I've got a Sidewinder and while I think it's an awesome gun, if I were looking for something to kill coyotes with covertly at night I would choose something else. The Sidewinder is just inherently loud and while you can make it significantly quieter than stock, it's always going to be way louder than other air rifles of a similar power level just due to the nature of its action. Second, a Sidewinder is expensive. It's about $2200 for the rifle, but you'll definitely want an adaptor for the muzzle and a good moderator as well and if you opt for additional mags, they're $150 each on a good day.

I'd go with a bolt or side lever myself. You can work the action on those very quickly and there are literally dozens of rifles out there that are in your price range and up to the job.

I still love with this scope. I keep swapping it to other rifles that I shoot that have other scopes. The 4k recording is amazing; the 52X zoom is crazy, and the build quality is over the top.

1st post mentioned it retailing at 400 which is the same price as the saber tactical pro mount. Hoping to see the available adapters and how it may work with other guns.

if anyone has video of any of the various airgun booths, it would sure be nice to see them.. so far I have only seen Barra and umarex, although I don't think they showed everything in the umarex booth.. but they are not the only airgun brands.. so it seems like ether. not much new or just not out yet..
oh I did see one hatsan zelos PCP pistol.. if I remember the name correctly..

Yes, several.. works great, almost any optic will do good on a PCP.. it’s that reverse recoil of the big springers that eat scopes in a few shots..

I am looking for a supplier for an Air Venturi Wingshot shotgun parts. I picked up a used single tube Wingshot that the PO got water in the air tube. It rusted the air tube and fill plug threads together and started leaking. He stripped the threads on the plug while trying to take it out. The tube threads are still clean. I ordered a plug from PA. But it’s the wrong one. It was for a Seneca. But for a Sumatra-8. It looks identical but much smaller in diameter. My bad. I just took a chance as it was the only place that I could find one. I did put a call in to Air Venturi. But haven’t heard back. Are there any other places that I might get the air tube plug? I would also need the oring, plastic plug and roll-pin that goes into the plug. Thanks guys. Darrell

in reality what you what is not made there are some that can be made to take a reflex but not easily done
i have taken a Gamo Pr-776 and epoxied and a weaver rail on it but some machining needed to be done
a Smith and Wesson 586-686 can have a mount installed but again the one that were made for them are long gone and you have to use your imagination
you can look on Pryamyd Air like has been done

It was not that great. The barrels have a very tight choke. I ordered a barrel from Canadian Shooters Supply, polished the heck out of it,and now it almost pellet on pellet at 50 yds. I’m gonna back the hammer spring down as the first shots are over 1000fps. It will help save air and take stress off the valve pin. The 700cc bottle really helps with shot count. Im going to work on that stock barrel,and see if a very heavy polish with a higher grit in the choke area will salvage it. Grass.. Oh P.S. It’s a loud rifle. My Donnyfl Ronin helps quite a bit. But my always interested neighbor (nosie) , said it’s louder than my other rifles. It’s moving a massive amount of air in .30cal,so it’s to be expected tho.

It is accurate as these three CONSECUTIVE three shot groups at 40 yards attest. This rifle doesn't shoot any better than this with or without a moderator on any day. The rifle is tuned to 20 shots with an SD of 3 shooting H&N Barracudas at 940 fps. Definitely "MOC" (minute of critter).
