Finally BUILT MY OWN dream Hunter Class rifle!

Dang, you FT boys sound like a mixture of WWE wrestlers and Nascar drivers with all the $hit talk you boys muster
Kinda makes me wish I lived out west.
ANG you build some really wicked airguns. Vintage, but cool.
Thx
Ray

In Texas smack-talking is taken to an art form (of sorts). In fact you gotta be pretty good at it to avoid gunfights. 😳

If you're ever in Texas Ray, I'll buy you a beer at the Quick Draw Saloon.😰

Krale Air Shipping

Krale has good people who practice good customer service, I'd never hesitate to shop again. Used Pirate Ship from Florida, IIRC around $95, Krale asked for $45 to return ship, not surprising their rates are better. .30 sounds like a sweet gun, be tempted myself, think I'd ask for considerations on future purchases, for the inconvenience. WM
Yeah, I won't bring it up, but if they offer it, I won't decline. I'm technically getting a slightly more expensive gun anyway, $80 more for the wood stock over synthetic.

Tuning  HATSAN factor sniper L .22cal

Just keep in mind that Diablo shaped pellets generally like to shoot between 800 to 925 fps. No matter the brand it seems. That’s why you really need a chronograph. Hatsans, at least mine, tend to shoot slugs well. You can crank up the speed with these. Seems that a lot of air gunners talk down about Crosman pellets, but all of my guns, and I have more than just the Hatsans, shoot the premiers really well. You just have to tune for them. One thing that will help with the trigger is proper tuning. More spring tension=heavier trigger. Lower the hammer spring tension and raise the reg pressure until you find that sweet spot between speed, trigger pull, and air efficiency. I get a lot of pleasure getting budget guns shooting like high end ones.

Poll Time - What do you like to do with your airgun?

Sounds like a blast how did you get permission did you just drive up there and ask did you call before going I'm curious I live in Massachusetts and I really want to get into pesting.
Both places, I just asked if they had a problem with chipmunks, squirrels and ground hogs nibbling on tubing. They were able to get destructive permits from the DNR to allow year round hunting of those critters. Fortunately they are a short drive from my residence. I made sure to let them know it would be a quiet air rifle, I would call before showing up if they preferred and would not shoot toward any structures and would come alone.
I would like to get permission at a dairy farm to help control sparrows, starlings, grackles and pigeons but they are a bit of a drive and I’m kinda spoiled by the two maple syrup permissions.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Taipan Veteran .177 Compact

Like new .177 compact. Purhased new in June 2023. I've added a picatinny rail. Includes everything it came with plus the mag holder as shown in the photo. Only change I've made is reducing the hammer spring a bit. It's shooting JSB 10.3's in the 870's getting over 80 shots with a 240 bar fill. Great shooting airgun. $1000 shipped PP F&F or buyer pays fee. Scope and bipod not included

170+ yards with .20/18.9grain NSA

Thank you. Yes, this slug/barrel combination is excellent.

That last photo in the original post has the supporting system. Just a cheap clone bipod in the front, with a home made bag in the back. Plastic fold out table.

It can be seen better in this photo. Nothing fancy.

This is a practical set up for stability.

I am shooting my "long range" Wolverine R HP in .177 in the "pretzel" position with a short tripod supporting the forend. The advantage is high mobility and I can clear low branches in an orchard (just most of the time). The downside is I can see my heart beat with a 14x scope! I tried out my buddy's fancy rest, and the group size shrank.

Thanks for sharing! I may make a very short "table" so I can still shoot in the "pretzel" position, but with a stable arm support surface.

Other  Pistols for "FIELD TARGET" .... share your Factory or Exotic pictures of them !

I just got a pathfinder from Derrick tonight…I will be mounting a scope on it tomorrow and hope to get it sighted in. There is the “Crusty Critter” as I call it, pistol shoot on Tuesday I plan on shooting at. I shot Derrick’s pistol at Textreme last year and it is nice.

I have decided to also join the Tenacious BRK Pathfinder Pistoli club! Hope to be shooting it this DEC at TEXTREME
