Just saw this on PA email this morning. Maybe it’s been around for sometime and I’m just seeing it for the first time. Pretty neat.

WFTF PCP - safe foot pound setting

Well... let me share Todd. You know my experience at Worlds in Italy in 2022. The lesson of my life. I had my rifle set at 780. In the morning of the first day, it was shooing stable. It was dead nuts stable for weeks (months) leading up to the big event. Tested it three times in the morning of that day's event. Shot the entire match, on the last lane for me was the chrono. Temps were well over 100s, blazing sun, all, day, long. Blew 1 meter per second over. barely into the 800s. Got DQd. Here is what I learned... Sh!t happens. But then after that...
My strongest recommendation is to service your O-rings yearly, or sooner if you leave your gun out in the AZ heat. Next, find suitable cover for your rifle out of the heat or direct sunlight. And third.. to finally answer your original question, set your baseline anywhere from 750 to 780 (w 8.4s in wftf). It's a multi prong approach... heat mitigation, maintenance, and fudge factor. Like folks have said, AAFTA rules you have 2%... WFTF World rules you've got ZERO %. let me say that again .... ZERO tolerance. Don't put yourself in a situation that can potentially get you in trouble. I've asked myself if i was at 750, would i have passed, with that jump? maybe. Give yourself the room. Minimize the variables you can control. Maintain your sh!t like it's a religious shrine, or a Ferrari going through the mountains on a rainy night with your kid in the passenger seat.

Cheers.
Thanks Garrett. As always, good advice.

Pellet lube

I'm going to be wildly unpopular here. Unless you have a crap rough barrel you ain't fouling it unless you're shooting it supersonic or shooting hard lead Crosman pellets.. Soft lead clears itself. Hard lead takes a bronze brush to clear
Yeah Bayman you're Wildly unpopular:)!

A good polishing/waxing of the barrel per Motorhead - is the best medicine I know of for all airgun barrels.

That said, it's more important when shooting PCP's with slugs/higher velocities or harder pellets -> Crosman ...........

IIRC, Scott said you only need to do the actual waxing once/Twice per year and pull a dry patch thru if accuracy falls off.
The wax simply fills the imperfections in the barrel which normally would be done by shooting/originally leading the barrel anyway (aka tuning the barrel).

Hatsan  Hatsan Neutron Star (Review) +1200 FPS Accuracy Test

I really like the fact that you didn't whitewash the accuracy issues. I've seen way too many reviews from other youtubers that make it look like you can expect one hole groups from just about any rifle.
Roger that. Usually when a gun shoots below it's price point I just don't have it on my channel. Like early AEA's and JTS. But that was my second attempt at a Star video. I thought the first gun was used. But it was just dirty from the factory, and it wasn't shooting that way because someone shoved a metal cleaning rod down the barrel, then returned it, like I originaly thought.

Honestly though, it's fun to joke around...but it may shoot NSA slugs like a laser. We really don't know. I have every .25 can NSA slug they sell for my IBEX...but not even one .22 NSA. I'll have to buy them soon. I do own one box of every slug ZAN sells in all the calibers. I call it my "slug library".

By the way. I think I'm ordering this today (from Europe).

Range finding scopes for hunting

I use a ghillie long pullover with hood it's long enough to cover to my shins. I sit in a stool and shoot off sticks. I like to see and some places if you sit on your bum you can't see but 40 yds. To be honest I usually kill more with my shotgun each year than my rifle. I will have to look at my records for last year but I think it was over 50% were killed with the 12 gauge. I know last year I killed 67 from Nov to Feb. not a great deal but it's always a blast.

Scope camera discussion

I would really appreciate a thread to educate those of us that have yet to mount scope cameras on the best way to do so. It seems to me that the ability to stop, start, and edit the video might be as important as the camera and mount system.

I have been considering the Go Pro system offered by Utah Airguns. One of my questions is that when you stop the video between shots, can you restart it for the next shot or is it a separate video that has to be merged or spliced?

Thanks in advance to those that invest the time to educate us a little bit.
I do not have the Triggercam but it is one I'm leaning towards. This is a great comparison

SCAMMER ALERT: Steve1958

Yes I emailed them last night and told them. He's supposedly soon to be ex got back to me this morning and said he got into trouble and she was going to make it right. I told her I hope it works out that I don't wish ill on anyone. She asked for my address and what I had bought. I told her(him) that I didn't trust anything from this handle and don't worry about me. I haven't heard back
