Benjamin  Marauder - Huma Leak

This is how my .177 Marauder is set up. My guage block Huma at 1650-1700 psi. Transfer port restrictor open all the way. Hill light hammer, peek striker, hammer spring and valve spring. With hammer adjuster 2 1/2 turns in, I get around 85+ shots at 18.5 ftlbs. Thats a JSB 13 GR going 785fps. 4 turns of hammer adjuster I get 840+fps for 21 ftlbs. With hammer at zero turns, around 10 fpe for around 140 shots. The gun is very efficient and quiet.
I followed the wisdom shared by the folks on this forum. Thanks guys!

Tuning  Definition - Tuning To The "Knee"

I'm a little more confused now. You talk about HS 3+5, 3+10, 3+15. etc. Please explain that . My Avenge X has only one HS adjuster.
The referenced increments apply to the "Micro" hammer spring adjustment on an FX Panthera. I have no knowledge of the HS adjuster on an Avenge X but the concept is to start low and up-adjust the HS in small increments until MV does not increase with further adjustments.

300 yards on steel with .25 M3

great 👍 thanks for the pictures. it makes it easy to understand..
so I you go more than a revolution you either have to have the digital dial indicator or remember how many turns.. too bad there's not a veneer scale on the side indicating a number for how many turns..
that would work for me since I haven't used any ballistic calculator..

Fun with speed shooting

Was able to see this in action and now I can finally practice it more reliably. While this speed event will take some practice, I think it is the most accessible in terms of practicing on your own and actually being competitive. You all should really find a way to tryout these @rxtargetssys targets if you get a chance. Great for individuals, clubs, and competitions.

PCP Rifle  SOLD 'Cosmetically challenged' FX MKll crown grey laminate ((Traded Thank you Sir.))

=======Traded = Thank you Kind Sir. =========

I would like to trade ( with a reputable member) a Grey laminate FX MKll Crown that is seriously 'Cosmetically challenged' haha. I am really only looking to trade for or towards a Leshiy Classic ( Can also be cosmetically challenged haha ). You pick the caliber/probe and one mag of your choice (I have them all in = used condition). If you have any interest in this fell free to shoot me a pm and we can exchange phone numbers and discus it further . The stock and body have dings scratches just zoom in on the pics . The stock has also been butchered so you can make small adjustments to the hammer spring with out taking it off lol. ( Not done by Me haha ) It looks as if some sanding could go along way from the correct person. No Barrel or Tank. as pictured

Here are some pics look closely please. Has been tested and has no leaks . (y)

Thank you and have a great Day !

FX  FX impact X need some help

First impact? Never owned one before? May I suggest you get an entire o ring kit for the gun. It’s not saying anything bad like it’s a leak monster, but understand that an impact probably has the most o rings out of any other pcp out there. I own two of them, had them now for a total of 2 years on one and four on the other, and between the two I have resealed them each at least twice, and some areas like the regulator three or four times. Still love the platform!
I’m gonna do you a favor, though, but it going to take effort on your part. Go to fx swedens website and go to the support section, and you’ll find parts diagram downloads for all their guns. Pull up the drawing on your gun and highlight all items saying O Ring and jot down the sizes, the type(NBR is Buna and PUR is polyurethane), and the durometer rating(NBR 70 or NBR 90).
Sizes given- first number is inside dimension second number is thickness.

Then go to oringsandmore.com and go the the metric buna section and start creating your order list. You will find typically it comes 25 o rings per order, meaning, when it’s all said and done you’ll have enough o rings to reseal your gun 25 times!

Total cost, and this is where you’ll thank me, will be at around $25 or less including shipping, way cheaper than the captain o ring kit that gives you enough to seal that impact one time.

Good luck
Thank you so so much sir. Really like this place, there are many people that give rookies a big help. Thanks again.

PCP Rifle  NLA 22 cal maverick for crown mk2

Testing waters to see what’s put there.

I have a 22 maverick with 480 bottle and both 500 and 600 barrels and shrouds I’d like to trade for a crown mk2. Preferably 25, but open to other options. Would also prefer walnut stock, but again, open to options. Maverick is currently setup to shoot nsa 20.2 slugs at a little under 910fps. It’s stupid accurate with them out to about 70yds (my back yard range), and was about as accurate with 18gn jsb with power wheel on 3. Sekhmet gauge in reg position, slug kit installed, and will come with original parts also. Will come with 2 factory mags, and hard case.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks for looking.

FX  Fx Crown at 45 yards

These targets were shot with wind.. My question is why does the effect seem to be more pronounced at 45 yards?
Alpo007,
I am attaching the video done by Matt Dubber a couple of years ago about the spiral problem. The problem is a function of the pellet speed , the wind speed and direction, the pellet size and shape, and the twist rate of the barrel. As explained in the video an unsettling force (like a cross wind) can cause a chain reaction of events which induce spiraling. The further the range the larger the spiral. Matt also includes a link to a Slovanian guy who has a video that is a bit more technical in his explanation. Enjoy!
Cheers,
Greg

Limited Edition anything

That's an interesting perspective considering the amount of podium appearances by Daystate shooters. And not to mention their pioneering tech and extreme owner loyalty over the past several decades. :)

Please, don't get me wrong — I value Daystate products highly!

I was not commenting on Daystate products in general — but on the comment of buying one Daystate rifle and I quote the poster, "never have to buy another rifle."
The high quality of Daystate of 2023 will still be high quality there in 2043. But the high performance specs, the highly innovative features — those will not be "high" anymore in 2043....

➧ That's all I wanted to point out. 👍🏼

Matthias 😊
