Squirrels 🐿️ better look 👀 out
You are a lucky granddad. My granddaughter refuses to shoot until they do something wrong. Like steal bird food then it’s lights out. I stock the bird feeder daily just for her.LOL

Dallas@markhooper I'd be willing to bet 45 recoil out of an airgun is pretty tame. Especially with a moderator.
Personally, i have no current use for a big bore. I dont even shoot my .30. Ive got a .308 and 45-70 I'll shoot, but those arent airguns.
If I had the space to shoot, space to set up casting, and a real good supply of air, I guarantee I'd have some rather large big bores. At least a .50.
I had not seen the 308 long shot. Maybe I'm just an ass, but I'm not much impressed by guys walking shots. I feel like a very good number of members here could do the same if they had the gun, ammo, air, assistance, range, and time. There is a chance I'm being ignorant.
Oh no, don't say the h wordplease. My mk1 crown does pellets and slugs just fine. Hammer and port adjustment knobs so you get a lot of range of adjustment. My 500mm barrel will send 25gr .22 slugs at 950fps. The 500 is also meant to shoot pellets too. But I still almost exclusively shoot pellets thru the 380mm barrel. Have taken squirrel with headshots as far as 70-75 yards with no issue using 16gr pellets. About as far as I'm comfortable using pellets in almost 0 wind conditions btw. Usually I get them closer like 30-50 yards.
I'm surprised you can buy ANY pellets in Illinois.no link , but at the local Walmart when they have them, & it is not all of the time, i was fortunate last year & got lucky , a few times, & have 9000 pellets (22 cal) i live a mile from W/m & i pick up my Meds there, so i always check for them , 22 cal are not there always,& (were out last week) but 177's are usually in stock , i am in illinois, & they do not even sell 22 cal airguns..
Sorry, opening what now?I have the 30 out of the box it's pretty accurate opening the porch and how much would that improve the accuracy do you think
After January 1, 1970, power of airguns sold on the open market in Germany was limited to 7.5 joules, roughly 5.5 foot-pounds. They are stamped with an "F in pentagon" symbol (F = "frei," indicating free to buy without license). This translates to around 600 FPS in .177, which is typical for match guns. In those days (maybe still?) the UK limit was 12 foot-pounds for rifles, and 6 for pistols - not relevant to these guns.I have a question about my FWB 300. The ones imported into the usa in the 70s & 80s, were they using the so called uk power limit then?
I think today anything over 9 foot pounds, is a no go in europe without a license?? What power is usual for these rifles? And is there an after market spring? As i ordered new springs and seals from Europe 6 months ago when I rebuilt it.
Not tried Them..But what are the CAS cup seals like? The purple seals
