New Hades Monsters????

TBH, the OG 15.89s work so well for me on small game out to 40yds, I really have no need to change. My pellet search has been over for years now (was it 2019 they came out? I can't remember...). When I get the itch to anchor some critters beyond 50yds, I switch over to a different setup for slugs.

I'm sure some people will find them useful, they just don't have a place in my kit.

But to be fair, I did switch over to the FX branded Hades just because they are cheaper, cleaner, and less damage to the skirts in the tin.
yeah I have also switched to the FX variant, they seem more consistent for me at least. im going to be setting up my gun for slugs here in the near future but I find myself in the situation where slugs just aren't appropriate, but I totally understand where you're coming from.

Tuning  FX Hammer Weights

I currently use the Huma 13.1 hammer in my Crown mk2 .25 600mm barrel and I'm having great success with it. With a power spring and the Huma 150 to 190 regulator, 168, the dwell is just quick enough not to waste air but can push my 33 gr. Zen slugs and the 33.95 RD pellets to high 900's .
For instance, with my power wheel setting on 12, the Zan 33gr slugs are fly 960 fps . Moving up in speed to find that super sweet spot for accuracy.
The 33.95 Re Designed are very accurate at 870 stacking them at 57 yards indicated in the picture.
I tried the fx slug kit with its monster hammer, but man oh man, really changed the feeling of the shot cycle and felt like i was destroying my Crown.
Does anyone use those real heavy hammers?

thanks- i was looking for this info!

Beeman  Tin Can Tie Tac

The plate itself is easy to make, and the flat head machine screw that you see on top is generic/easy to find. The problem is the under screw that the flat head screws into: unusual M5x0.5 thread pitch, and needs to have the center hole tapped. I'd guess it's pretty easy for a skilled machinist to make?
Hint for KWK...

Benjamin  Marauder help

OK Well I can not get to technical because I am not! After reading my own recorded data I came up with the Idea.I set air at max-spring at 1 1/4-hammer at 2 1/2=875 fps with ascending velocity to 895 in 10 shots. At this time I adjusted hammer in one turn and velocity went back to 875.Again ascending to 895 in 10 shots and then in with hammer 1/2 turn more back down to 875.I did not adjust any more and stayed 875 to 895 and finished at 50 t0 55 shots. The marauders are definitely individuals.A place to start. If this helps Great if not oh well! all with 14.3 crosman

Benjamin  Benjamin Bulldog M357 Modified

So I have a Benjamin Bulldog M357 with a Pitbull Depinger, Mega Moderator, barrel supports, and an AGM T25-384 Rattler Thermal Scope on it.

I got the Mega moderator instead of going with a regulated setup so that this would be quieter while hunting coyotes at like 1AM. Now I am thinking I should have gone with a Donny FL instead of the mega moderator because then I could have gone regulated. I have a few 6.8 Liter 4500 SCBA tanks, so I figured I would be tethered most of the time. The Mega moderator is not as quiet as I was thinking, I cant imagine the Donny FL would be much louder. I figured I would ask opinions on what the best moderator is, as well as who makes good regulated setups for the Bulldog.

I also heard there are ways to get more power out of it by enlarging a passageway, but I didn't look too far into it before I tore i apart to install the parts I have so far. So if I get rid of this mega moderator and go with a Donny FL, which one should I get. Also, what are my options for going regulated 4500 PSI on this? I saw pitbull has a package, but I am not sure who else makes the parts I would need to change it over.

Thanks
