns.

I think airguns would be extremely useful items. They're something that will allow you to hunt small and medium sized game and dispatch pests effectively and quietly and in either .177 or .22 you can stockpile several thousand pellets without spending a crazy amount of money. Get 5000 or more and you're realistically looking at a lifetime supply, considering you would be only using them as needed.

I wouldn't envision ever using them defensively though.
an HW30 could easily blind an intruder , two pellets .

FX  Fx Maverick 600mm, 480cc shot count and energy

Do not, Do not, Don’t….listen or gather done deal advice from anyone on YouTube. It’s best to ask here instead, from folks like Hogkiller(I picked him because he’s a maverick aficionado and is on all maverick related topics offering advice) and other owners of the maverick.

You’ll never ever hear any negative on a product from a you tuber that has ties to the manufacturer. Guaranteed
Thank you, I do not pretend to be an expert on them only because I've made enough mistakes of my own to learn, and fixing others mistakes, like one of the used Mav's I bought that the guy totally hosed and got going thanks to Bigragu assistance. That said, my .25 VP is a tack driver, doesn't matter what pellets 33.95 or Slug, 26gr RMR, good enough out to 125+ yards. The .22 Compact is good enough at the same distances with 22gr RMR/FX slugs or 18.13 pellets. Image is a cork at 100 yards. Technically 3 shots, first knocked it down but no hole, second was a miss third well slightly off center.

I can give you my awesome tune depending on what you decide. YMMV on the outcomes but will get you going.

Oh yeah shot count, you'll be bored before you run out of air. I lose track around 60 on both of mine.
Scopes are Arkens, love them even with old eyes. Top is showing it with a TriggerCam, but I swap between guns.

Hatsan- Fix it myself or send it off?

Thanks Matt and Marflow! All fixed now. You were right Matt. It was just O rings. I replaced all the ones in the pressure tube and it holds great now. The offending one was the little guy on the check valve. It was rock hard! Came off in chunks. The others were not much better. Thanks again guys!

Glad to hear you got it fixed by yourself and we were able to get you up and running again! Good work.

Tis the Season for Umarex and Dawn Patrol!

I've had a couple teething problems with mine. Started with a teflon o-ring at the tip of the regulator stack going out. Then, actually twice, the Foster fitting valve stuck open thus keeping me from being able to keep air in the thing without a tether. And once I was shooting a duplex load (2 slugs) and they jammed up the magazine, requiring me to unscrew the barrel to get out. No biggie there and definately my fault. But the worst is the total lack of Umarex support. I called them with an issue, guy tells me I HAVE to send it in (lotsa shipping on a gun this size) and that he will email be an RMA number. Never did, so I decided to press on and am glad I did. There is nothing complicated about what I have found so far.

And I love shooting the gun, total rush everytime I pull the trigger. And unbelievable power.

Results  Nov 18 FT Match: Tar Heels at Twin Cities

IMG_1350.jpeg

It was fugly with wind last Saturday, 18 NOV, when 4 shooters and one observer met at Twin Cities to shoot the Gas Line. Temps were pleasant, in the mid-50's. But the winds? They were all over the place. You can see from the course pic above that gusty winds are wide open to do what they want.

It wasn't unusual to double dink a faceplate with a first shot 6 mph hold-off being too little and the follow up shot hitting on the crosshairs.

I (Knobs) shot a 38 WFTF PCP, Ro shot 23 with an 11 FPE Hunter Spring rig, George shot the same score as Ro in Hunter PCP and Jimmy knocked off early as he was still resting up from a medical proceedure. If Jimmy had shot the full course he'd probably have kicked my butt as I watched him make some tough shots that I had just missed.

In any case it was a good day for the TYar Heels at Twin Cities. If the weather cooperates we'll likely shoot the December match mid month. Look for the announcement.

SCOPE LEVELING WITH FLASHLIGHT

If you guy's are really wanting to go the extra mile, there's the method similar to the archery "walk back" tune that will fine tune any discrepancy between the scope and barrel. If your barrel and scope are off it will print an angled line down the paper. This method does require an accurate system and steady shooter.
