Well said......As far as the seating chamfer goes, concentric, clean and smooth is the key. The chamfer can be 10° to 15°. But the chamfer should be "on...the barrel centerline" (concentric is the key word). As noted, it should also be smooth, burr free.
As far as the other end !
Angles aren't any sort of big deal...at all. You can ever put a "round" crown at the end of the barrel if you like. A lot of work to do well, but...
Chamfer Accuracy / concentricity...IS a big deal ! If the chamfer (crown !) is not square to the barrel centerline, neither will be the flight of the pellet.
The gas (air in this case) NEEDS to leave the barrel evenly with and around the pellet. If the chamfer is offset, or angled, the air will not leave with the pellet squarely and "evenly", and most likely push the pellet off center.

Those were made by TAYLOR Instruments years ago ... sadly there no longer made, or found where sold with past similar inquires ???Scott what is the pressure gauge on your pistol and where can I purchase one? Thanks
Isn't that the truth,....Generational leap, great term to describe it.Let’s not be too subtle guys. The GK1 is a generational leap in PCP pistols. It will outshoot many compact bullpups both in terms of power and accuracy, and double/triple tap in a way that Leshiy 2 owners (including me) dreamed about before they were rudely awakened by its trigger.
Thank you sir! Very much appreciated.Yes it does have the sling stud on pic rail.
Yeah. Wire reticle. Etched glass way better.Cool old Weaver but it wouldn’t last 5 shots on a magnum springer…..even when new
Yes. I have the tactical with tube. No mods. Thanks for that.
Yes, that is good groups, no matter what rifle is used.
Is your rifle standard?
Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't clear, there is a hill that makes a great backstop, there is a path that goes up around it, I attach targets to the kids bikes and scooters, quite a bit of fun but the parents seem to have an issue, weird huh? As for the neighbor, she keeps thinking I'm shooting at her, might have something to do with her costing me half a million dollars, that's another story though.Sounds that you have it figured out. Keep on insisting with you neighbor, he might agree to let you shoot through his kitchen. As far as the kids in the park ask them politely if they can hold that yellow target you posted above their heads at around 75 yards. Over their heads should be safe enough. Out of respect for their parents make sure to let them know your intentions. It should all work out. Let us know how it goes. Can't wait to hear news. Take care!
