PCP Pistol  NLA Huben GK1 Shorty .25 & Huben GK1 Mini-Carbine .25

******** Mini-Carbine is SOLD *********

Unfortunately I can no longer have this money tied up in this 2 wonderful PCPs.

I only shot JSB MK II and EunJin 43gr out of this 2 and never, ever had a single issue.

I will have to revert to the old Yellow system in a way and maintain a chronological order with the responses and the sale of the guns.

I have no electronic payments so it's either a USPS money order, a bank cashier check or if you prefer and feel more secure a personal check.

There's still all the spare parts for the guns, manuals, cases.

1st up is the Shorty, this is a custom built to my specs that Kelly did for me so it's a one of a kind and if you look at pictures of other Shorties you will see immediately the difference.

You can either have the re-shaped and truckbed liner sprayed grip or the original grip for this gun,.....but I can tell you the re-shaped grip is significantly more comfortable.........course depends what grip get claimed on the first sale then the other one will have the one left.

I'll take 1.650 bucks shipped for this beauty

The Mini-Carbine is already set up with the Buck-Rail kit and a 34 mm clamp.

Again it can come with the original grip or my re-shaped one,.....course all depends who claims what first then the second sale will take the one left.

I take 1.350 bucks shipped ..........no scope but if want we can talk about it.

Thanks

********Also I have a bunch of EunJin tins and the jig to get them ready for Huben that I can and will sell, you can see the jig on this thread

FX  Anyone have a tune for .22 JSB MRD in a Panthera with 500mm barrel?

Hi Greg,

As far as the MRDs, my friend Joe shot a 220 in Sportsman benchrest at NAC last year shooting MRDs at 970fps from his FX Impact. Joe finished third in Sportsman benchrest at NAC this year.

Mark, who won Sportsman 100 Benchrest this year with his Thomas rifle told me he was shooting the MRDs at 965fps.

I’ve only tried MRDs once at 100 and results were average at best shooting them at 900-915 fps. The results were excellent at 75 and 80 yards shooting the MRDs at 900-915 fps. So, it seems that something happens in the last 20-25 yards to throw them off if shooting below 965-970 fps.

ED,
Good info. I will have to have a conversation with you about your experiences with the 100yd BR at NAC :giggle: . I tried ViperJoe's tune and I can get them to fly at those speeds. I need to tweak the tune a bit to close the ES and find the best groupings, but it was giving pretty good results (MOA groups for 4 of 5 shots) for 50 yds.
Cheers,
Greg

Yong Heng oil question!?!?!

Perhaps a place that services fire extinguishers or fireman’s bottles would have a lead on HP compressor oil more locally to you?
I have asked couple places (in firestation also diving shop), they buying these oils exactly the x gallon sizes what they need for their own oil change, cannot help. A alkin oil for example is $185 CAD for a gallon, but that volume would be a lifetime supply for myself alone, and I forgot to mention the ordering-shipping cost.

PCP Rifle  NLA Panthera .25/.30

I have a panthera I’m thinking about letting go. It is a .25 cal, 700mm slug liner, shooting nsa 55.5gr slugs great, had it up to 128 fpe. Has a 580cc front bottle, buttstock adaptor, magpul PRs light buttstock. Does not have a shroud because it started out as a 600mm .22 and the shroud was too short for the 700mm, no longer have those parts. Had DonnyFL make me an adaptor to screw onto the end of the plenum where the shroud use to mount. It shoots 1/2 inch or less groups at 100 yards with the nsa 55.5gr slugs. Will also come with a 500mm .30 cal barrel kit with mag and probe. Also comes with the factory buttstock and forward rail but no 300cc bottle. Also have a few boxes of the nsa 55.5gr slugs too. Does have some nicks and scratches from use. $1900 shipped to the lower 48.

Other  Is 15.89 jsb .22 pellet at 930-940 fps enough for Raccoon headshot

I had one getting into my garbage regularly, caught him one night sitting up on his haunches chewing on some chicken bones. 10 pumps with my 1377 from about 15ft put a stop to that nonsense. middle of the chest, he did make it to the Neighbor's yard:whistle:

Hatsan  Vortex v2 compression force

Been a few years since I bought a new Hatsan so honestly no clue other than at some point, they removed the bleed screws that used to be on the back end of their better Vortex rifles.
If you aren't a member of the GTA airgun forum, you might consider joining. They have a Gate just for the Turkish rifles and someone over there might have an answer to your question. You could also take a shot and email Hatsan Arms in Turkey and see what kind of answer the people at the actual factory give you.

Yong Heng cooling mod question

look up counter flow chillers in Home brew beer .

I got two! Copper coil, 50' long inside a potable rated garden hose and a 10' stainless steel commercial coil.

I'm drinking a home brew right now!

The secret of copper is the RATE of heat transfer. You can have a 50' coil of plastic in ice and a 50' coil of copper in ice and the plastic will start well but once you pull a constant stream, the copper will keep the temp drop and the plastic will loose transfer more and more as tune goes on.

We do this in home brewing, it's called a picnic cooler.
