The k1 is regulated and the changes are not as harsh on the internals. The gk1 is full pressure from the tank as opposed to the regulated pressure on the k1. Not as harsh on the internals. The K1 rifle has a wheel to adjust on the go exactly as I intend to make for the pistol, reading the manual they dont say anything about a quarter rotation, the exploded diagram of the gearbox seems identical to the GK1, the only piece that can wear of is a o-ring in contact with smooth surface rod, I dont see much of a problem turning that constantly. Without regulator, the internals are always at full pressure, the adjuster in both cases controls the compresion of a spring, more compresion, more quickly the vertical valve re-seals the plenum. The only part that can maybe move differently is the horizontal firing valve, maybe, and just maybe, it retracts more if the vertical valve opens more time, still I dont see any reason why you should turn only a quarter every shoot, Gregor Kamensek itself has a video adjusting a V3 without considering that.
But if there is a fundamented reason on why you shouldn shoot a 5fpe, and turn 4 revolutions to shoot at máximum the next one, I must advise it in the instructional video of my grip mod. Why the quarter rotation on the GK1 and not in the K1?
Simply would not let me attach anything… An administrator reset solved the problem…@L.Leon What was the issue preventing you from posting pics?
the848 is 135 and 130 grainersHere an update to my post earlier on my .30 700 Dynamic. Just received my 100-200 bar reg from Huma. At 180 bar I’m getting 980s with the 108 griffin slugs. And back down to 930s with the 90s to get this group at 70 yards.
The first was at 25 power and to high for my age. The next 6 as you can see from the photo.
The second shows power settings of 23 on high and on 1 I’m still super sonic where the chronograph won’t read the speed of the 44 grain pellets. Knew it had the capacity but the endurance is still to remain. Have extra valves and seals if not. Enjoy Powermonger

I tend to agee that sorting will not completely eliminate the problem, but it will likely help your scores. Pellet hole placement from a 9 to an 8 frequently can only be measured with a scoring plug because the difference can be so slight. Just a difference in 2 or 3 points can mean winning or losing a match.Sorting is a bandaid with much better results in the psychological/confidence department than the accuracy department.
I compete (mostly field target) and don't sort pellets for competitions. I win my share of matches, always using unsorted projectiles. I also shoot probably 3-5 100 yard EBR cards a week. Granted field target doesn't require benchrest accuracy, but 100 yard benchrest accuracy is not 50 yard benchrest accuracy.
Thanks for the information!I'm the same way and use mine more for information than possible dollar value of a given rifle. My book cost me $60 but was well worth it to me for all the information inside it.
Yes, you can get a rough ballpark on value of a rifle, but at the end of the day, the buyer is the one that will decide if the price is worth it to them or not.
