@MartyMcFly When I read CNC threads and posts, I can see the areas of overlap between that sort of designing and machining and 3D printing clearly. A lot of it seems automated. I didn’t see that so much with lathes (I don’t know much about mills). Honestly I think that 3D printing needs its own space due to the differences in manufacturing a finished product, material differences, and tolerances. If one could make the same products on a lathe, mill, and a 3D printer, then sure why not lump them together? Think of slug/pellet molds or airgun barrels.

Went shooting again today, used a spare heavier hammer spring from MAP I had. Groups shrunk to 0.75” at 50m. Not sure if accuracy improved because of more speed or less wind. Was too cloudy for the chrono, so no numbers. Ordered a HST adjuster today and when I get it I’ll install the MAP valve as well.

Any ideas on how to elongate the probe? It’s seating the pellets with part of the skirt still in the TP.

Thank you, I don't see much for posts about this particular rifle. I also expect it is not a design flaw exclusive to this brand or model with everyone trying to save a buck on manufacturing costs. I imagine its too much to think ag companies will see this and elevate their production std. Till then, this works well and didn't cost much.

I have had a renewed attraction for the pumper. I have one now in all three calibers. All vintage. The 22 caliber with a Steve Corcoran custom stock is the most accurate and powerful pumper I’ve ever owned. I initially set it up with a Williams peep sight. Actually bought it with the sight already on it. My 68 year old eyes do quite well but I know I’m not getting everything out of it. Accuracy wise. I had this 3.25x8 power Nikon pistol/scout scope not doing anything so I mounted it on the ”machine.” My nickname for it. The loading port has easy access and the balance is perfect. I just finished sighting it in on this very windy day and I literally watched the pellet in air land on the spot of another one I was aiming for at 37 yards. I can’t wait for a beautiful calm day. I’ll post the results.

I agree with you 100%. If I didn't buy a compressor and casting equipment upfront... I would never be able to afford. To shoot my Texan.. I'm in the process of getting some slug barrels.for.my condor probably 16 twist and a 9 twist ..I'm sure in the future ,I won't be happy with cast accuracy ..Then ill jump into the rabbit's hole of swaging..I'm glad to have good mentors around . I'm not paying $20.00 for a 100 lil slugs...Buy equipment cry once

In my honest opinion if you were in the market for one this is the one to get. I do not know what the future will bring but this sony sensor they are using is awesome. This scope will adjust the reticle or show you the holdover if you get the lrf, it's limitations would be the lrf would not work under 10y but you could easily set your zero for close range and have the ballistics do the work for farther work. Or have different zeros you can have multiple zeros saved and can swap them pretty fast. As of now you can only have 1 ballistic saved at a time but can save multiple ones and send them over within a minute or so. I will link some of the videos I have done and as I said it is probably the most impressive image I have seen on a digital scope. Just keep in mind it is not a glass scope but this one has had the least pixaltion on zoom. Check out those 2 and look at the others I have as well.
