Hatsan  Hatsan Jet 2 help

Did you cock it before filling? If not Cock it and try again. If there is no air in the cylinder and the hammer is forward it could be putting pressure on the valve and holding it open enough for air to leak out the barrel. By cocking it, you are removing any chance the hammer could be holding the valve open.
Yes I have cocked it all the way back and it is still letting air out when I pump but thanks for the response.

Deer Discomfort Deterrent

Gentlemen, the forum community has answered the question that was posed, and y'all showed great restraint in your responses.

Thank you all for taking a stand to protect the Air Powered Shooting Sports by taking care of the question on the lowest level possible, peer-to-peer. The united front of Airgun Nation members giving a unanimous and firm "NO!" reflects well on the membership.

Thread locked and will be allowed to remain as a reference of your collective good character.

Crosman 2240

Oldgeorge - I wonder if you may be binding up on the hammer pin. When I reassemble a crosman I like the hammer in the cocked position and the bolt forward, line everything up best I can, open the bolt to install the breech screw (not tight just enough to allow the bolt to close, install hammer spring, rear cap and screws, test for function before tightening all screws. Good luck

Stocks/Grips/Chassis  NLA Weihrauch HW75/Beeman P2 Custom Grips

Custom made grips to convert the HW75/P2 back to its roots and accept the .45 grip panels. The grip panels are deep hand checkered Rosewood. They are modified so the screws can handle o-rings and stay snug. A problem always plaguing the 45. Also the standard 1911 grip cut outs (magazine release, detent) have been filled and colored. The screws are ground smaller for the o-rings, polished and blued. The extension is made of a very dense hardwood called Jarrah from Australia. Then painted black. It’s drilled to accept the original Target grip screw and a hole for access to the trigger adjustment screw for making fine adjustments with having to remove the grips. I made one for a fellow member here and another along with it. Probably will not make any more. This may also fit the HW45/P1 with the Target grip. Don’t have one check for sure. And I do not remember how the trigger adjustment screw works on the HW45/P1. The kit includes a pair of Rosewood grip panels, extension block, 4 Allen screws and 4 o-rings. GUN NOT INCLUDED!! $75 plus $5 shipping. Continental U.S only.

Crosman  Crosman 1760 Sunday project

Found mine on ePay - listed as, Crosman 22 not working needs seals. Could tell was nicely assembled 2240/50 with older Hy-pac adapter. Turned out 2B a 2250, 177 cal, and HS adj was max in holding the valve open. Still haven’t taken it down for a thorough inspection yet. Planning for it to be a peep sited plinker like yours (y)

Skout Epoch butt hook

Butt hook for Skout Epoch.

I worked with Andy @NAIAD001 to get a decent butt piece for my Skout so that I could “get it off the bench” and shoot EFT. I sent the factory butt pad and mounting piece to him, and he did an excellent job. Perfect fit. It allows the same adjustments as the factory butt pad. I removed the wing extensions since I like a tight fit on my shoulder. Last photo shows the butt hook with wing extensions.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Great job Andy!!!

Turning your Rock Chucker into a slug press?

@IndyDurtdigger I was just curious. Not looking to chastise you. I bought my setup under the new owners and got it in about 3 months. The only delay was some miscommunication on one of the base punches. Your experience was your experience and you’re supposed to speak out about it good or bad so that people know. Thanks for letting us know.

Sherwood Forest AAFTA Grand Prix June 21-23, Steubenville Ohio

Looking forward to a report by Keith. He and his crew put on a great event, first time and right out of the box.
Suffice to say the hollows course was challenging, swinging vines obstructing targets an added challenge and then there was the heat....

Had an awesome time and would definitely come back.

Air Venturi  Avenge X failure to fire

Having worked for a major trucking / shipping outfit for years long ago , I'd definitely call that shipping damage & no fault of the gun or design. With todays issues of trying to find personal at all ,yet alone good help that cares about their job , this is more common now than ever before. Damage like that was probably the same pallet of guns that took a hit somehow and several got the same injury . My Wife & I just saw the completion of a room refit above the garage . Of the four 1/2 doors needed to close of storage on each side , all had damage twice before we got them installed . The rep said " It's just normal anymore " !
