PCP Rifle  WTS WTS - Benjamin Marauder .22 cal and accessories

Pretty straight forward, Benjamin .22 Cal Marauder PCP Air Rifle. $450.00

Holds pressure at 3000 PSI. Integral "moderator". Sighted it in at 25 yards.

Come with:
-two 10 shot magazines
-4-16x50-ish scope
- Hill Air manual pump
-some .22 cal pellets, about 700
-an expired SCBA air bottle, valve, and a filler tube.

Decided that I want to upgrade from the .22 cal PCP gun I got a little while ago.

Prefer local sale in Washington so I can just do a direct hand-off and not have to ship. Buyer pays shipping charges if it must be shipped.

Texan 457 Muzzle Break

@Poke-E Plenty of AGN members have dealt with him. He is known for tuning the Kalibrgun Cricket very well and other Eastern European guns. I bought an Evol that he tuned. The numbers he posted matched my personal chronograph numbers very closely. He’s also a helluva a competitive shooter. I’ve been around the forums long enough to trust the older members that know him and have dealt with him in addition to other members that I’m not acquainted with who speak highly of him on the AGN forums. I’ve never done business with him but he’s helped me personally when I’ve reached out to him and he has numerous helpful posts on the forums. Please, don’t just take my word for it. Look him up using the AGN search feature either by Derick Wall or @zx10wall and see what other members have said about their experiences with him.

Umarex  Notos scopes used?

BSA Tactical .223 2x7 mil-dot scope with a Burris Fast Fire 3 mounted on top of it.. perfect setup for the little Notos. Less then dime size 5 shots at 32 yds and under a nickel at 40... mil dots are a little big for very precise work but work great for short to mid range. Use the Fast Fire for ultra close shots 10-12 yds and under.

Tuning  Barrel droop?

I had this on the last 2 HW50s I took out of the box. After the tune kits were installed, the scopes didn't have enough elevation to sight in. The droop was obvious just looking down the side of the stock along the barrel. Simply centered the scope and bent the barrel in the crook of a tree til impacts were hitting near the crosshairs. All done. Normally I would use a scope mount with some droop built in, but both of these rifles were getting scopes too short for a one piece mount.

Other  .30 or .356 Cal?

Good points. Have never heard of HEU's. I cull elk for the state and am a big believer in an accurate rifle more than a powerful one, shooting 35 elk in the past 6 years, mostly with a 110 gr 6.8 SPC Barnes TTSX, but a pellet rifle isn't shooting a monolithic copper bullet.

Really leaning towards the .356/9mm.

Sig Sauer  Inside the ASP20: Teardown and Specs

About 60 shots on the new seal and I'm up 10fps over yesterday already. Approximately same weather conditions so I think the seal is actually breaking in. My gun only ever made about 900fps with 10.3s so we're still a hair shy of my original velocity but not enough for me to worry. Like I said its only been about 60 shots. It is consistent as can be though.

Tuning  De-Tuning my new Beeman AR2078B .177

That's a great idea!

I was thinking about just welding an empty one closed, but all I have is a stick welder and 3/32" rod. That's more of a TIG kinda project. Maybe drill and tap the end of one, loc-tite a screw into it, then grind it down a little.

My Dad is a retired tool and die maker and it would be good to get some shop time in with him. He enjoys it too. He still laughs at some of the stuff I come up with (and that's okay).

Cheers,

Jeff

Other  EDgun Lelya 2.0 <> Taipan Veteran Compact

be gentle with the cocking levers of the LELYA there are springs inside that are almost impossible to find in the market . and another important detail , do not hold the levers closed with your hands while shooting ,also do not put slugs in the magazine and tilt the riffle upwards they will fell in the guns action and might cause damage

RWS  RWS 54 TUNER?

When I bought my D54 I was not happy with it at all. I had John Thomas tune it, he cut the groups in half. It was now shootable but not what I wanted. This is when I added the tuner. I have been shooting tuners on my PB benchrest guns for about 15 years. They will improve how any rifle shoots in my experience. Tuning the harmonics of your barrel to a particular pellet is always a plus and not attainable by any other method that I am aware of, especially a spring Airgun.
