Crosman  Crosman 2240 Safety ball and spring.

there is a way to help keep the ball and spring from flying out and it is simple, add some grease
the grease has more hold than the spring has sprung energy
the springs can be found on Ebay as with the bearing balls
if you have 2-2.5-3mm bearing balls on hand you will stop looking for the one on the floor

Hunting Accuracy

lots of things going on there! cheaper pcps especially tend to be real picky on ideal fill pressure - forget about shot count if your pesting, generally one full mag is plenty, find that ideal fill .. couple things at work there on cheaper guns including how the valve is reacting to the pressure as well as fill tube actually flexing the entire gun under various pressure .. a few fps spread has an insignificant effect at nominal pesting distances under 50y ... so id say that would be your main focus is fill pressure and staying in a narrow spot with one mag ... second consideration is zero range, forget long distance, thats generally for paper punchers, and focus on an ideal zero, its usually under 20yds, say 18, which 'usually' covers you from ~13-45 or so dead on hold, a ballistics app helps .. if the squim is real close wait for a shot where its gonna hit something even if its an inch low, in other words its sitting up, you aim for the head but the vitals are an inch plus straight down, cant lose ..

Kahles 1050i ft scope for long range ?

Just tried to use the scope beyond 100 yards and I would NOT recommend this scope for that purpose. At 50x the sight picture is very fuzzy at best. Not fit for your purposes. My Delta Stryker beats the Kahles hands down beyond 60 yards.

hope this helps. Perhaps the BM is interesting enough with the Kahles that you can flip the scope and get something more fit for purpose. Good luck.

BTW. I enjoy your videos
Thank you for appreciating my videos. My videos are for international airgunners as our local users of airguns are not interested in technical stuff.

Thank you for advising me of the Kalhes ft scope.

I have made the deal without the scope.

The gun is costing me US$ 2K.

It's made pre Airforce era when Martin used to do almost everything with his small team.

I understand that with mass production, that level of QC is often not possible.

The gun is used just a couple of times on bench.

I prefer it over new RAW guns.

Good coffee makes good shots

I quite coffee cold Turkey, granted I barely drank 1-2 cups a day to begin with. This is partly because when I drink coffee I get jittery during shooting, this is especially bad when it comes to field target. Don’t notice it doing normal stuff besides shooting but coffee really jacked up my heart beat and steadiness. Since I been off coffee for months now I have no desire for the bitter brew anymore. I even feel great naturally with zero need for that “pick me up” in the morning.

Regardless, coffee makes me a bad/worse shot! 🤣🤣🤣

Finally, I am not alone in this thread :D

Kudos on quitting, it is not easy to change ones habits. A substance is probably not good for you if you're grumpy/sad ect in its absence or feel the need for it to function!

Don't take offense coffee drinkers, I don't think it's bad in general to consume, it was just bad for me.

Accessories  SOLD Hand Made Solid Oak Run Stand/Display/Maintenance

I made this oak gun stand. It is extremely versatile and solid. I made the 1.25" oak screw myself. The screw support slides on a dowel to best position on the rifle stock. The pistol grip support is also adjustable and slides on a pair of dowels, again to fit a multitude of rifle stocks. The contact points are leather padded. This baby could even be used as a shooting vise.

The stand is 28" long and 9" wide. Very stable. Another unique (and time consuming build) feature are the metal threaded inserts in the bottom of each large part. A hex bolt is counter sunk and attaches (from the bottom) the large pots to the base. This enables ease of disassembly for shipping.

$115 plus $20 shipping. I ship quick, secure, and I've bought and sold many times here on the nation.

Coyotes Keep Coming Here 2 Die

Good job Sasquatch for bagging another one.
Thank you. I have seen 2 more on trail camera. Including an incredibly mangy one and a very large alpha male (most likely alpha).

For some reason YouTube is imposing an age restriction when I have none set on this video. It appears that the YouTube AI is automatically bucketizing it to over 18 audiences. It is a form of automated censorship... When they ban me I will move to Rumble

BSA Gold Star?

we in the states are cheated
the guys and gals have Chambers and Knibbs and Protek for parts, there service is first rate and their prices are what they are but the price you see and price we pay is different because of their VAT
Mark at Knibbs is a great guy that will help beyond anything i have ever seen
Knibbs is my go-to for info and parts diagrams and everyone should be aware of the site for not only buying but as a source for information

How often do you play?

I have a 1/2 acre in the city limits and can get away with some occasional, short-session shooting at 35 yards. Maybe 15 minutes at a time, 4-5 times a week in the evening when everyone is inside so as to not bother neighbors or draw any unwanted attention. Weekends might allow for more time if lawnmowers are going in the neighborhood. I love my home and my neighbors, but I seriously would have bought in a more rural area if I was into this hobby at the time. I don't think neighbors have an issue, but I don't want to push it and find out the hard way.
