That's a good find
Works well on a Texan I'd imagine...

I don’t know what it means. I mean these things are really shiny. Almost aluminum foil type shiny.Wonder if that means they're softer than normal redesigns so they can expand better? Idk my Crosman Premier are also shiny but are hard. Tin vs lead vs other making up composition
Hand Pumping? Thanks for taking the time to explain that. Pretty neat, and I learned something since I never owned one myself. There were pretty expensive when they first released (IIRC) and I was just a college kid, so hand pumping was the way for me! I remember never letting others shoot my Talon SS because of all the hand pumping I'd have to do afterwards... lol
To measure the effectiveness of the moderator is necessary know the before and after. That I didn’t actually test as i wouldn’t ever use it unmoderated, I’ll try to get some levels with the mod off
Wow thanks for a great explanation. This is a great community.I believe they all came with it. My 1992ish R1 and a virgin 1982/83 R1 I worked on had liners. Unless you got your gun new, it was removed. They were initially installed to help support the early style cocking shoe. They still kept them after the development of the new style cocking shoe in about 2012. They still function as grease shield and take up space around the spring which arguably helps reduce spring buzz. It's quite common for the liner to get damaged beyond use when a spring breaks. The 35s, 80s and 95 family guns use them. Here's an 80 liner with a new and old style cocking shoe. I've taken most of them out of the guns I've worked on.

Well it’s really not much less recoil that of a 22lr and that’s probably what they assume you’re going to be buying this to practice with for but hey it could just be a marketing strategy to get more powder burners into air rifles..? Hey buy this you won’t disturb your neighbor and you could shoot gobs of lead for way cheaper then your over priced 22lr ammo who knows..Why does this rifle have a powder burner ”magazine”, doesn’t seem like a good idea. Looks even worse with the MDT chassis, it’s not going to be a trainer for PRS PB because of no recoil, balance etc…
