I have had both, and actually traded a TX200HC for a 410SL I still have. I agree with the above. Neither gun is loud, the 410 may seem quieter, but all that "mechanical noise" from the TX is right by your head when you fire it. I bet if you listened to both from 100ft away there would be little difference. Unless you need "mousefart" quiet, either would be fine.An apples to oranges situation.
I expect that you know that you are comparing a PCP (S410) to a springer (TX200) and presume that you are aware that the PCP requires a high pressure air source.
Most of the sound from a springer comes from the mechanical movement of the internal parts. It pretty well is what it is and can't be dampened. With the PCP adding a moderator can really make them quiet so it could be adjusted to suit.
I have the S510 and the TX200, PCP and springer, and use them for different applications. Don't find either of them to be particularly loud.
I suggest that your other shooting needs/requirements should be considered first.
Cheers!
I know what you're saying buddy mine is brand new and at first with a 1.77 cal pellet I was getting in the high 600sHi guys.
Bought a new Artemis p15 .22 2 month ago.
Fps was 850 steady on 30 shots jsb 18.13. From 230 to 130 bar.
Did around 1500 pellets so far.
2 days ago my POI dropped so I checked the chrono and fps was 790/ 800.
The Hammer spring reg is turned clockwise to the maximum from factory ,can't turn further.
I read many post that some guys got 875/900 fps on p15 out of the box.
Any help finding the problem is appreciated.
Thank you
Bring the scope to see if it fits the mount they have. That's a big scope.Hi Ron, I’m in BC, Canada. I have to buy local, but AGS sells Sportsmatch here in Canada. I only buy Sportsmatch myself but wondered if there was a particular model you used. I’ll assume AGS can advise what is best. It is to mount a Hawke 6-24x50 compact 30mm scope.
Older RAW guns often need 160 bars to shoot .22 redesigned 25 grain pellets between 940 and 950.I was having issues with my RAW HM1000X. 22. My reg.was at 149BAR after my regulator was taken apart to replace the O rings and couldn't turn the hammer spring in enough to get 940fps. Called a builder/tuner and was told to turn my reg. up to 160 BAR, 149BAR was to low. It's shooting great once again.
Awesome that's great to hear! The firing pin malfunction was my only problem with my first gamo arrow, I was hoping they'd fix the issue in the gamo arrow classic hopefully they reinforced itI have had zero problems and it is still working flawless.
i also installed the rifled barrel it’s pretty coolI just recently got one of these and immediately did the barrel swap to the rifled barrel … so now it fires pellets instead of BBs. I haven’t tested it against bottles or wood yet, but that’s next.
