GX CS4

I've only gotten moisture from mine so far. No grease or dark stuff that I've seen yet. I haven't taken mine apart cause its just got a little over 2 hours on it. I do have a habit of putting a paper towel down below the drain line so I can see if there is anything coming out other than moisture when I bleed the system.
I've got an inline filter between the compressor and the fill hose end. I check it after every use and it has not had any moisture make it down the hose to that filter yet. I'm pleased with it so far. I did add an external digital temp sensor to the pump head next to the factory sensor. I like to be able to "KNOW" how hot it is when its running. Also added LED lights to the water tank so I can see the pump working without having to remove the tank cap while it's pumping. I also 3D printed a bracket to fit over the pressure gauge and it has a LED in it pointing down to light up the gauge housing so I can see it better. And finally I put on an hour meter to keep track of run time.
Thx
Ray

Perhaps you "haven't yet", but you will see the dark grease coming out. It has to, as the air line is the ONLY place it can go.

I took mine apart the day I got it. The engineer in me wanted to see "what makes this tick?". And I shared it so others wouldn't have to do the same.

Other  Quite backyard pcp rifles

Europe is not America and the realities of the two markets are vastly different. Especially west of the Mississippi. Fly over country, 12 fpe, is that a joke!

There is no rifle that is silent enough to support shooting air rifles where air rifles are illegal. Even at an anemic 12 fpe. The reality here is to move to outside the city limits or away from whatever is restricting your shooting activities. Which in North America is much easier to do than in Europe. Noise is not the only issue, bad things happen and a pellet can stray off to some place it does not belong, even at 12 fpe. If the complaining neighbor is upset by a little noise, imagine what a pellet will do to their karma if it is found stuck in the bumper of their Telsa.

Advice re Airarms pcp ultimate explorer

Here is an 11 part series that was done on the Air Arms S510 (regulated) Ultimate Sporter in .22 caliber. The link is to part 11. Scroll down a little and click on Part 1-Part 10 in order to read them in proper sequence:

FX  Maverick 30 Transformation

Cheek Riser. И Butt Pad.

Air Venturi  Avenge X tuning High and low power

yes I have been working the same thing.. was thinking about the 22 jsb jumbo monster pellets, or if there's a heavier slug for long distance shooting and then low transfer port for like just cheap crossman premier hollow point 14 grain pellets for 50 yards..
please let me know how it goes
