Airforce  New 2024 Talon Bolt Carbine - Tested

I'm interested in how these perform in the field on game. Still looking for a video of the carbine version.
Talon Bolt Review and Hunt

When Ton said, "You can tell I'm out of breath. I'm not made for walking and stalking. I need a cheeseburger," I got a good laugh out of that!!
This was very educational especially considering the nature of the shot and the explanation of what occurred internally after the shot. I don't want to type too much and spoil it before you watch.

Talon Bolt Carbine Review

The Ultimate Backyard Range

I work for a heavy equipment dealer and when we change our cutting edges on buckets I will cut the old edges down and make steel targets out of them. They hold up to large powder burners great as most quality edges are AR steel, so will last a lifetime with airguns. Long as You've got a way to cut them u could probably get them for free from a local equipment company.

Nikon 3x9 EFR Target Scope--Suitable for Magnum Air Rifle?

Just wondering what the brethren has to say about using this scope (the Nikon 3x9 Target EFR model) on a magnum air rifle? They are supposedly airgun rated, but.... Are these really up to the task, or should I look for something else? I HAVE used these scopes on regular (powder burning) .22 RF rifles, and I really like them and have nothing negative to say for THAT venue. But, a magnum air rifle (this one is a Gamo Hunter Extreme PRO/.22 cal) can be pretty hard on scopes, so just looking for any opinions for that usage.
I have the same airgun (was just shooting it today) and use a zero-recoil mount. For the power the gun puts out, it seems very mild mannered as far as recoil. I still dont want to find out if it kills scopes though.

HW/Weihrauch  Hw 45 ques..

I have routinely tuned the HW45/P1 variants up to 590/600 fps..dangerously close to the UK limit with Wadcutters.
Usually employing a slightly heavier Dome of 8 grains typ, sees this drop slightly into comfortably legal territory (for me UK) but still running 570 fps.
I would strongly suspect you have a broken coil...or 3 , and or the piston head is not sealing.

You can easily re seal a non sealing head by dry firing a few times to get it to fatten out slightly to cylinder walls.
Worth a try and will not damage the gun as it's not a parachute seal which might damage used this way...
Don't make habit of it. If after a 2 or 3 dry fires it's not improved you will need to go inside for that spring...

The 45/P1 is not a bad gun but that mainspring at the distal end needs a bit of piston weight to prevent piston bounce (forget Tinbum kits) and then using a small Top hat at the muzzle end to prevent the mainspring flailing at the unsupported end.
It's a careful balance but can be made to perform if you know what you are doing....
Use a fast start pellet to minimise that bounce if you cannot manage my above tune methods yourself.

I have tuned 40 since the mid 80s

Gamo  First thoughts on my new Arrow!

So just to let everybody know, I ordered the wood version of the Gamo Arrow. There's been some talk about it being set up a little differently than the synthetic version and after shooting it I believe that. I ended up returning mine because it was not consistent I don't know what they tweaked inside but it absolutely didn't work so I want everyone to be aware of that.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Fx wildcat

I have an fx wildcat mk3 .25 compact...its almost brand new...less than a year old and rarely shot just because I have other guns...so just going to get rid of it...I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a scratch on it and it's never been taken apart...its all stock with no mods done comes with a fill probe and 2 16 shot factory mags

‼️ Deal Alert ‼️ Predator GTO Pellets .25 - On Sale @ Utah Airguns $17.99 per tin

@MrP When some people shop around for things pertaining to their hobbies, they usually want quality and the best deals. Even if that means doing a little math. If a sale price is not actually reflecting significant savings or the best price then places like the AGN forums are great for us to put our heads together and figure out where to find suitable bargains.
Yes, of course I understand the idea of buying in bulk. I’m just talking about the MO of marking things way up and then offering so-called discounts. That’s not the same as offering a fair price with discounts for buying in significant volume.

A day in the finishing room. Blasting and blueing.

I wish I was a fly on your wall to watch your procedure. Not to replicate, but just watch. Nice work. Crow
If you were close your welcome to watch, learn, and do..
This hobby is full of egos and so called secrets that many think if they tell them ,their giving away their value..
Where in it’s actually killing this sport. Many a great tuning men have left this world to not share their knowledge with others or the youth ,only to lessen the appeal of this great sport.. THERE IS NO MONEY IN TUNING AIR RIFLES. ENOUGH FOR BEER AND FUN.. KIT DROPPING IS NOT TUNING..

I have no secrets. I can tell you my grandmothers cookie recepie, making them like she does is another thing.
