Umarex  Umarex ZELOS (Details) New Airguns @ Shot Show 2024

Just as a FYI.. It actually shoots about 2ft/lbs harder than my 25 cal Uragan 1. The Uragan is still on stock regulator setting, etc.
I think these are good numbers and am pleased.
Remember this is a Umarex release and they don’t want a flop…. The delay in delivery is a good thing in my opinion. I recall the same situation with the Notos … and other than magazine issues it was a great success

I want to assume the zelos will follow suit

PCP Rifle  NLA Niksan Ozark-TW .22 cal PCP air rifle

SOLD pending funds

Hello everyone,

It is time for me to try another air rifle so I am listing my Niksan Ozark-TW .22 caliber for sale. I purchased this new from DonnyFL, November 20, 2023 and I have all of the original accessories including four (4) Magazines, Hard Case and the cardboard outside shipping box. It also comes with an extra “Heavy Spring and Hammer” that Israel replaced when he did a custom tune on the rifle. The rifle is in like brand new condition, holds air and is a very accurate shooter and I am adding a copy of a target that I just shot.

Price ( less Scope and Rings ) including free shipping to lower 48 states is: $440.00

I have this listed on my website so it can be purchased with a credit card.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

FX  M3 has a small leak somewhere

Sorry it’s leaking. The first time my Maverick had a leak and I couldn’t figure it out I sent it in to UA. While it was there I just decided to trade it in. Glad I did because 2 regs make things more annoying and time consuming with tuning and leak detection.
Just hope it wasn’t under warranty. Really the rapage from trade in is generally way worse than expense to fix then sell if you don’t like the gun. Under warranty would have only been cost of shipping.

HW/Weihrauch  HW35 1975 Vintage

To me the "Bayern" HW 35L is one of the loveliest air rifles of all time. And the best stock ever put on the 35 - the rounded fore end was made as narrow as possible, neatly masking the bulk of the 35's fat receiver tube; and it has perfect balance, making this heavy rifle seem much lighter than it really is.

My late mentor Professor Gaines Blackwell had a 35L with the interesting serial 350035 (!), which had absolutely THE most stunning piece of tiger-stripe walnut I've ever seen on a Weihrauch. I suspect it was a presentation piece for a special client or retiring employee, or some such. So Matt's is "only" the SECOND most amazing, LOL...!!! 😁
I remember that 35L of Gaines. I believe he passed it on to K Lentz. Agree it’s the nicest one I’ve ever seen. I’m just happy to have one that gets mentioned with it. Lol

Airmaks Krait X slug & speed choices

I just got a Krait X in .22 cal. I have just started tested Corbin Swaged Slugs at 50 yds. My first slugs were 30.9gr .217 diameter, and the longest I felt comfortable in the mag. The reg came set at 150Bar but had dropped off a bit to 147Bar after shooting 100 shots or so. I raised it to what ended up being about 155Bar and its around 952FPS. I had to tighten the hammer spring as it was only shooting 600fps after raising the reg. The wind was blowing some but I ended up with some ragged hole groups at 50yds, so I will keep working with this slug weight and see if its the magic one. I have already swaged some .218 in 31gr to see how it likes that diameter and plan to try them tomorrow. I hope everything breaks in and the extreme spread lowers, it was a bit high during initial testing. So far there is a lot of things I like about this gun and few I would change if I could, but I have my fingers crossed I will end up with a 100yd plus shooter with this one.

TSS #9 shot

Off EBay for $60 a pound. Not cheep! Making 300 gn in Air Venturi capsuls with 250 BBs of #9. Cost worked out to $2.50 a shot. Kind of pricy to shoot rabbits and squirrels with. But not an issue for turkey hunting. I posted pictures in the Discussion thread under what paper did you shoot today. Been making a lot of different paper capsules which I can load twice as much shot in. But only with #6 lead shot for practicing.
yeah i just use mine for turkey...most public land around here also requires non-lead shot anyway so...
