Evanix  Evanix leak

Remove the e-clips from the pins on the trigger group. After trigger components are removed it will reveal two screws. After removing the screws you will be able to remove the valve(*the valve is threaded in the tube*). Replace the seal on the valve.

Next, use the fill probe to unscrew the fill port cap to replace that seal.

Hardware store o rings are no good for hpa. Buy this seal kit https://www.ebay.com/itm/274298151751

*when removing e-clips place the gun in a plastic bag. They have a tendency to fly off when removing them

I backed the hammer spring tension out just a bit over 1/3 turn. The best I can tell my reg is set at 135 bar ???

These are the 1st shots from my DRS.

I'm getting about 20 shots, 230 to 150 bar, it's cold here yet.

That's pretty damn impressive string! ES of 7 and SD of 2.6 and another string with ES of 2 and SD of 1???? That's really nuts especially for 1000 bucks!!! Let's see if any of those "game changers" can match that. :ROFLMAO:

Other  Serpent Arms PCP Shotgun (28 Guage) Full Review Video / The 550L

I have a 550 headed my way, special offer while supplies last get a free compressor. Fastest shipping ever as they are located in Wisconsin just like me, perhaps their feet are permanently froze to the ground here ?
OK I had a slight hiccup with my first Serpent I was sent, Serpent Arms was very quick and helpful on getting to the bottom of the issue and sent me a new gun, this one is a keeper.

Anyone have differnt results With Patriot Javlin 30cal slugs?

Where do u pick up Wildman slugs?
Pyramyd Air, 3/4/24, used 14% discount mentioned here, now expired. (Product # PY-P-1818.) Order was (2) Javelin Gen 2, (2) Wildman, Dish and Flat base, all 60 grain. Recent testing shows flat base Wildmans OK too but weren't originally. WM

HW/Weihrauch  Easter teaser for WOOD lovers..

This is Farrah. It has as much feather as her. 😆. … Its for a project I’m finalizing very soon . I’ll post later . Just thought it was to good to not share a sneak peak of this feather crotch beauty.. It will sit now for a week and then final oil/rotten stone polish, and but pad clean up. Oil dirtiys them when finishing them.. it has to cure before any solvents are used to clean them. HAPPY EASTER …. 🍻

like I tell my Girl.. “Good wood is hard to find, Hard wood is good to find”. 🤣

Happy Easter

Great to see we have a grouping of Christians, here, on the boards! Spent years admin'g on a car forum & seemed I was the only Christian there.

Great Sunday morning, resurrection day service today. God Bless / Praise Jesus

Many say they are and then I here what comes out of their mouth. "It is not what goes into the mouth, but what comes out that defiles." Be wise. Be accountable. Bless you, Karl

Raw HM1000x pellet selection

With the monsters I am averaging 948fps with 53 shots filled to 230 bar. I am gonna try slowing it down and hope I will help tighten me up some.

On another note I did try a pellet assortment at 100 yards. My groups size doubled as expected. My fliers were even further off though. Tried some daystate howler slugs. They shot the best compared to the pellets. I need to order some different ones to test out. Does anyone have any recommendations for slugs in the RAW HM1000X?
For Slugs, I did it wrong..I bought a bunch and just started testing. Wrong and expensive. What i should have done was Slug the barrel 1st to find the diameter. this will provide you with a proper size you require instead of buying a whole bunch and just trying them out. What you will need to experiment with AFTER you know the size is what weight and the speeds you will fire the slugs. There are videos on youtube to show you how slugging a barrel is done. Here is an example.

Mounts/Rings  SOLD Scope rings, lots of them

Rings are new or like new and were mounted very minimally. All are picatinny except the Hawke rings.

Element 34mm high fde - Cost me $165 w/ cerakot selling for $100 shipped.
Eagle vision 34mm - $70 shipped
Utg pro 30mm - $50 shipped
Utg pro 34mm - $50 shipped
The Hawke rings - $35 shipped
Athlon rings - $35 shipped
Nightforce 30mm - Cost $190 selling for $110 shipped

I would sell the whole lot for 300 bucks if someone wanted to take them all off my hands otherwise I'd have to go to individual fair pricing , and the pricing is fair so don't be cheap.

An ill take it message means next step is payment, I will not answer any questions after "I'll take it" or anything of the like.

I also don't use PayPal, i use venmo or zelle only. My feedback is impeccable.

Beeman  Beeman 1357 mods

Just got the rifle today, it shot okay. Grouped nice enough, but the stock scope is close to useless. Okay sight in it, but for some reason it does not react to my clicks at all.

Ordered a Donniefl silencer mount.

It's already on the bench for fixing the trigger and tightening up everything that is not tight.

It for sure does not need more power.

It hit1040 fps with jsb diablo 10.34 grain, out of the box.

I did get to ghetto try an atec silencer on it. And that did so much difference, I can't wait.

Altaros  Help. Reg wont go above 100 bar

Hi all. I installed a alteros reg on my S400 classic. Its a 100-150 bar reg and was set at 125 on the scale out the box.

I went down a bit to 115-120 before installing and installed exactly as per video and pressurized and it only went to 95 bar. With 150 in tank.

I also installed the quickfill with tank pressure guage.

I stripped and went slightly higher on scale and still 100 bar.

No matter how much i adjust reg pressure only goes to 100 bar... i have not turned screw out more than 1 full turn because alteros does not recommend that...

Is it that it may be needing extra Bellville washers internally or is reg actually screwed?

I test fired and its 10.5 ft/lb but is extremely consistent...

Help

Post your confirmed long PELLET head shots.

This is from my Western Outpost blind, once again. And from back in a day before I caused localized extinction of the Sage Rats (Ground Squirrels)
This is another 250' shot, + added elevation because of "This Branch" that "pushed" it out further than that w/ scope doping.

There is a gap between the hard leaning pine tree to the right (near ground in pic), and, the distant shrub line to the left. Within that shrub line to the left is an arching branch that a Ground Squirrel would climb, and then send out alarm barks to the other Ground Squirrels. The bottom, low point of the picture is a seasonal stream bottom that measured out at 225', the shrub is up the opposite side of the canyon, at 250', but required elevation adjustments on the scope due to the height, and windage due to the wind.
View attachment 479919

This is the branch that the alarm squirrel would climb, and sit at. It took me a few rounds over a few days to get the shot dialed in, due to the branches elevation, and, the daily wind that blows left to right.
"This Branch" is probably 5' high off the ground. The rodent would sit there, and hug that branch , and send out alarm barks.

WHAP!
Head shot, dropped it from the branch, and lots of brain dead flopping around:

Results  Ultimate Field Target @ Phoenix Rod and Gun Club March 2024 Match Report

Hats off to Ben for his ideas, his fortitude, and his sacrifice to make Ultimate Field Target a reality for those of us who enjoy shooting air rifle Field Target in all its forms. Without Ben, Ultimate Field Target would still be on the back of a napkin somewhere.

Thanks Ben!!

Tiapen in garage with Epic ?

Yes, they were. But a lot of it is due to the low reg setting, especially in uk sub 12 foot pound. They designed the regs for upwards of 170-200 bar if needed. But, yes, I have to prove it. But think, if the pressure is relatively equal by comparison, 170 vs 300 I’d much closer than 300 to 90 , or 70.
Very true points there. I havent really seen any guns US based where guys are shooting FAC. Almost all are UK .177s.
