Not a big fan of AEAs semi-auto lineup and I have no experience with their bolt-actions, but this pump-action Megalodon looks like a beast. 400ft-lb. .50 cal. 8 round mags. It's a proper shotgun, I mean.. damn. No price or release date yet as far as I'm aware. In fact, this seems to be the only video that exists of it so far.
The english presentation starts at 15:30:
I order my stuff from Mr. Hollow point and AEA recommends texoma I think is the name of the place. I ordered a 457 and was shipped a 50 cal by mistake. The place that screwed up sent me 100 -235 grain hollow points from the Tacoma place and I got them in my mail box 3 days later. Aside from that you can get .495 round lead balls made for muzzle loaders from Hornady. Those are 12 dollars per 100 shots , that’s like 12 cents a piece and they preform great in the rifle. They can’t shoot their 22’s and 25’s that cheap. Catch those in something and they could be melted down and recast into slugs. Air Venturi also makes a .495 185 grain hollow point that does good for 26 dollars for 50 of the pellets, those are more like a wierd pellet rather than a slug. But they shoot pretty good. I like plinking with the Hornady round balls , they cycle through the mag perfectly. Bluegrass bigbore might have spare mags.Anyone know where to get replacement mags? or the recommended AEA .50 cal slugs? everywhere says they are out of stock.
Ah yes. Ive been reading up on the PP750 which is a similar gun with right side cocking. Got them confusedThe Notos cocking lever is on the left.
The photos above show it on the left.
Accuracy with as much power as possible. Im confused on the adjustments as to why they look maxed out,if they are, and if there is a quick easy way to go up an down in powerMain question what are you trying to achieve?
Gosh darn! Super sweet incarnations, ultra covert pigeon or rat busters… Simply loving it…Is a russian bullpup, someone sell kits to assembled them.

I also use pistol scopes mounted forward on guns that would be hard to load under normal rifle scope placementI’m finding some recommendations from various sources but would enjoy reading suggestions for long eye relief pistol scopes from fellow air gunners. My candidates are the Diana Bandit, Chaser and P-5. Many thanks!
Very insightful my dudeAnother reason to start with a 22 is that most popular airguns seem to be designed as a 22 and then modified a bit to make 177 and 25 calibers. Valve size, size of internal passages, etc. are really designed for a 22 caliber but will work for the others - just not as well. I don't know if high end guns are made this way but I suspect at least some are. It would be too expensive to totally redo the gun by caliber. The consequence is the 25 will be less powerful than a 25 design optimized for the caliber. If you want to shoot 25 grain 25 caliber pellets I don't think it makes a lot of difference. But if you want to shoot 34 grain, it may be challenging to get them up to speed.
I have two 25 caliber PCPs, two 22 caliber, and one 177 caliber PCP. I like 25 caliber but my next gun will probably be another 22 caliber. I see it as the best all around choice. Enough power for clean kills on small game, lots of pellet choices to find one accurate in your gun including pellets unavailable in 25 caliber, and good performance on targets.
Larger calibers do have an advantage on benchrest type target shooting, however, since you need to touch the higher point line for the score. A slightly bigger hole gives you a slightly higher chance of touching the line. IMHO you'd need to be a pretty serious bencrest shooter to buy a gun in this caliber for this advantage.
