N/A  TalonP VS. Temp

I have one and it has more than than 50fps for sure
ive been experimenting with power settings, and It seems so far that if I Lower the power (and add an O-ring behind the top hat) the cold doesn't seem to have a huge impact on POI, the FPS does drop a bit, but the POI is still about the same.

FWB  FWB65

Very cool pair of 65's! The gun was sold as a sport pistol in Europe with the plastic grip panels as standard. I don't think Beeman ever offered them here, preferring to make the pricier wood a "mandatory option," lol. The plastic ones are high quality and very comfy, though.

The 65's action has no plastic beyond the seals, but the two main frame and receiver components are high-quality alloy castings. The only sizable exterior blued steel parts are the barrel, cocking lever, and rear sight housing.

.22 NINE pellet test using Air Arms S410

They are the same except for whether or not they have the magazine feature.

Thanks for your post.
S400 single shot, bolt action
S500 single shot, lever action
S410 magazine fed, bolt action
S510 magazine fed, side lever

The older 400 series rifles also had a different shroud that was a smaller OD.

Air Arms  Any Air Arms S510 owners here?

My S510 .22 carbine is my favorite air rifle. No leaks Or problems ever. Most Important to me is Air Arms doesn’t bend over backwards to make my investment look outdated to sell me a new gun.

Just old-fashioned walnut and steel!

FX  Fx streamline, Fx quality?

Very interesting. This rifle appears to have gone to one of the few people who could find and fix the problem and end up happy with the it. Since it was apparently under warranty, I expect I would have returned it. I'm sure that your special tool and process precludes an accidental full-charge escape of air, but placing my finger over the end of a charged rifle while tinkering with the valve would make me nervous. But I assume that you know what you're doing and are not taking undue risk. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Hi, this is a very controlled way of releasing the air. The setup eliminates any risk to myself or the rifle. Also should anyone want to try this you ONLY place your finger over the barrel when you have a steady release underway. And I would definitely not recommend this procedure on ANY pcp that has no regulators fitted.

Airgun Technologies  AGT Uragan 2, Threaded Barrel?

I have the uragan 2 and the vet one.

The uragan 2 has 8 big grub screw securing the barrel at intervals, with machined flats at those spots. Nothing is going to move that barrel, so I'd say it's much over muchness really.

What was said about the metal on metal contact and no barrel orings at the transfer port is true, but the tolerances on all the the guns I've come across are so tight that along with the pressure from the securing grub screws, there has been zero air leak at the breech during the shot cycle.
Thank you for the info!

Big Game Hunting

So the entire reason I got into shooting air guns was hunting. I used firearms for the majority of my young teenage years and eventually graduated to muzzleloader and traditional flintlocks. Up until 4 years ago I was an avid archery hunter starting with an old hand me down bear compound and then went to a handmade trad bow. For me the Airgun is something new and exciting and something else I can tinker with and customize. There isn’t a ton of info out about ballistics and every air gun is wildly different from the next and the assortment and customization opportunities of ammo was very attractive to me. To date I’ve harvested 6 deer, 3 hogs and my daughter took her first deer with my Evanix Rex .45 cal! It’s been incredibly rewarding and fun!

Muzzle brake for my .457 Texan Carbine (I bought one)

So I have had my .457 Airforce Texan Cabine with carbon fiber bottle and tx2 valve for a few years and love it. I love the weight and shorter size but it sounds like a cannon. So I bought a Donnyfl Emperor to tame it down. And it did quiet the beast down quite a bit but it is so freaking long now and looks ridiculous. The gun actually was more consistent and accurate with it on but it was hard to manuever Especially in my elevated blinds. So I asked around about a muzzle brake and someone recommended Witt Machine and Tool company. So I made a special order online December 26th. There was also a special discount code bringing the purchase price under $100 including tax and shipping. They custom made my brake which will fit my Donnyfl threads. The product was at my door in under 2 weeks. It also came with a crush washer but i had to use a rubber o-ring to get it positioned correctly. I was able to test it last week and I am very happy with it and would recommend them to you. With the porting on the brake it seemed to tighten up my groups and keep the shorter barrel from rising. This will definitely be on my gun all hunting season and the Donnyfl will be on during slug testing and general range time. I will be ordering more for other airguns and firearms as well. They even have clamp on models for guns with no threads. If you are thinking about it check them out. I have no interest in the company but wanted to tell you about my experience. Oh and by the way it looks really cool too!

Introduction

On east side
Me too. I’m in Spokane Valley. I moved from up north in Elk about eight years ago. Used to be able to shoot anything on my property though I always gave the neighbors a friendly warning when I was gonna bring out the 50 Cal , didn’t like scaring their dogs.
I retire next month so I will have a lot of time to shoot and enjoy the hobby more.
