You're correctI believe the original poster is from the UK (Manchester, England)
He knows that he can swap calibers on an FX Impact.
What I believe he wants to know is whether he is violating his FAC (Fire Arms Certificate?) by adding the .22 caliber barrel kit to his .25 caliber Impact.
Its a UK regulatory question the way I understand it.

LolI do not kneel.
I will kneel only for St. Peter..
Thank you. I think of all the hunting I've done in my life squirrel hunting is the most enjoyable. It's funny around here when I ask to hunt squirrel people look at me weird.Great hunt, and an excellent post. The pics show a text book example of typical fox squirrel habitat. Reminded me of some of my youthful hunts in Mississippi.
Mine is the 700mm I shoot them around 930 fpsI have the STX-A Slug liner in .22x600 only, the TR I measured is 1:15.5 ??
maybe you shooting your pellets faster...
The Delta has the same tube and lenses as the Trijicon. I believe the poor clarity of my Trijicon comes down to quality control. I had a friend of mine who shoots the same matches I do, and owns a Golden Eagle, look through the Trijicon. He concurred with me regarding its poor clarity. He went on to say that the Trijicon is unusable in its current condition.Sorry to hear of your scope troubles
I was looking forward to a review of the scope as it applies to benchrest.
About the same time you posted, I was also looking at scopes . I looked at the Delta Stryker 5-50 x56 with the moa reticle and turrets since they had a slightly finer adjustment compared to mil ..3.5 mm/5 mm per click. I mainly shoot from a bench. I want the finer adjustments. The Delta has some incredible glass and the turrets are marked in huge numbers. Makes it easy on aging eyes. So if i was clicking, i wouldn't have to put on readers to check the numbers. I have never looked through the Trijicon, but i am very glad to be looking through the Delta.
Hope you get your scope back soon

Yes, I did get a bit ahead of myself and forget what the title of the thread was. That said, I think you extrapolate too much about my thinking. I agree that businesses usually cater to profit margins and to the largest addressable market. That said, there is room for niche products at appropriate prices (just check out etsy). An adjustable springer would be a niche product that would probably be priced double of a typical springer.I agree with that statement, however the title of the thread is "why aren't springers externally adjustable", not "why doesnt someone make a niche model that has multiple power settings". There are springers with multiple power settings. If you want one you can buy one. If you think you can do it better than they do, then do it. The answer to the title question is exactly what I posted. Nothing more or less.
One of the issues here is the disconnect between thinking that businesses are able to cater to niche enthusiasts. I see many questions here that are essentially "why don't airgun companies make exactly what I need and want". The answer is always, because they have a business to run and it doesnt make sense for them to try to cater to every want and need. You think like an enthusiast, they think like business people that have to make a profit in a generalized market to survive. It is the answer whether you like it or not. You don't have to agree with me in order for me to be right.

WOW, nice collection
I’m currently using this bipod too. It feels really solid, locks into place and rotates smoothly. Performs well at a good price!Personally I like sand better than rice, but you need something that is finely woven. I found rice in the sock to be too light and too coarse for a stable rear support. I have a couple old lead shot sacks that I found somewhere and filled them with sand and double-fold zip-tied the end closed. Have been using them for many many years and have won many local matches with their help. Another good bipod for the money is the Caldwell XLA. Kinda expensive when compared to the really cheapy overseas copies you can get now, but still a budget option with far better build quality. I also have a UTG bipod I like that is built really well and is very solid, I think I paid like $90.

I got it in and will test with and without hopefully this weekend.Could the Maverick owners that are using these give some feedback on what you think? Anything to consider before using one?
Thanks in advance.

ThanksI e-mailed him at this address on Monday and received a reply yesterday: [email protected]
Yes, I tried purchasing one on ebay last year. Turned out the seller had used a picture of a good one and sent one with a broken rear sight. I quickly contested it and he paid for shipping back plus my refund. If you an find a 777 it has a metal sight, one of the best I have seen. I had purchased several using ebay with no problems, 777, 747 and one 717. Built up a series for myself here in Texas and my son & grandson in Ms so we would have enough to have some matches in either place. Stripped all down, new seals, orings, and valves throughout, and adjusted.power level is great, the bolt is behaving just shoot it
in the future buy a new bolt and or any parts that could be use in the future
the parts are drying up and take care of the rear sight there are no more
