I cannot comment about BSA but the AirArms guns that are made field target specific are 12 foot pound guns and i suspect that that is is turn off for a lot of shooters here in the US. I have a ProTarget and and EV2 and like them. Also anymore there is a lot of cheaper PCP stuff out there.

Yes the SKOUT’s barrel is super easy to remove, I suggest you put your thumb on the furthermost edge of the release for leverage and for full clearance of the release.

I love the Skout I just keep getting leak after leak? I’m very tired of this, I hope no one has the issue’s I’ve had because it’s a super gun!

You would have to pinpoint the area where the leak is (soapy water test) and replace the o rings in that area.

However, if this is a new rifle that shouldn't be happening and if you bought the rifle from a store/website you should be more than eligible for a return to swap it out for a gun with no issues. I would contact them and ask how to proceed.

You are very right. I can't provide the breach and muzzle specs right now but I understand that both specs are good to go.

Looks like one of the grooves is a bit harsh than others when I see the pellet pushed through the barrel.

It's so little aggressive that I couldn't find it with naked eye. Then with glass I found it.

Now I can just try fire lapping so that only that particular groove should get more abrression.

Further increasing the choke to the level of FX Superior liner might also overcome some of the bad effects of the barrel.

So it's a last attempt before throwing the barrel out of the window.

Ditto! I’d like info on this too. Any info on red/green dots or scope upgrades as well. Can anyone explain why folks pay $1500-$3000 on PCP when gas piston are so good? I’m serious, not dissing at all for those who do (fairly new to all this).

The pin could avoid the magazine to exit…., But irrespective of empty or not…..

Maybe a slug too slim that move inside the magazine……

If it does not jam with JSB pellets, then it is a slim slug causing the problem.
