I have thought about the brk ghost but can’t justify it in my mind other than a want lol. I already have an umarex notos for my youngest son, airmaks Katran .22 for my oldest son, an fx impact .22, fx wildcat .25 and fx powerpup .30 for me lol. I pretty much have everything covered. Maybe another big bore one of these days but I can’t seem to really get into them, I guess because I want to shoot everything I have and the big bore ammo is more expensiveYes sir it was me and the wife, she wanted to get her blooming onion for Veterans Day. I’m hoping to bring him some toys to play with that he doesn’t carry. Daystate/Brk need to get on the ball with slug barrels, I think that is a big holdup for some buyers.
I don't see it anywhere on the bottle however it was on the certificate that came with the bottle.i dont see DOT anywhere am i missing it?
nope ,not interestedThat’s right, I said Paradigm Mini.

Alright, alright, so this isn’t real. Which is probably evident by my amateur photo cropping. But it ought to be real. IMHO of course.
All the higher end subcompact carbines are all black tackycool style rifles and while they may work just fine, they’re too utilitarian to me and aren’t very sexy. Again IMHO of course. The EVOL Mini is the ideal size and I liked that about it when I checked one out at Airguns of Arizona a few months ago but I’m just not that into the all black tackycool rifles that much. Especially at this price point. The Paradigm on the other hand is sexy as he!!. But it’s just too long for my personal tastes. I like my gals short and petite. We need to blend short and compact with the beauty and sex appeal and I’m convinced that the airgun world needs some high quality subcompact wooden stock air rifle options.
I don’t think this would be too hard to do either. I assume a Mini tube and barrel can be put on a Paradigm with little issue so it’s just a matter of a stock. And I’m sure a professional like Steve Corcoran could make the stock easily enough. The forearm just needs shortened and do away with the recessed rail in the bottom. Maybe make it a little slimmer and rounder instead of flat. It wouldn’t be a bench gun anyhow. Personally I think this would be an an awesome offering and I’d buy one tomorrow if it were available. I’d go with a walnut stock.
So let’s hear it. Would anyone else besides me buy this if it were available?

Is your life depending on using this tripod? Not really I think so I wouldn't spend your money on a new RRS tripod unless you have plenty to spend. Don't get me wrong, yes the RRS is slightly better in some aspects but it's the law of diminishing returns since you pay a lot more for a little bit of extra stability/rigidity.
If you don't have an opportunity in your area to try one you can start with the Leofoto or similar brand and try if you like it. You have a solid base to try out then and once you can try a RRS version you can properly compare it and decide if it's worth tripleThe leofoto tripods do well second hand so you should be able to sell it quickly if you want to.
This is indeed an option! Thx MLETake a look at the .30 cal AEAs, both the Challenger bullpup and the extremely compact HP Max. The Challenger will put out 120FPE and the HP Max 90-100FPE depending on slug/pellet weight. They won’t be as quality as your FXs, but the price point is very agreeable and they are certainly accurate enough inside 50yds for crow and up. Plus with your budget, you’ll have a lot of wiggle room to augment them (replacing the barrel and spring, for example) to get them running even better, and will have enough cash left over for a nice optic or a night (or three) on the town.
Hello @balverHey folks. I'm an airgun enthusiast who has very little shooting experience, and an airgun forum enthusiast who has logged onto AGN every day for three and a half years. I've read with interest stories regarding airgun competitions and which brand of rifle was used by those that took the top spots. Often stated is the question of whether it was the "arrow or the Indian." This got me to wondering how those variables could be accounted for in a competition between top shooters. Please forgive my naivete and let me know if you think my idea has any merit at all. Here goes. I propose a competion of five to 10 competitors shooting rifles at 100 yards, each using the same rifle. Shooters to be chosen from among the high finishers at current large events. Invite all manufacturers to submit one stock rifle, tuned by someone in their company to shoot the projectile of their choice. Maybe have the same scope on each rifle, and also let each manufacturer glean/sort enough projectiles to fully cover sight-ins and competion shooting. Allow each shooter enough time/shots to familiarize themselves with the platform, then on to competition shooting. Repeat for each brand of rifle. I'm sure there are a host of reasons that this idea won't work, but I'm curious what this community thinks. How to score such an event is way above my pay grade, but I would be interested to see who would prevail and which rifle posted the overall highest score. Maybe AGN could sponsor? Also, any attempts to name such a shooting event the Balver Cup are pure conjecture.![]()
Amazing job! I was looking to do the same but you’re the first person on in the internet that I found doing this! Finally found someone!I finally got in the side rail adapter for my little .22 Panthera Compact and once I sorted out an issue of incorrect screws sent out with it, I attached the Vltor MP-1 side mounted bipod.
Very solid. Very well built. They adjust in 90 degree increments in any direction and will extend (three settings for height).

Yeah, I got the grub screw out. But I should adjust it down as it is too loose now and the bolt handle does close under gravity when the barrel is in the downward position. Gotta pull the scope now...@Chukar60 Funny but true. I've learn valuable lessons similarly.
@Precision Quest Air It's funny, but trust me I've been there. Were you able to retrieve the grub screw?
