Wow, that's great shooting! I'm super jealous of your rig too. I wish I would have picked up one of those tacticals when they were available. I'm not a fan of the new style Veterans. Not sure I could do this again, but this is five shots from bucket and sticks @ 30 yards, shot a few nights ago.
The whole group is a bit right, with 1/5 a smidge left of the rest, but that hole will support one of the same pellets that made it.

Had a trap at 11, 30 and 55.
Three pellets went into the same hole @11 so I moved to 30, shot the five above and concluded that'll do, then moved on to 55 yards.
That heavy aluminum stock seems to have made this little rig easier to shoot. I think I'll have to campaign it at some of the summer ft matches this year.
Ice your shoulder 25 minutes on one hour off repeat often - no heat - I am a neuro muscular therapist so I know it will helpJust wanted to share my experience with my shoulder therapy. Couple of years ago I injured my shoulder from a fall. I think it is a rotator cuff injury, all I know is it can ache like a son of a gun. I have always been a barrel cocker or a pumper so I thought my shooting days were numbered. Anyway, I ran across info on shoulder braces for injuries or operation recovery. I ordered one online and must say it works for me. I’m 70 yrs old and can’t afford to get into PCP’s now. I hope this may help someone in a similar circumstance. Stay well all![]()
Will do.
Like the bottom of a coke can. I will be shooing them with a pcp rifle at about 850 fps with a stout back stop behind. Thanks for your interest. BillWell,,just how thick r these dingers you plan on using? And what r u shooting them with ? A pcp? springer?
It is Chinese and has no HW equivalent. As stated above, it is an exact copy of Norica's top of the line springer. The RS2 trigger is a copy of the Norica NATS trigger, except the silver RS2 trigger blade is cast, and the black Norica NATS blade is plastic. Parts can even swap between the guns.Hi Folks,
Does anyone know if this model was made in china or Germany?
Are they any good?
And what would the equivalent HW model be?
Many thanks
Pete.

A 22" pistol would be a handful!well you seem pretty sure we might see something soon.. I don't know seems like I got one of the second batches of umarex notos because I wasn't willing to pay for preorder.. and if I remember correctly it was a year after shot show it became available.. or it seems like that.. and they changed it too, was supposed to be a pistol or a little carbine.. and I guess lots of people like it, I now understand why it came out as a carbine and then it was not too much to get the factory pistol grips and open sights.. I have not handled this style before, I got it for a pistol with open sights but they made the moderator permanently attached to the barrel and it was a 22" long pistol.. maybe someone else can buy I couldn't shoot it freehand without resting the air tube on something.. so I finally got mine done, I shortened the barrel 4" and recrown and put a moderator in the shroud, lost around 100 fps but I didn't change adjustments just shortened the barrel.. but the moderator insert is so much quieter than the factory one and I thought the factory was quiet.. and it shoots a lot more accurate.. but I thought it was good from the factory.. possibly it didn't happen to have a good crown.. I don't know, just so much better now..
never planned on putting the stock it came with on but just to do it I took off the grips and slipped the stock on.. and it is impossible to get your eyes low enough to see the open sights.. so it would be a scope or red dot..
but I'm happy with it now.. although if I could get the air tube shortened I'd shorten it up to 12", currently it's 15.5 but a lot more manageable than 22" pistol.. I think it's why it didn't come both ways, I think they realized that with the moderator permanently attached people wouldn't really like it as a pistol.. and well if you have a stock on it you can't use the open sights..
so much can change even between the prototype show one and the final product.. look how they discontinued the bolt action gauntlet gen 2 and went to all side lever..

The auto record worked on my M3/Pard.@dens228 - I'll check today. That might be the case. I'm not use to the icons yet. I'll make sure it's off, but that will be quite a surprise if it works for air guns!
Also a note to Arken would be to not automatically turn the scope on when you plug the USB C into it! You can burn in an OLED screen.
I’ve enjoyed Discovery optics, my only complaint is the FFP at low magnification can be really difficult to see..
Time will tell. With a plenum, the pressure would remain stable, with the reservoir over the barrel and the pressure changes that naturally happen, I’m wondering how this would affect harmonics. The stiffness this system could add would be a big bonus though.
Wouldn't there be a wild change in pressure as you pull the trigger? I would think before and after a shot it's stable but during? What piece of info am I missing?
I think air pressure surrounding the barrel would be a good stiffener and damper, but I also think that the changing air pressure and expansion/contraction of the air cylinder during pressure changes "could" affect point of aim, especially from shooting session to session. As we've seen on some guns with solid barrel bands, bending of the air cylinder can cause poi shift problems.
Time will tell.
The barrel through plentum design, would be subjected to drastic changes after each and every shot, but always return to a consistant pressure. But i often see talk about air around barrel might induce POI change or at least fluctuations in POI, i can not see why that should happen, the air pressure are the same on all sides of the barrel, and drop just as fast on all side of the barrel when shots are made.
