N/A  .

Is there any videos out there to compare this effect? efficiency vs flex? Are the harmonics an issue or do they just have to be tuned differently on a longer barrel?
I'm looking at an FX bullput and wondering if 700mm is worth it over 500.
One more question, how much quieter is a longer barrel tuned to keep the power the same (more air expansion, less pop)?

Diana  Diana Sidelevers - Correcting Canted Front Sight?

i had messaged Hector on another forum with this cocking arm failure but before i understood this member was located in Finland
i would have to look but i believe the barrels are splined into the breech and if so a small cant on the front sight would be the front sing
i was allowed to keep the first rifle and maybe that front sight would be better but if i remember the fronts sight is not easy to remove

Portable PCP compressors (Tuxing, Nomad etc) and water in your bottles.

I would never rely on cotton to keep water out of my stuff. You need a good desiccant filter and be sure to change the beads when they change color. Good filtration will pay for itself in the long run. I filter my air through desiccant and molecular sieve. You can’t be too careful.

Tuning  Power or manners?

would you dumb down a monster to tame it so you can enjoy it or do you keep pushing it for power to the point you won't enjoy it?
It is so very subjective, both between shooters and within a shooter. After shooting a PCP, ANY springer feels harsh and abrupt and jumpy in comparison, even to a sworn springer guy like me. A New Normal is always lurking behind the corner, such is the bane of the modern age.

For a guy fully adapted to highly-tuned, low- to moderate power springers, a magnum springer will likely always feel unenjoyable to shoot. But to a magnum springer guy, the parameters are completely different. That guy goes whistling into the woods with a heavy-recoil, high-mass, high fpe gun that may well be in factory trim (gasp). It's his Normal, and works exactly as expected, taking bigger small game at long ranges, time and time again.

FWIW, among my present projects is a 1987 HW80 that I'm testing out for power with various setups. One can always look for inspiration at the Venom Arms LazaGlide HW80's that shot 23 - 25 fpe @ .22 cal, with excellent accuracy out to 65 yards, while feeling like a 10 fpe gun, with no recoil or vibration.

Realistically, with the tools, skills and parts that I have, I'd be happy to end up with the 20 fpe.

Omega help needed

Yes you will need to remove the cover. I have a good friend with a Supercharger and he had this same problem. His ended up having a bad flow meter.

Some great info on the Supercharger in this article. Good luck and keep us posted .

Stripped torx screws on gamo rings

Some of the torx head screws are of poor quality and imperfect sizing, which is a stripped head waiting to happen. If the screws they send do not fit the driver perfectly, I'd try to find better quality replacements. That said, the ring screws do not need to be very tight. I expect that most of my PCP ring screws are not even at the recommended torque value.

FX Pocket Chrono V2 APP compatibility

I went other way around, instead of a smaller screen I got a Tablet-A, and loaded everything there on big screen ... the FX radar + Strelok + Wind Meter
I prefer smaller, ligher easy to carry gear. For anyone interested It works on a Smartwatch and it is amazing.

Brocock/BRK  Ghost lower rail

Thanks for this insight. I had the same problem with fitment of my tripod. Too much trouble removing the bottle, and I prefer the bipod mounted forward. I just ordered a tripod and ACRA head and was investigating how to mount the Ghost.
This looks like a great solution. Will order one now.
