FX  Anyone have the Bullet Central tensioner/Shroud Specs?

You can use the huma tensioner, but you will have to cut a spacer. I would just get a long one from bc and cut my own to fit. I don't know if Huma sells the rail seperate or not.

One thing I can say is the bc shroud and tensioner setup quieted the bark down considerably at the power levels I am running. Prior to the install it had the loud crack of a rifle. Now it is more of a loud woosh of air. I don't have a decibal meter, but it was night and day difference for me Also, the coyotes don't seem as jumpy when it goes off and boy does it flatten them.

One Piece vs Two Piece...the tale of the tape.

In my gun club I am randomly shooting @ four different ranges (50 to 100 meter distances) and I have an issue with constantly changing and levelling between the bench heights in relation to target. Some steel welded with wood plates and some wood made, the levelling all different.
Definitely not a fan of bipods and bags.
For my best convenience I am using my own diy one piece rest. But working now on minimizing the luggage I have to drag with me at every visit.
These only the larger packs and there are more things better not to forget at home... can fit my wife's SUV trunk only ;)

My new rear rest is in the mail shall arrive during the week, that will replace the big box (one-piece-rest) at the left side...

NLA WTB: .25 or .30 Moderators - Open to models

Looking for some .25 or .30 moderators to try out on my .25 air rifle. I have tried a wide range before, so hoping to find something I have never used before. Accuracy is more important to me than quietness.

Anyone got some models sitting around that they are no longer shooting and want to clean out some space?

PCP Rifle  SOLD SPF, Airforce Talon SS .177 $320 shipped.

I have an excellent Airforce Talon SS in .177. Very lightweight with plenty of power. 50yds is not a problem with any heavier pellet. At low power it slings crossmans well out to 40yds also. Accessorries not included but can be discussed. Thank You.

Memories are important so keep that old air gun!

Every time I see a thread picturing an air gun someone still owns after 40 or 50 years I regret all over again tossing my 1974 Sheridan in the trash in the late '80's because I acquired something bigger and better.

There probably aren't many kids reading these forums but 99% of adults here have kids or grandkids. If you have young ones in the family who shoot, don't let them throw their early (especially first) air guns away because they graduate to an "adult" air gun. Keep them for them if you have to.

Past memories will eventually outnumber future dreams 100:1 and they will appreciate being able to hold and look at those old guns, even if they're broken, and relive those memories in their minds.

I wish I still had every one of mine.
Well said.

There have been many airguns and firearms I've regretted selling, trading, or just forgetting about over the years. Wish I would have kept many of them. I still have a few guns from back then. Back in junior high school I was into shooting NRA rimfire pistol bullseye. The club also had 10m air pistol matches that I really wanted to participate in.

The guys at the club let me try out, and told me I should buy a Daisy 717. Saved up $60, a fair amount of cash for a teen in the early 1980's, and bought one. I still own that pistol, and I still enjoy shooting it 40+ years later.

I must have done something right, because my now adult daughter loves all the guns of her youth enough that she'll never sell or trade any of them. So many good memories.

The 717 I bought in junior high-

FX  FX Dynamic...Pellets or Slugs?

Capt Samm, we spent 3 weeks in Jaco a few years back. Fabulous time! We're thinking about going back to explore somewhere new (for us). What are airgun restrictions (or lack thereof) like in Costa Rica? Do you hunt or target shoot mainly? If hunt, what do you go after?
Nice Gerry! I live further north, very close to Samara. Anytime you'd like to come back and check it out just let me know. Im from Panama, but been coming here since end of the 90s and now live here too. Go to Panama to check things and come back.
Air guns are considered a toy here. Only fire arms have regulations. Lots of places you can go hunting although there are many places protected by the government and some private institutions. I know people who go hunting for deer and stuff around here. I just shoot doves now and other birds ;that are very good eating. I do fish a lot. Let me know if you ever make it back. Mi casa es tu casa!
Saludos amigo!

Other  Interesting unanimous choice

And I really got their attention when I put out the .25 Skout Epoch, the . 22 FX Panthera 700mm shooting the ZAN 30.5 Gr slugs, and the .22 Impact Mk III shooting the FX 25.4s, all three of them shooting at once, knocking 1.5” spinners from 70 to 85 yards. Sounded like a steel symphony…

TRS carbon fiber delrin bushing

Hi. I got a New liner with CF sleeve so my TRS clamp that holds the barrel shroud need a bushing like this.
But the transport is way to much for this 9dollar piece, so I was wondering if anyone have had any luck with making their own or have any other ways to solve this?
