PCP Rifle  SOLD Custom FX Maverick/Wildcat MK3 BT "All in One" Package - Check It Out :)

OK.. to start with, this might confuse some of you but rest assured I'll explain it! :) Current FX PCP Owners probably already know this but for those that don't, the FX Wildcat MK3 BT and the FX Maverick are 95% the same gun just in different stock systems. The Maverick in an Impact style bullpup chassis and the Wildcat BT in a traditional style bullpup synthetic stock. pretty much EVERYTHING else is the same. Safety Lever and Tube Clamps for the scope rail system are the only differences. Same Power, same tuning system, same air delivery system. With that being cleared up let me tell you about the gun I'm listing. It started life as a Wildcat MK3 BT .30cal and was immediately changed to .22cal as a compact heavy pellet and light slug shooter. It shoots perfectly and accurately in that setup, you won't be disappointed! When Saber Tactical released the TRS Rail for the Maverick I wanted one for the gun. However, that Top Rail is not compatible with the Wildcat BT as it uses a different setup (dovetail) on the top rail tube clamps. So after a lot of research and conversations with Izzy over at ST, I ordered a set of new top rail clamps for a Maverick from FX and installed them on the gun. Along with the new tube clamps I installed a ST TRS Top Rail and had a "One of a Kind" Wildcat BT. It was perfect, and still is! A couple of months ago an opportunity to purchase a stock FX Maverick chassis at a reasonable price came up so I bought it. The thought was the only thing that could be better than a Custom Wildcat BT was one you could easily change into an FX Maverick in two minutes. So, what you see below in the pics is the SAME GUN in two different chassis setups.. Pretty Cool huh :) I'm wanting to experiment with some cool new setups for the Panthera/Dynamic so I'm letting this one go.

The current setup on the gun is as follows:
Compact 500mm .22cal w/Superior liner/CF sleeve, Saber Tactical TRS Top Rail, 300cc CF Bottle, Huma dual caliber (.22/.25) pin probe, and Europe Airguns 20 position "Fine Tune" Power Wheel (not available anywhere in the US).

Gun comes with BOTH Wildcat BT and Maverick stock systems, an additional oem FX Maverick Top Scope Rail, one Orion .22 magazine, and an FX hardcase. Scope, Moderator, and Bipod pictured are NOT Included- Asking $1650obo shipped (conus) for the entire setup. PP F&F, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App accepted. "Low Ball" ridiculous offers will be unappreciated and ignored so please, if you can't afford it or appreciate how much time, effort and money went into building this "One of a Kind, Cool Factor 1000%" gun don't waste my time or yours. Thanks.. I'm happy to answer any and all questions, contact info upon request from serious responders.

FX  DRS Classic .177 Initial Review

Just so you know 13.5 jsb @ 810 is 19.5 fpe 840 is over 20 fpe which is the limit for ft.
Hi Solo1,
I am not sure if your comment was addressed to me or to the OP. You are correct about the energy for the pellets at the velocities. My discussion was to find a maximum velocity that is 15-20 fps faster than I want to shoot, then back off to the best tune velocity.

For a 13.4 gr pellet a velocity of 820 fps gives almost exactly 20 FPE. Note that in completion the AAFTA allows 2% over velocity due to variations in Chronographs and temperature. So, for a 13.4gr pellet you can get a Chrony reading of 836 fps and be considered legal. When my rifle shot just over 830 fps on the chrony at the Pyramid Cup last year, the Marshal doing the testing asked me to shoot a 2nd shot. An 819 on the second shot satisfied him.

Cheers,
Greg

HW/Weihrauch  First Time Spring Change

This is what worked for me with a couple of HW95s. The HW95 has the same power plant as your 77.

I ordered springs from Air Rifle Headquarters and piston seals from Vortek. I used a dremmel on the spring guides because they were a little to wide for the new springs. The new springs now fit snug but not tight.
I got rid of the factory grease and relubed with moly paste. I used Black Tar grease on the spring. Both of these lubes are from Air Rifle Headquarters.

Now both rifles give me a nice smooth shot cycle. No buzz or twang.

Vector Veyron, USO TX12 NOT the same scope

I’ve read many times on forums, this one included, that these two scopes are identical and that is untrue. They may be made in the same factory and share simularities but OAL and weights differ proving them to be unequal. Just thought I’d clear up some myths floating around in cyberspace.

734 Jack Swamp Rd., Pleasant Hill, NC 27866

Google Maps directions directly to the club address don't work. You can either:

A. Put 754 Jack Swamp Rd. in your phone (That's the house right next to the club driveway)
OR

B. Click on this Link
Click on the Red teardrop on the map, A box should pop up
Click on the Red "Find Directions" Diamond ( upper right box)
Enter your starting point
The only marking on the club driveway is a small placard ( maybe 3 1/2" x 8") that is engraved with "734". It's on a tree trunk on the right side of the long driveway.

1000008011.jpg

Has lived in my living room. Only excursion to 1 shooting range, on my gk1. You will need to supply your own adapter for rmr/pic. I will cover shipping u.s. only

PayPal or zelle. (Moonwulf909 on eBay, open to private sales anything there also)

((If I sell my gk1 would my carbine or stripped to basic be preferred at realistic$$ ?))

Element/immersive optics 5x

I just ordered a 10x40 Immersive from UK dealer as well. A "warehouse" type of place ;). Saved a bunch!! I hope it works for me. I had two MTC Connects zero-eye relief optics about 10 years ago. I sold them both. Not sure why? I might find out?

I do see some folks have sold them here dirt cheap. Mine will be for woodland squirrel hunting (not pest).

FX  FX CROWN HARD CASE?

I realize you said “exact” same case, this is close…View attachment 456224
I have this one, as well as the FX case, and they do not even compare!
The FX case is nice, durable, and I feel like you might be able to drive a truck over it!
The Walmart case is flimsey, and not at all as durable.
For $50, its not a bad deal, just not nearly as durable as the FX case.

Huben  Huben GK1 V3 with V1 wrap

Taipan  Taipan Veteran 2 Tactical 500 mm cal 0.22

I just got the same gun from Tony with the 700mm barrel. It put the 25.4s in the same hole at both 25 and 50 yards at the range. I switched over to JSB KOs in the same weight and it was shooting better than me at 100 yards. For grins, I put some 18.1g pellets in it and whoa did the speed go up as well as the sound - all over 1000fps. I have the 25.4s at about 960, but I have the unchoked barrel. I'm ordering the 550mm barrel to swap out so I'm watching this thread closely!
Interesting. I'm considering doing the same thing. Would installing a shorter barrel make the moderator get in the way of air tank? Also, sounds like 700 version has a 75 cc plenum (which is supposedly better for slugs), whilst the 550 version does not.

AEA .22 pellets, damaged tins

How are they flying!
They are amazing and consistent! I did a 12 shot group with the 21.9gr and I had 8 consecutive 942fps, followed by a 939fps then a 942, then a 944 and then a 945. Out of my Katran they shoot really well out to 100yds, 1.5 - 2inches shooting from the golf cart steering wheel. The 25.3gr shoot even better but I haven't tested them at 100yds, at 50yds theyre were grouping tighter than the 21.9gr but again the 25 3gr are going 905fps and the 21.9 ar going 942 with those same settings.
