PCP Rifle  SOLD Benjmain Akela .177 Regulated Buck-Rail

Hey All,
I recently purchased this from another member. Actually really like it but another purchase just came up so im letting this go.

Details:
I have a nice Benjamin Akela in .177. This airgun has had the barrel polished and the crown dressed. It will stack Polymag Predator Pellets in a single hole! It has the Buck Rail Barrel Band and Scope Rail Support installed. It also has a Huma-Air Regulator already installed for a boat load of consistent shots. The Regulator is set at 2000 psi, but can be adjusted. It will come with everything shown in the picture, which include 3 magazines, the Stock Spring and an extra trimmed spring (it already has a trimmed spring installed). It also includes the long allen wrench needed to remove the stock and the front Picatinny Rail. The Picatinny Rail has been removed for shipping, but is included. This has upgraded baffles, so it's quieter than stock.

$325 Shipped & PP'd. If you want a signature or insurance, thats extra.

Other  Ali Express Regulated Drop Block Problem, easy fix

yes it is a Dowty washer, I took too much meat off the block and there is a Stainless steel cap below it that I didn't want to cut (I don't have the tooling to cut stainless yet), the block is too large to fit in my Lathe chuck so I use a fly cutter on the Mill to trim the block, me being a novice machinist I goofed:eek:, so I had to do what I could to save the thing, so it got the Dowty washer, it's a very heavy duty Dowty washer so I'm not worried about it, and yes I got water vapor in the gauges, they dried out within 20 minutes, I can't wait till I get the DRO for the Mill, that will keep me from doing too many Ooopses, oh well, it still worked out....

Vector Veyron 6-24 SFP Initial Impressions

I have the Veyron 3-12 SFP and it is an amazing scope. Believe it or not, it tracks perfectly in any situation. Clear and we'll controlled flare and CA. So I ordered a second one and it was quite fuzzy, so I returned it. Id like to believe it's a fluke. I'm considering ordering a 4-16 and see how it works.

Xinfrared T2 Pro Small Game Testing

There has been threads on this but I have been collecting data and clips on thermals and night scopes and instead of keeping them in my vidoe libraries for myself I figured I would start posting some. I apologize that they are just silent videos but just try and make stuff straight and to the point and show what they are about.

The Xinfrared T2 Pro is a thermal device that attaches to your phone. It comes with a handle and a phone mount so it can he held in one hand and uses the app and your phone screen to show you the image.

They are phone specific so make sure you choose the correct platform for iPhone or Android. They can be purchased on Amazon for right around $399 and $429 if you want to optional mount for a picatinny rail. So in my opinion this is a great way to dip your feet into the thermal world while still getting a usable image.

The downside to it using your phone as a screen is it will be brighter than if you were using a dedicated monocular where it's a much smaller screen and is shielded by an eye piece. With that said non of the animals in my video knew I was there and didn't give away my position. They do have an option in the app to turn on ninja mode which dims the screen but I have not tested that.

They come with a case to protect the unit and the corded connections but it's very thin and I am hoping to work with a friend to make a better case but out of the box and normal use it will be fine.

If you have never used a thermal while out pesting it is a complete game changer you can see a animal almost instantly and even though this unit is on the cheap side its still using a 256 sensor and see a rabbit at 50+ yards and being able to identify it was not a problem. 2 inch mouse at 20-30 yards no problem, granted it just looks like a moving blob but once you know what they are you can spot them. You have the option to enable heqt tracking which will show a reticle on the hottest thing in view but I find it distracting while a new user may find it very helpful to find an animal. You have the option to switch over to phone camera to get an idea while in day use. There are also 5 color options available this allows for users to see which pallet they like and which gives you the most detail.

All in all this is a great little unit with decent clarity for the price range. It will get you seeing what bumps in the night

N/A  Question

All of a sudden something that was once a fun hobby would become a full time job and shortly thereafter monotonous repetition as well as just even more of the "same old same old".

Also you have to start yelling at your bosses for changing their pellet designs just when we had the older design shooting fine.
You are right !....... Pleasure would become hell.

