Thanks, Weevil. I was just thinking perhaps a little bit of PTFE tape might work to keep metal off metal. I'll shoot AirMaks an email.

Also, on another note, I appreciate your time and effort working out the Caiman X regulator issue. I intend to perform that fix on mine in the near future

Google Micheal’s lock, stock and barrel in Alabama. He’s done several repairs for me and I’ve bought a few restorations from him including one this morning, a Benjamin 312. His work is excellent.

Oh ya, that one now has the .25 700mm barrel on it. I go back and forth on that gun depending how my gun A.D.D. is going.

Really fine abrasive paper 3000 grit, all contact surfaces including the id’s. Key words, all contact surfaces.

Anyone having any luck with slugs? Preferably say from 70 grains up to 125. What ya know??

Apparently they changed and put the orings in the block so they could increase the internal diameter of the valve housing.
Hopefully I have the parts I need coming.

I just ordered a .25 HW90, want to chop barrel to 9-12” and have a tight slip over shroud to reach out maybe 14-16” total. I think it’ll look better than the 19.69” barrel, and it’s going to help with hold sensitivity since it’s out sooner.

Im waiting on a 9 twist barrel too ..Casting lots of slugs and learning alot..

I have a DAQ Bandit 50cal that Dennis recommended using round ball in but I found some Hunter Supply 185gr? that shoot great in it so I would say the right slug in .375 should work great also, it seems the collar button style works.

Thanks for the heads up. That will be fine since I only have a few yards to work with. Once I go out to the field more I could change to the full power spring.

I asked Black Arts Design about making a barrel band with a threaded lower band for a sling stud, but they said they couldn't do it. I also asked another company that makes a similar barrel band and they said the same. I think the only way is to get a bottle clamp, like the one made by Sabre Tactical and then add a rail clamp and sling stud for the front. The Element Max rear stock has a slot at the toe of the butt that should work for the rear attachment, though you'll have to thin it slightly to make it short enough for the quick release swivel to fit through it. That's probably what I'll do for mine as I like slings too.

Beeman R9 .22 That was professionally tuned by Flying Dragons when it was brand new, see picture below with all the services that was done to it.
The rifle has one little tiny pressure mark on the left side of the forearm, it didn't know it was there until I took the pictures. The gun is very accurate and looks like new.
