PCP Rifle  SOLD Uragan Compact .22

Just got this gun in for barn use, however another gun that I've wanted for a long time became available for a price I couldn't refuse. Great little gun and shoots very good. I tuned to 13fpe but will be turning it back up to the 815fps with 16gr pellets it came as. Gun has a few marks but nothing crazy. Did not come with moderator when I got it so no moderator. Asking $1000 shipped. Red dot and arca adapter are not included. No trades.

Fairfield Sportsmen's Association 100-Yard Benchrest Match Results 4/13/24

I try to avoid using the term “luck”. I said “coin flip” since up until the last year or so, the skill levels were so close that statistically no single shooter or shooters were standing out from the pack. And I did mention Thayne and Nickolay as the ones starting to change my mind. In my opinion, they are the only 2 that have had a consistent string of solid performances, not just in the top 10-20, but in the top 3-5 spots. That is a testament to their high skill level. But, I am also wondering if Thayne’s performance isn’t just his skill, but also a little bit of equipment advantage. He still has to perform at a very high level and have the mental fortitude to hold it all together. But even a slight advantage from the Red Panda could push him to the front of the field if he makes no major mistakes. His run of wins is phenomenal and unprecedented. We’ll have to wait to see if that guess is true. When the Red Panda starts getting into the hands of shooters, will they have enough confidence to swap with what they’re currently using? That would be an indicator the gun may be better. And of course, wins and podium finishes will answer the question definitively.

We have 14 benches at FSA and we draw for benches. Only one less than they have at the NAC. So, I guess we could hold a 5th major if we felt like it. We’ve had as many as 17 shooters so we’ve had to run 2 heats a couple times. Then its up to the luck of the draw with wind conditions.
I'd say Jeffrey Henandez @jeffhernandez would be in that list above Nicolay but behind Thayne, with Keith Gibson and Fady Kiwan in there on same level as Nicolay... So that's five, not two shooters that have proven that they are favored in the coin flip.
I agree with you that the RP may have given Thayne just enough of a smidge of an advantage to take him over the top. He's always been near the top with his Impact anyway... We'll see how he does this year, and it starts this weekend at the NAC.
I wouldn't really call the NAC or PAC a "major", but a level right below major. We can call them a major once they start getting 150+ shooters.

Barrels  SOLD FX Impact M3 .25 cal 800mm barrel kit w/custom moderated shroud + magazine + pellet/pin probe + Superior Slug liner (final SOLD price drop)

Everything you need ready to go for an affordable price (not $400 as retail). Additionally, I am including a side shot magazine and pin+pellet probe for your convenience. A few marks on the barrel, but the price more than makes up for it. The shroud has baffles inside; it’s an integrated moderator. Liner is a Superior Heavy 1:18 and like new.

I have heard great results from 38 grain H&Ns, NSAs, and 37 grain Zans…on par with .22 or even better. Steve Brew has had amazing shots with his .25 cal Punisher a.k.a. Impact M3 (200-350 yards) on rabbits. He’s got a superb setup.

Reason for selling is that I have no use for .25 cal as I am shooting slugs in .22 cal around 30 grains or less.

SOLD shipped TYD

AEA  New AEA M50 Owner - Advice on Mod Items

I know this is an old thread but it's a good place to talk about the m 50. Like the OP I am new to PCP guns, I own a firearm, a Mossberg shockwave, but I wanted something more portable, so I got the 50 cal M 50 with a 5 inch barrel, and I just ordered the pump action kit , which meant I had to get a 4 inch adapter for the barrel.

I wanted to tell the OP about it, in case he doesn't know about it. It comes with an alternate magazine, you can get one that holds 5 rounds or one that holds 8 rounds (if .357 cal it hold 8 or 11 rounds), and you can attach the magazines together and plug in two at once, doubling your rounds. Also you can mount an extra clip on a pic rail on top of the gun so you have it handy, though the tank doesn't actually hold enough air to shoot all of those rounds... still it's just somewhere to put an extra one, in case you have an air pump handy, like in your car or something.

The magazine goes in sideways, it sticks out the side horizontally, and much faster than the revolving magazine it comes with, plus the pump action means you don't have to take the gun off target to cycle the next round, which makes it more like a semi automatic. The kit has a pic rail in front of the pump action, so you can add another handle in the front, and with a fold up stock on the back, you have something like a shotgun or rifle that breaks down into a pistol.

This kit makes a bad ass gun even bad asser, from what I can see on the vs... like I said, I just ordered it so haven't had a chance to use it. Actually, if anyone else has used it, it'd be cool to hear what they think about it, as I won't get mine for another two weeks , that's how long the back order is.

So that's the accessory d most recommend, that and a laser, so you can fire from the hip like it's a shockwave.
