AirMaks Arms  Krait - stainless replacement screw set ?

Has anyone crossed a stainless screw replacement kit for the Krait? IMHO, it would be a nice touch to the aesthetics. But, perhaps I'm, the only one in this camp. 🤷‍♂️
None that I've seen but you can easily find stainless screws at ace. And the thread is M3

Niksan  Cold to hot sweating

I've always wondered if sweating ever caused rusting? I mean I know it can't get inside but can it still cause problems?
if you degas a PCP, or any compressed air container, too quickly, moisture / condensate can form internally - moisture related problems will occur. To avoid this, always degas very slowly (VERY) slowly, unless you want to open the whole thing up and swab it dry to remove moisture.

HW/Weihrauch  HW77K: Does Anyone Hunt or Pest With One?

I have the 4 calibres in the 77.
IMG_2234.jpeg
Having a .177 would be better for pesting over the .25 cal. Just shot my .25 the other day, an absolute favorite for plinking. Doesn’t get better. I think the .25 would be fine up to 30 yds. but the .177 penetrates deeper, which would be my choice.
I find the .177 trickier to load vs the other cal. due to size.
If you’re having problems with loading a 77, try an Air Arms TX 200, even more restricted. Good luck. Crow

Airgun Technologies  Vulcan 3 500 advise

Hi guys got vulcan 3 500. Recently bought reg tester. Been trying h&n 25gr27gr30gr at different reg pressure. Set it 180bar shooting well half way through my range day an just went off the ball and haven't been the same since stripped it 3 or 4 times changed seals tryed everything I could think of and come to the conclusion that my reg is done an it agt reg. Looking at buying the huma reg.Iv seen a guy on here who had the 500 an 700 who seems to now alot more than me after seeing his video but can't direct message yet. After some advice

Air Venturi  Air Venturi AvengeX FPS Gets Slower

Does that also apply if the airgun is regulated?
For an unregulated airgun you have to start messing with valve opening sizes, valve springs and fill pressures in combination with hammer spring and hammer weight to balance out the shot string. I had an unregulated USFT for years that I got to work with 22 cal for FT, shooting the 22cal was the most difficult since the rifle was designed around 177 cal at 20 ft-lbs (22 uses less air than 177).

Huma-Air 4th of July Discount

That's why I always go to order from them and I can't make it past the checkout. The shipping is just to much.
I always wait until I need a few hundred $ worth of stuff :) package arrived btw, no tariff drama because EU origin and below 800$ I guess.

Scope and Rifle leveling - flashlight and gravity.

Along my years I slowly reorganized my scope accessories, also my tools to work on scopes.
- from two piece scope rings - to a single piece mount .... these costs a bit more but I have find them more comfortable working with.
- from a horizontal split rings - to and angled cut and vertical split mounts ... more user friendly when setting up a bubble.
- I have seen these tools selling online, but I 3d printed mine... I always start with putting a barrel and the scope in a same vertical line.

The larger opening at front is for using the flasshlight.

Also I have to add here, that more expensive scopes have higher quality lens coatings and the flashlight method may not even work well unless a complete dark in a room.

Next, I would call attention to people relying on picatinny rail or scope box bottom face or to place a level on the turret cap. It is false, by coincidence you may get it right but mostly not.
Just look the bubbles what could happen easily if start from a wrong assumption .... not two the same. I always go step by step and cross check them.

The final step is, shooting a same vertical line at 5 or 10 meters and 50 or 100 meters. There and back until I can confirm hitting a same line.

Shelleen posting for Brink

We had to hold our June match on May 31st because of a conflict with a muzzle loader match being held on June 7th. The weather was good and there was only a light wind. One of our Unlimited shooters, Luke Gauthier, had a really hot day and shot a perfect score on the 25 yard match. He had three perfect 250's for a 750 for the match. Congratulations Luke.

FX  Impact m3 leak from mystery spot ?

After having the o-ring in the block in and out 20 or so times I finally solved the problem , but not after pinching one of them being in a hurry . Turns out it was the other 2 o-ring (3 total ) internally inside the huma aluminum housing . It does make it muck easier with the piston and washers inserted to fit the o-ring inside the block . I still don’t have the regs set to exactly but getting Closer . These are seriously finicky regulators . There is several good videos online youtube . It takes alot of concentration when the mood is right with no distractions and still another day or two sometimes even with everything you need ready plus a small endocamera with lights helps to verify what you think your seeing . A good brass pics helps but can be done with Stainless dental tools that are sharp - just don’t go down too far and scratch that area the washers ride in . here a brass pick would be preferred that is sharp to stick the o-ring to get it out of the groove it rides in . The small aluminum housing that has 3 small o-rings is just as much fun ! I used a wood stick(screwer or corn dog stick ) in both applications to push the o-rings down after pinching it to put it inside the block plus the trick of setting the brass part with the small o-ring into the block to help guide the o-ring into the groove (endocamera here sure is nice and I say indispensable if you do this at home ) . Because you can go too far here as it will allow the o-ring into the area where the washers are also located , don’t ask how I know this part - pays to keep a stockpile of o-rings around for just encase times like these . I put the pinched side down towards the indention that the ring sets in working it down with the stick until it goes in , which can be quick or can be 2 evenings depending on you luck and chance . I believe you do get better at it with practice and the endo canera here becomes the best $30 bucks you ever spent this week- anyhow .
It does seem that if one o-ring blows before it’s finally said and down atleast one more pops or gets damaged taking apart or assembling the rifle . In 4 yrs ownership this is the 2nd foray into o-rings so probably not too bad but the rifle did have to go back to the service center one trip for repairs beyound my skill level plus I had to replace a receiver due to exploration and modifications , not a good idea .
I also noticed this hot weather sure tests out a compressor . Everytime I do o-ring repair I end up needing a couple tank fill-ups or top offs because of going thru air getting everything put back together plus a few opps along the way .
Seriously , you really do need a good assortment of o-rings on hand . Im trying to keep 2 or more o-ring sets for every gun unless you like tearing apart and waiting for parts . I’m learning this secret the hard way a-couple times already . Now trying to stock up on Gx compressor parts for the eneventable break down . I also try to do refills usually inside the a/c house and even here I use a 20” box fan trying to preserve compressor life and moisture issues .
