Lubing zan slugs

I hand load NSA 12.5s and Zan 13s into my Leshiy classic. The NSAs require more push, implying they’re a little wider. Also FWIW, shooting the same FPE, the Zans expand quite a bit more, presumably due to softer lead.
Okay, so not sure why but the gun is shooting normal now. So 16gr zans are going about between 890 and 905 now. Maybe I checked the speed on a mostly empty tank? Don't think so idk. Either way they're still outshooting everything else I own.

Daystate Huntman 177 in 12ft/lb can it be used for hft field targets, and rabbit hutting.

In HFT it would be a matter of knowing your trajectory and hold points, which will be greater than the 20 fpe rifles. Regarding rabbits, they are not nearly as tenacious to life as squirrels, and with a decent hit, you should be good. If the hit is anywhere in the rib cage forward, Cottontails tend to lie there and die, whereas squirrels run and hide to their last breath. If a gray squirrel weighed 100 pounds, it would give a Komodo Dragon a fair fight. Sorry, I digress.
Agreed. I posted in a thread that I swear some rabbits would die on a missed shot........lol

Why Did You Join AGN?

Another who felt the times of old on the GTA had / was fading away at an accelerated speed. The years of having a really solid think tank of air gun enthusiasts which was my draw from the start, really had evaporated. That's not saying that level of sharing & development is happening here  but there is more going on within AGN than the GTA in recent years. Stuck in a time warp I suppose and miss the past .....
Not to sound like a snob, it is just a very large part of my personality to "Think" about what's possible & go figure it out with others by doing the R&D for a tway to make it happen and share that journey & its results
I’m always thankful for you and your knowledge!

PCP Rifle  SOLD Selling FX Dynamic 600mm .30 cal (beast)

I’m at 128 bar on the reg for good shot count shooting 50.2 grain JSBs at a harmonically balanced velocity. You can definitely get some crazy power out of this thing if you up the reg (I think up to 150 foot pounds). Purchased in July of 2023. 2.7 years warranty left on it. I just got it back from UtahAirguns. Comes in hardcase with 1 magazine.

NO SCOPE OR BIPOD

SOLD. Prefer Zelle. Please look at my feedback.

Sheridan  Superfun Saturday

Thanks guys...
It was a great way to meet some shooters and generally good people and to support the local VFW.
There IS a story behind the Sharp but might be too long in my wandering way of writing. Was there something you were specifically curious about?

I've related some of my appreciation for pumpers in other posts. I've had several models of Sharp rifles and ALL, except the Innova were extremely well made and the top of my own pumper collection.. Even with iron sights, shooting the 15 yard card felt like cheating... if I would have brought my spotting scope. With 7 tries, I'm pretty sure I would have brought home a turkey with the Sheridan also. Now I have mostly used the Sharp at 10 yds w 3 pumps and 8.4 gn pellets but I SHOULD have used the 10.3s for better wind resistance at the 44 yd target. Just didn't go prepared 😕

Fun times, regardless...

FX  FX...... Where the pieces are manufactured?

Couldnt care less as long as finish is proper, fit is proper, and use of materials is proper. I don't care if a guy on a raft in the middle of the Ocean made the parts. As long as they're right. I have guns that are extremely good that are 100% made in China. My FX is also extremely good. Or course more refined than the Chinese guns, but that's what you're paying for.

Holdover using scope clicks

If you dial for every shot the turrents will always match the center of the crosshairs. I have a Hawke scope that has a moa turrent but mil reticle. No problem if you dial for every shot or use points on the vertical croshair. If you change power with a 2nd focal plane scope the points on the vertical line will be different but the center crosshairs will be correct when dialing. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Yes, you are correct. It's a good thing most new scopes are being manufactured with corresponding reticles and turret values so there doesn't need to be any work around there.

N/A  The elusive airgun that AVERAGES 100 yard sub moa groups.

As long as I’m not fighting bad winds I can get sub 1” groups with my .22 cal Panthera all the time. I’ve proved on my channel that I can get .5” 5 shot groups at 100y with my panthera untuned and slugs I’ve altered consistently as well. With the 4 test groups I did I had all 4 5shot groups under 1” and the test slug groups went .37”, .51”, .52” and .83”and I was effectively able to almost eliminate all the fliers which is what messed up the .83” group otherwise it would of been in the .5” range as well. Finding the right slug/ speed combo with your riflings make all the difference. There are some other things you can do to help your cause. But the faster you can achieve stability the better results you will see at the target. At least that’s my thought behind it.
