PCP Rifle  SOLD FX Crown MKII Three Calibers .177, .22, and .25

FX Crown MKII with three separate calibers. The .177 caliber has a Superior liner. The .22 caliber has a Superior liner with a carbon sleeve installed. The .25 caliber has an STX liner. Included in this package are a magazine for each caliber and the correct FX probes. There are two very small marks on the stock that I’ve shown in the pictures. I’m the second owner and when I received it, it had a small leak so I sent it to FX for a complete re-build. It has held without any issues since then. The tank is dated 2018/12. The last picture shows the Crown and accessories packed and ready to ship. The box is not an FX box. The two orange items are the barrels in flannel protective sleeves. This is an extremely heavy package so I’ll only ship to CONUS. I’m asking $1600.00 and I’ll pay for the insured shipping. PayPal friends and family is preferred but I’ll also accept a money order or a check with a hold for clearance.

SOLD STO Pugio moderator, .177 to .30

I have too many moderators and don’t use my Silent Thunder Ordnance Pugio very often.

Original cost to me in 2022 was $103 delivered.

Specs:
  • 103 grams
  • 100 mm length, 40 mm diameter
  • .177 - .30 caliber range
  • 1/2x20 UNF threading
  • Aluminum end caps (for durability)
It is an efficient little device. Sound levels using my .22 Avenger shooting 18.1 g at 907 fps (33 fpe); sound meter set at 3 feet to right of muzzle:
  • 110 dB no moderator
  • 98 dB with STO Pugio
  • 96 dB with STO Falx (170x40 mm, 180 grams)
Big difference in sound to shooter’s ear with vs without the moderators.

In perfect condition except for the tiniest, hard-to-see scratch on the side. And slight rub mark on the thread end where the Pugio contacted the muzzle adapter. I’ve tried to capture these in the pictures. Both marks can probably be polished out.

$65 delivered within CONUS. Paypal (F&F, otherwise add $3) or Zelle.

PCP Rifle  SOLD RAW .177 Martin made competition rifle

Bought this .177 RAW from a competitive shooter a couple years ago who won USARB nationals and other events. Made by Martin and comes with a Sightron 36 target scope. I'm not shooting it and it deserves someone who likes high level competition. $2200 includes scope. You can contact me directly at [email protected].

.22 pellets for 100 meter rings scoring?

I am shooting the MRDs at 970 in my Redwolf. From all the flier stories I think may just have lucked out and acquired an unusually consistent batch of the JSB MRDs. I am running very low on those and will soon have to dip into my stash of FX MRDs so will soon see if my JSBs were truly a unicorn batch.

Previous to the RW I had a .22 Prophet with the 1:32 twist barrel that I was shooting the same batch of unicorn JSB MRDs at around 1000. I never could get comfortable with that gun plus it had an unresolved mechanical issue with the breech so accuracy suffered and I can’t even say for sure if it had fliers.

I am looking forward to hear how the new “redesigned redesigns” work out.

Sounds like I was confused.

Thanks for clearing that up. That makes another polygonal .22 that likes the MRD in the 960ish range (970).

N/A  Shot Show has shown us...

Fewer China guns with magic marker anodizing and hit or miss, all the same quality from the same box factory, guns that do not leak and which are simple, powerful and accurate. Not into electronics that will not work ten years from now or even a few years from now. Lighter weight, stainless, titanium and aluminum. Guns meant to last and not be thrown away for the newest thing in a couple of years. My favorite all time rifle is a Marlin 1895 and a Marlin 39A. I have guns that are well over 100 years old, not just designed over a 100 years ago. Why should not air rifles have similar longevity.

PHA scores 1/27/2024

We had 8 shooters show up for the match. It was a warm day in with temperatures reaching into the 60’s. For all the shooters that thought it was going to rain you missed a good match. We shot a 15 lane match for a total of 60 points. I would like to thank all the shooters that showed up to make this a successful match..

Scores were

Vince Swicegood 52

N/A  BARRA is also coming out with a bottleless rifle too....!!!

And 3Crows, I don't know about JTS, but SPA (the maker of this particular Barra) make a well designed gun, with not bad materials at all. My P15 has a titanium air cylinder! The big problem with SPA guns is exactly what Giles found out in that video, piss poor assembly and finishing of parts. If you are willing to do the work and do what they fail miserably at, you end up with a really good gun. For all of you people reading this that are not willing to do that, I would highly suggest that you stay away. You will not be happy.

Thank you for the info. Some of these rifles are very cleverly designed but loose a lot in execution. So as you state, it sometimes takes after purchase TLC to clean them up. Yes, titanium is cool!

JG Airguns checkout impossible

Post Office no longer offers First Class mail for packages. Probably prompted by that, though Ground Advantage is also an option.
Exactly, last week I shipped a 4# package just that way. I don't have a problem using priority mail often it's the cheapest fastest option.
