Rebuilding that reg is super easy. Not worth sending back. The YouTube video is good. I would call A of A and see if you can source some orings from them. They are out and have been out of the ready made rebuild kits for that Huma reg but they may be able to set you up from some in house supplies or at least get you all the sizes.

We had to cancel our last couple of matches because of really lousy weather but we were able to have our February Match. Very low turnout, which was probably because of the colder weather and the rain that was forecast for the day (which blew North and missed us). The wind was really tricky on match day so the scores were lower than usual.

I believe that it's the latest XTRIII and the XTR Pro are the only scopes made 100% in the USA.
Most, if not all of their other scopes are made in the Philippines using Japan parts (mostly). However, ALL scopes are tested in Greenley, CO.
Again, they are decent scopes with good glass. I don't own one but have looked through many.

Yep some milsurp that won't fit in the safe and stuff I am cleaning up, carcanos, vetterli, swiss k31 & 11 and a m91 mosin. Some of those old long milsurp are tough to fit in safes they are so long.

@Privateer That's actually a decent idea. Do you think that the leverage of the cocking action would be affected greatly due to that sort of simple design change?

The only thing that might happen would be the Texas Airgun Expo at Arlington Sportsmans Club. After returning in 2022 from a couple years Covid cancellation, It did not happen in 2023 due to lack of industry commitment(s).

I have had at least half a dozen on those little scopes. I loved the 10x24 best. But now that I can't see without glasses, I can't use the 10 x or 14 power one. I still use the 5 power ones with a bit of eye relief and glasses work. I sold my 14 but kept a couple of tens in case I get eye surgery & maybe someday I can use them again.

The moulds have a life cycle expectancy, can't confirm what that would be with material as lead, but with plastic is about 2-3x 100 thousand cycles is a norm and the mould need to be re-dressed or serviced or replaced. Material is wearing out because of temperature expansion and high pressure and core-cavity is banging together... Along this wear cycles there are the dimensional variations that we see.

You're not wrong, it's a ball ache getting an FAC over here (I've had mine for 15 years or so) and whilst my R/F, C/F and .25 Impact are essential tools, for down time.....its sub 12 all the way
