Huben  GK1 Perfected (v1 and v3 differences?)

Will do! I can dissassemble GK1 pretty much entirely, but fiddling with the barrel has been the only thing I didn't want to mess up haha.
Perhaps it's time to finally give it a try. Thanks!
When I first dissasembled I found out that the two alignment screws had gone loose, out of the four that hold the barrel assembly in place, so it pays to at least check, occasionally.
The easiest way to realign is to use a very tight fitting slug, half inserted in the barrel; I used altaros smooth 6.46, which has the added advantage of having a connical butt.

Benjamin bulldog 357

Only Benjamin Nosler Xtreme ...

RAW Rapid  Barrel length of new RAW ft pistol

Yes they are all glued together. If a shooter desires a shorter barrel for some reason, I recommend that they contact Martin Rutterford at Airguns USA to order that custom barrel and gun configuration. Once again, my FT pistol will shoot one ragged hole at 25yds and .175" CTC at 35yds, so I see no need to alter anything.
I'm sorry I guess I misunderstood that it was too long for your competition and I thought that was the only reason why you needed it shorter and I thought above that you couldn't get what you needed to compete, so I was just trying to help you figure out a way to get what you needed..
if it is ok for your competition then there's absolutely no reason to change it.
Mark

RAW Rapid  .20 TM 1000

Nice👍

Annoyingly, we can’t get the shorter chassis in the uk, it’s a shame because I am absolutely sure many Theoben Rapid owners would love to fit their Theoben blocks into one☹️

Bb
Such as this ;)
MFR at 12 fpe, barrel a 15" with slip on LDC.
Unscrew butt, Slide off LDC, Slide off hamster it becomes a Legal AAFTA FT Pistol

PCP Rifle  NLA Beeman 1358 action and functional CF shroud

Salvaged the parts I needed for my newest build, so the leftovers are up for sale.

Tube holds air perfectly. Barrel isn't picky at all, shoots crosmans and jsb very well. Finish isn't the best, but nothing major that couldn't be simply painted over.

Internals are all stock, barrel grub screws upgraded to 1/4-20 stainless. New barrel o-ring.

Has a functional carbon fiber shroud and an air stripper. Comes with 3 extra baffles so you can adjust to your liking. Plenty of length on the shroud to cut to desired length with your stock trigger/scope riser block.

Will also come with 2 magazines.

Perfect for tinkering for more power, or caliber swaps. It's worth it just for the shroud parts really.

FX  FX Dynamic .25 600 tuning problems

100 slugs is not enough to settle the gun usually. I generally will not attempt a serious tune until at least 500 shots down range and prefer to wait more than that.
With the Dynamic block all adjustments need to be in small increments. Much smaller than a lot of people are used to. A few bar or one click of the micro wheel can make significant changes.
How did you arrive at the settings you showed?
Were it me I would be starting with a lower reg pressure than 130, maybe 110 and the micro at around 2.5 and work my way up from there.

From what I've read the reg likes to be on the lower side. You could try starting out at 100 bar and slowly go up from there.
I will take this advice and move the Regulator down. The pressures I started at (130 came from a Panthera Video as did the 150) I'll also keep attempting to dial it in as the slug count goes up. Huge appreciation

RTI  Has anyone found a real fix for the prophet external regulator creep problems

This is not my reg but I put a shallow groove in the surface (red line) so the air can pass out from the central hole. It may be better if you could arrange the groove to be inline with the small exit hole in the block (see my previous pic).

Thanks. I’ll have to look at mine when I have it out next time. I think I can angle the output hole enough on the lathe to help it breathe into the little hole.

FX has a brand new product due soon, in March.
Its begining to look like you will be able to pick one up, brand new, with a synthetic stock, for $999, and still remain under budget.

How much is it with the wood stock? Because that is the sharpest looking gun I’ve seen

PCP Rifle  SOLD Snow Peak M60b .22 500 shipped

Snow Peak M60b .22

Shoots jsb redesigns like lasers and hits hard. Only had it about two months enjoyed hunting with it. Really just wanted to try out a budget gun and see how it measured up. Now with new toys on the way this one will get set aside.

The only change I made was bumping the reg up to about 150. This version has a foster fitting for fill instead of removing the bottle.

500 shipped. No trades

FX SLUGS

Certain 22 cal slugs will get wedged in the avenger barrel as its tighter than most guns for some reason.
But it also makes it accurate.
A 218 will not go through a 216 does and even that might be on the big side.
Hence start at 216 and go smaller if required samo.
Dont expect stunning results either first time round' you need to test different diameters and grain ' to find what works for your gun.
The avenger can shoot a slug well.
You shouldn't have to force the cocking arm at all why loading " but I also know from experiencing it myself the bigger slug will load quite normal but then refuse to leave the barrel.
Hope you find this helpful

FX  Ok $999 for the new FX in synthetic stock....

I am pretty happy being able to hold most of my shots on a 2" marker at those distances, but maybe i should man up and get some 1" ones too.

Also moving bench this year, so will be able to shoot out to 130 M something i am exited about but very much doubt a 2" marker can do it, so maybe 3" for that.

Both of these 2 groups shot at 86 M , that up / left shot, last one of course.
My only comfort is at least in both groups the deviation on those last shots seem the same.

[UPDATE] General Advice Dealing with Roll/Pins/Punches

Just for clarification, would you advise doing this by hand or with a power tool? I’m almost thinking it makes sense to do this by hand given the small scale
Either would be fine. I would advise using a small diameter countersink to avoid the upright ‘wall’ close to the hole. A variable speed drill would be fine and still give you the level of control you need.

A countersink cuts relatively slow so just check your progress as you go. It doesn’t appear like it will take much effort.

Dave

This is a 1/4” size that would work fine.

Kalibrgun  Changed the look of my Cricket

I made a suppressor and a thread adaptor for my Cricket rifle a while back and I just left the adaptor and end caps on the suppressor as machined. A couple days ago I powder coated the end caps and the adaptor and I think it looks much better now. I have tried several other suppressors on this rifle but for some reason it shoots the best with this one I made, it must be doing something with the harmonics of the barrel so it's definitely going to stay on it for now on....:)
