How do you compare Sportsmatch adjustable mounts with Eagle Vision adjustable mounts?

interesting.... i'm not a bubble level fan boy myself... what's in the reticle is what matters to me. if i need a bubble level i usually mount it on the dove tail or pic rail directly.
I have 2 sets of eagle vision mounts that work and look very nice , but the bubble level are not there best work .
For me mounting a level has to be on the rail .

HW/Weihrauch  Fresh tune for a new R7

Ah yes, I happened to have a foe toe of my 2MT Conzella set and apparently had been using the pipe center. Even the import clone sets could be very useful. Recommended

You could also run Delrin on a dead center with some oil. Hey, it’s used for making bearings. Just don’t run too fast on a dead center. We used to run white lead and oil on our dead centers. That’s what the dauber on the tailstock of most vintage lathes is for. A little reservoir under the dauber holds your mixture. A dead center has a ring around It means it’s hardened and can be used in the tailstock. An unhardened center can be mounted in the headstock taper. That’s called a live center. Then you turn your parts with a dog plate, and a drive dog. Part has to be center drilled on both ends. The advantage to this is you can remove your part from the lathe and reinstall it without losing concentricity.
Hope you all find that interesting.

Air Arms  Alpha Proj

good question
i own a Listone Victor the clone of the Air Arms Alfa but mine is CO2
https://www.airgunspares.com/gunspares/airgun-spares/air-arms-air-rifle-models/alfa-pistol.html

here are the parts diagram and parts list from my pistol
i would also believe that a Tau 7 in Co2 is using the same setup but again that is an assumption
the cap would use a 113 Oring in urethane
a Tau 7 parts diagram

about all i have

RAW Rapid  RAW FT pistol vs Micro Hunter

I originally brought this up because I'm trying to be economical at my adult age. I've spent way too much money in the past on this hobby. It's all been fun just not financially sound. I have a 17" LW steel sleeved barrel that is a take off from my TM1000 in it's 12ftlb days. It's a super accurate barrel and I was thinking if I had Martin cut it down to about 12" and swapped it out with the 8.5" barrel of the micro I would have the best of both platforms.
Fun stuff especially since it incorporates my favorite trigger.
Jerry L.

P.S. I also agree that the 1000 series would be better than the 1000x series block. The 1000x series block is too big unnecessarily for the power levels we are talking about here.
Just for your information, later Theoben rapid blocks come with the mk4 trigger ( your favourite) and will fit directly into the micro hunter chassis ( sadly and for some strange reason we can’t buy the smaller chassis in the uk only the longer chassis) your tm barrel will fit into a rapid block. You might be able to get a s/h rapid and convert that, which might be an economical option😉

Troubleshooting and repair. Of "mystery model" 760 PowerMaster

It's 29F now, by afternoon 66F expected, so good day to toss 760 parts in backpack, hoof it into town and match up what's available at hardware store for PowerMaster seals replacement.

1 1/2 mile walk to town provides daily exercise required by my doctor. I try to walk much as can (doctor's orders), but sometimes legs give out before completing ordered exercise, so got myself a bicycle. Works pretty good most of the time, until occasionally my trick knee goes out, leaving me in pain and stranded, so I can then make it home, I motorized my bicycle.

At next doctor's appointment when was inquired, told him that, yes, I'm getting my exercise as ordered, but I had to switch to a bicycle, because my legs sometimes just couldn't hold up long enough. He was fine with that, but then imagine the look on my doctor's face, when I told doctor, due to my sometimes troublesome trick knee, motorized my bicycle. Doc asked: You bought a bicycle for exercise and then motorized it? 😄😁😇

What I learned: Never trust the advice of a fat doctor who always drives his mercedes to work everyday.

I have a pretty good notion from that visit, of what the look of my doctor's face would be, if shown a picture of my "tacti-cool" Powermaster BB gun lols 🤣

PCP Rifle  SOLD Selling FX Bobcat MK2 .25 cal w/extras (470cc air cylinder)

I got this Bobcat MK2 in .25 cal with LOTS OF EXTRAS, but ended up getting purchasing another rifle. It sits and I don’t get to enjoy it as much as I want to even though it is a tank of a rifle. Winner of many benchrest competitions. I saw another .30 cal Bobcat MK2 selling for $820+ shipped recently.

SOLD

Here is Ted smacking a pigeon at 150 yards with it:

This rifle is a laser due in part to the Theoben designed Smooth Twist barrel system. The liner is still as polished and shiny as the day it came out of the factory. It also sports an unorthodox 470cc air cylinder which is why the shot count is so high.

Comes with a regulator pre-installed; holds air forever and has a dial for low or high power. Low power its whisper quiet and you can shoot most of the day on a single air fill. On high power you have a small to medium game hunting rifle.

Has a factory FX moderator, upper picatinny rail for your optic and a lower picatinny rail for bi-pod/ flash light/ foregrip or whatever else you like.

Comes with a fill probe, silicone grease for fill probe, O-ring repair kit, 6x single shot trays, 4 mags (12 shot magazines). This rifle can seat one mag in the breach and 2 in the stock which is awesome when out in the field so you can get 36 shots with no additional gear in your pockets.

All of this will be kept safe and secure and shipped in the padded foam hard case from Utah Airguns.

3d printing parts?

I do my designing in Creo, which my company has seats of.

Not sure what happens if I change jobs and can't do little side projects in 3D cad from time to time. That would be a major bummer for me. Working on a much less featured free CAD system would also be a bummer.
Update: I'm doing my personal projects in SolidEdge, which has a very full-featured free 'makers' version.

FX  Panthera\King Max Bottle Pressure?

If you can stand the extra weight, and dont need a specific configuration I would run a 300cc rear and a 580cc up front on a Panthera.
Ya the Panthera in that configuration is super nice! Unfortunately, I have keep that nice GRS stock and need more shot count. I have a wall full of space guns and I need to look at some nice wood for a change so I'll have to settle for a big 700 up front.

Yong Heng Crankcase Swap

Ok,
F6Hawk had it right. I secured the crankcase and swung away with a hammer and a board.
P1120545.JPG

The crankshaft released. What was left was a bearing with some grit on it from seizing up. There was a compound of sorts that had melted off the copper coils too and was probably sticking to the crankcase as well. It was brittle and not the reason it was stuck.
P1120546.JPG

I used the four long bolts to reseat the bearings tightening them slowly in a star fashion. I'm waiting on a circlip pliers to replace the second stage piston then it should be ready to run. Thanks for everyone who helped.

Regards.

N/A  Anyone ever see a retractable wire style stock for the 1377-1322 air pistols ?

No idea. I'd say maybe. But you'd have to track him down first. May prove very difficult or impossible. You could post a wtb ad in the classified for 3d print services. But you'd still need to find appropriate sized rods and possibly other hardware and install.
