Have you competed in an airgun competition?

"have" shot some FT but it has been a minute or so ago (around 7 years)
Started at Brad's TVA club in Huntsville, then the Good Ole Boy's club (Playground of Champions, took me about 10 matches to ask, "well we had 6 National & World champions here today" , and just THE nicest folks) got to attend the TN State, Nationals & Worlds at Roz's. And the Invicta Club in Minor hill, placed somewhere in one of the State matches with a HPA QB78 . And Widder Stevens for a few shoots. 3rd place hunter at the GOB 2008 TN State match using a Chuntsman in .22 (full length HW barrel) the best grouping pellet was the 15.9g so fairly low fps.

FT is the most fun you can legally have and teaches so much. BR can be fun but only if there is enough wind to keep it interesting.

Air Venturi  avenger "losing" its tune?

Not after 200 rounds. Plus a dirty barrel isn't causing big swings in fps. His regulator is likely failing.

Or

Your chronograph isn't reading correctly. How far away from the Chrono are you holding your muzzle?

Still it's prob the reg, considering the swings in fps coincide with the inaccuracy.
im almost thinking its the chronograph at this point and chalking the accuracy up to wind. its a cheap amazon bagel clamp style chronograph and it was incredibly sunny out today to the point where reading the screen was difficult at times. im going to test it out more and ill update you on my findings for sure.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Umarex Notos with .22 Liter air tank, magazines and single shot trays

** SOLD less than 1 minute after posting the ad**

I purchased this .22 cal Umarex Notos pistol/carbine new last September. It is well made and very quiet. The 10-shot magazines cycle smoothly with the side lever. A magazine of test shots with 18.13gn Diablo pellets averaged about 680f/s or 18.4fpe.

In November I sent it to Firewalker on this forum to have the original small air cylinder replaced with a .22 Liter 4500psi carbon fiber bottle and 2200psiregulator as shown in the attached pictures. The rest of the gun was left unchanged. The sale includes an original magazine and single-shot tray, plus a couple of nice after-market magazines, a hinged single-shot magazine, and a padded Bulldog carry bag to hold everything.

This is an accurate and quiet airgun and surprisingly lightweight, easy enough to use as a pistol with the rear stock removed. The overall setup reminds me of the HW44 used to have. My cost for everything, including the HPA tank conversion, magazines and carry bag, was about $600.

The asking price is $350 which includes shipping within the continental US. PayPal only. No counter-offers or trades accepted, I'm getting out of airguns over the coming year.
I can usually get to UPS within three days of receipt of payment and will post the tracking info for the shipment as soon as I get it myself.

Thanks for looking.

Resources  Be a Better Field Target Shooter in 15 minutes- Troyer scale with Brad Troyer

Very good video. Troyer rating is not a be all to end all BUT it is a great tool for match directors. Prior to the Troyer System I just used average target distance to gauge my course difficulty from match to match (I/we never set up the same course twice). Troyer is a way way better way to compare course difficulty AND it is fairly simple to use. It also keeps us from making the courses too difficult which I personally feel is very important.

Traditional Rifle  NLA UMAREX SYNERGIS .22 UNDERLEVER - MULTISHOT - BRAND NEW IN BOX, NEVER SHOT ! $180 free shipping OR trade for a modified Crosman 1322 pistol

I bought 2 of these brand new from Umarex about 1 year ago. One was for me and the other was for my son. I took mine out of the box and sighted it in and let my son attempt to cock the underlever , but it was a bit to difficult for him and I ended up buying him another type air rifle , so his was never taken out of the original box .

This is brand new, still in all original packaging , never been shot or taken out of box.

These are very powerful and I find them to be accurate and the self loading system is reliable as long as you operate it properly and I think its important to only use pellets that are not deformed/ have damage skirts.

I paid $240 each { including shipping/taxes} . Im asking $180, with free shipping for the brand new one { im keeping my used one } since I dont need 2 of these and I could use the funds for a new airgun project. I would also consider trading this for a Crosman 1322 pumper that has been modified to shoot faster { longer barrel, valve mod, etc} .

I can only ship within the U.S. and shipping will be thru UPS and I wikl provide a tracking number. I will ship quickly ! Payment thru paypal only. I am a very honest person and have been selling on ebay for 18 years with 100% positive feedback. I can provide you that ebay info if you need / want that information.

Here is a link to the air rifle , if you wish to read its specs.

We got extra paint guys. Have at it.

Man, I sure hope the EPA don't show up there. They'd probably confiscate the yard and turn it into a Super Fund site due to lead contamination. I bet you've shot a bazillion pellets out there, lol, Always expect to see an elf or leprechaun to show up out there. Looks like natural habitat.