AEA  HP SS Max 357 Project

Awesome info brother thank you. This has been extremely helpful to me due to my AEA virginity. I recently picked up and AEA hp max .35 9mm as my first pcp air rifle/pistol. This thing has been nothing but a headache. Leaking at the barrel and the poppet seems fine. I couldn't figure it out until the barrel broke at the threads near where the firing pin enters. Does anyone happen to know where I can scrap this? Kidding. I need a barrel replacement and cant find them anywhere.

Air Arms  Upgrades S500XS

I switched out the funky air arms fill method for a foster QD this morning! Best Fittings in the U.K. - Nice !
Best Fittings also provided me with the 1/2" UNF adapter for the shrouded barrel system.
Switched out my Aeron FT stock to try a GRS stock I bought from a fellow AGN mbr..
Added a Rowan Engineering right side mag loading option - SAWEEEEET! big help for stupid fingers when loading little pellets.
And I added a 40 mm maestro adjustable pointer which slipped over my eye piece - custom made for my S-Tac 4-20x50 sightron scope.
Eric Sanders @Scope-Werks custom built this 6” eccentric mag wheel and the cool blue thing which is a "key" to turn the reticle on and off.
All in, including the zero DB moderator, 11 lbs.
hot dog.

RTI  RTI Mora powerful .357 with huge power, high shot count, coming this year...

I am new to the PCP world, I'm also a knowledge junkie. I am thinking about a bigger bore PCP sometime down the road.
Is .357 an advantage thanks to the large variety of PB bullets available? I recall .357 and 9mm bore diameters being interchangeable several PB pistols on the market with an Addl. cylinder .357 and 9mm.
I am set up for casting, is the .357 bore diameter advantageous in the world of big bores?

Red Dot or Scope?

Thanks, but I should clarify that's shooting with the pistol on a sandbag.

The one great thing about a scope with all the zoomies is that you can see where you're missing. OTOH, with a red dot you've basically got to waste a bunch of ammo trying to figure out your hold.

Shooting paper at any kind of distance is much more fun with a scope.
No...not really, I don't "waste" any ammo !!
The only time I waste any ammo, is when I put a new "aiming device" on a gun. Be it a scope, a red dot, or the SeeAll as shown above !

To me...makes NO difference, the distance or the sighting device. As long as I hit what I'm aiming at.
And yeah...no "crutches" (benches, bags, single, bi, or tripods) for me, I shoot everything I own, offhand.
I KNOW my guns can shoot well, no secret there. I'm testing...myself.

New target!

There are deck lights above which didn't spook him and there is a convenient window available in my shop off axis from the bird feeders. It will be about a 12 yard shot. I just need to set up about 10PM when he shows up for supper. I'll be using a Gamo Viper 22. I recently started the search for a Daystate Huntsman Revere 22. I am about 95% certain on the Revere but haven't decided new or used yet.
Revere 22 excellent !!

Bugbuster for Field Target Pistol?

The bugbuster is a great scope, for many reasons, especially close-range, backyard shooting.
But I think you would be disappointed using it for any serious fied target competitions.
Another member recently found another scope, that is very similar, about the same price, and might be even be a little better than the bugbuster.
But again, the bugbuster is probably not something you would want to compete with.
Here is a link to the similar scope, and why it may be better than a bugbuster:
Thank you.

PCP Rifle  SOLD Edgun Leshiy Classic .22 / 350mm

(Scope not included in the sale) I bought this gun new, 2 years ago from Airguns of Arizona. It’s never had any operational issues or problems. It’s never leaked and never been opened up and still has the original Edgun regulator inside. It’s in near perfect condition and I’d be hard pressed to find anything cosmetically wrong with it. You can see that the Edgun digital gauge still works too.

I installed a Steve Brown grip that fits like a glove. It also looks great on the gun. The original Edgun grip is included. Also included is the fill probe, various o-rings that came with the gun and the original 250mm barrel in .177 caliber. (Scope not included in the sale)

The reason I’m selling is because I just don’t shoot it anymore and I could use the money to fund my next airgun acquisition. $1300 shipped tyd (in the conUS). I accept Paypal friends and family (or buyer pays the 2.9% Paypal charge).
