Snowpeak  Snowpeak M60B .357

Hi here is some information on my M60B 357 cal
got out today and shot the Snowpeak M60B I set the reg at 175bar the hammer spring 1-1/2 turns in from flush with receiver with 3600psi fill. 20 yards it shot just one hole than moved out at 60 yards shot 1-1/2 for 12 shots With FX 81gr 35 cal pellet. the Airgun is short quite and a decent price the trigger is very good And at this setting its getting 24 shots at around 75-77foot pounds before it goes off the regulator.i know I could probably run it up to 90-100 foot pounds And get one mag but it really shoots well and is quiet at this level. Here is the shot string look at the extreme spread it’s pretty good. This was the first time out with it and I am impressed with the build quality and simplicity so far. Not a powerhouse but I like it

New For The SKOUT Epoch: STUD Announces .177 Caliber Mag/Loader/Feeder System

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STUD Loading Solutions Introduces .177 x 34 Round Magazine/Loader/Feeder System for SKOUT Epoch Airgun

STUD Loading Solutions, a leading name in innovative airgun loading systems, is thrilled to announce the latest addition to its lineup – the .177 x 34 round magazine designed exclusively for the "game changing" SKOUT Epoch. This cutting-edge magazine aims to revolutionize the SKOUT experience by addressing key issues associated with factory magazines.

One of the standout features of the new .177 x 34 round magazine is its roller bearing/stop lug design, eliminating the need for excessive winds to pretension the rotor. Unlike traditional magazines, this solution from STUD Loading Solutions ensures a smooth and hassle-free loading experience without compromising the integrity of the delicate pellet skirts.

The tension mechanism in the magazine is notably "linear," providing consistent and reliable performance through its 350 degree rotation. This ensures that each shot is indexed with consistent precision, contributing to an enhanced magazine experience.

In rigorous testing, the magazine proved its versatility by accommodating both slugs and standard (shorter) pellets like 8.44's with the factory supplied "pin probe". The larger diameter section of the probe engages and supports the rotor effectively, minimizing the risk of skirt damage during cycling. The magazine of course accept any slug or pellet up to 14mm in length.

STUD Loading Solutions is proud to extend its product range for the SKOUT Epoch, now offering magazines, loaders, and feeders for calibers ranging from .177 caliber through .30 caliber. STUD also has designed STUD Loader/Feeder/DTM system to work with this new line of SKOUT magazines. Note: the STUD loader/Feeders will NOT fit the existing SKOUT factory magazines.

"We are excited to introduce the .177 x 34 round magazine for the SKOUT Epoch. Our commitment to innovation and quality shines through in this latest addition to our product lineup," said Doug Hepler, Owner at STUD Loading Solutions.

Diana  Diana P5 German

the only pistol Diana make is the LP8
it is based on the previous pistols but has a totally new look and the trigger assembly is unique to the pistol
the trigger components and the quality of the pistol is top notch
but it has it's short comings
it is very big and it is heavy and the trigger is very poor for us trigger snobs like myself
i completely rebuilt mine to the point it is as good as a target pistol
there is the LP8 with a Beeman P1 and Diana model 6
those are Ultra Dot Red Dot sight

HW/Weihrauch  HW30/R7 barrel info needed

The actual barrel in the breech block is Screwed on the front with that star nut then knurled pressed in With sleeve retainer.

You will need to make a socket to get the nut off and will need enough heat to discolor the breech block and a press with a jig to fit the breech seal area

Not a easy job . Your much better off buying a new barrel and breech all in one.

Taipan  Taipan air tube

You can CLOCK the fill/gauge end, but Not the tube itself as it all tightens / rotates getting the breech block end snugged up.
The vent hole ends up where ever things tighten up at. It is a NON ISSUE ;)

Thanks for confirming. Been a while since I've had a need to go that deep.

FX wildcat mk3 bt vs taipan veteran 2 compact

I have a Mk3 BT Sniper. Three years in and no problems with it but as others stated they do have issues. Minor POI shift, first couple shots slow after sitting a while, have to be careful about bumping the barrel. If you're going to use it in scenarios where you can take a minute to dry fire a few times and check zero it's a really good air rifle with tons of upgrades and modularity.
I bought it for farm and garden pest control where I need to be able to grab it at a moment's notice and work. Needless to say, for that it has replaced by another brand. For target shooting with the wife it's perfect and still see's good use to that effect.

Vortex Strike .25 testing results in the wind

I played with them again today in the freezing cold and got 1 inch groups with a couple fliers at 35 yards. Sometimes I get a good group going then it goes to hell. Not saying they are good pellets by any means but if your just plinking spinner targets they will do. The other deals I saw posted for Fx pellets are even better to than this.

HALO ARE OUT!!!!

I am going to make a couple of assumptions here (yeah, I know the saying about assuming things):
- You will need a new barrel liner to get the most out of the Halos
- The new barrel liner will most likely be only "OK" for pellets. (Thus making pellets obsolete. Lol)
- The Halos will be a bit more expensive than pellets but a bit cheaper than a lot of the slug offerings (maybe just under the price of NSA's?)
- There will be a bunch of "must have" parts, gadgets, and gizmos that come out over the year after the Halo's are released to "get the most" out of your Halo / rifle combo.

Should most/all/part be true - especially needing a new barrel liner - I'm gonna PASS.
They better come in under 1 cent a round in 22/25
