Losing the light, but I got set up again outside real quick and shot a few quick groups with jsb 18s at 25 yards.

Nothing super special, but compared to before it's at least usable.

I think it'll settle down after another few 100 rounds. I think I may have it fixed. I will touch it up again with the next cleaning.

I also Noticed if I lean on the gun while in the rest, it seems to flex the tube or something and it definitely effects POI.

Oh...

Here's how the gun looks with the shorter barrel. It's just primered right now, until I figure our what I'm doing for the finish. The accuracy issue arose and slowed my down on the looks department.

No definitely not but man it sure is satisfying to hear that whop when the dirty 30 hits. . Just started shooting a 700 mm impact .30. Took a red squirrel today and the thump was louder than the shot. Crazy power for an airgun. I plan to detune as 115 bar is way more than I need for pellets. I was shocked by this but I only want 44.75 going 850-870 fps and at 115 bar it will shoot them well past 900. Going to cut the reg to 100 and retune hammer.

Funny you should ask Mike, because I cancelled my order with PYA on Friday because I had 4 tins of the new 28g Grands on back order. PYA told me May timeframe for availability, which is a wait.

So, although the Deep Cavity were in stock, I decided to order some new 16g .177 JSB pellets instead. Martin shipped my new RAW TM1000x .177 on Friday. I want to spend some time with the new rifle over the next couple of weeks.

Re. Shallows - now that I see your 100y groups, I may focus on getting some of those and will also try a tin of the Deep next time I order some. It may be a while though. But, I will definitely post my 100y groups when I get them in.

I have a kit for these.

You can do all the moisture filtration you want, but if you don’t store your guns properly in a controlled temp environment moisture will find a home inside your gun. Just finished working on an impact that wouldn’t seal in the reg area behind the trigger. It was found with the use of a borescope the inside cavity of that reg tunnel had signs of corrosion to the point the o rings wouldn’t seal up. Long story short, it was found that the gun was temporarily stored out in a garage for where temps got super cold at nights and warm during the day.
