Will this breathing tank be good enough to fill pcp air rifle

Just get an appropriate tank. I know SCBA tanks are expensive but what are your life and limbs worth?
I cringe every time I see posts about using tanks made for other applications. HPA air is dangerous stuff when proper vessels, fittings and procedures are not used.

Other  Aussie Airgun

I think a 600 or 700 barrel length is good as you will probably have longer range shots "down under" then a lot of us in the states for your pests. I do have a couple of guns that I take when pesting to meet the need. But if you are to start out with one and do this for a living you definitely want accuracy and reliability at the top of your want list! Next, look for "adjustability" so you can go into areas that are more confined that need lower powered shots to not harm the backstop - barn, roof, etc. Also, you may want a lightly choked barrel that will let you shoot both pellets and slugs as needed (or a gun that lets you swap out barrels as needed so now you have one gun and more options according to the job). As a rule you will find that most shoot pellets under 100m and then move to slugs for accuracy and stopping power. Good luck and the pesting is a lot of fun! I wish I could get paid for it! Truth be known, I'd pay to get rid of them but I don't tell the farmers!

Diana  Info on diana 45 T01 "20th anniversary special model"

Hector couldn't turn up any info or leads unfortunately other then agreeing with me that the rifles were probably limited in production to 1,000 examples. The diana factory has not even contacted me back (a little upset by that) but hopefully they will. SOMEONE had to have bought one of these new back in '99.....anyone remember the sales potch on how many were going to be made? I'd like to clear this up for the future, when another one pops up?and the same questions are being asked again.

Whats the longest shot youve ever taken and with which airgun

What's the furthest shot you ever hit on target. Could be a target or a animal. I only use sub 12ftlb air rifles so don't see the true power and potential of these air rifles and air guns. Maybe the uk guys using FAC air rifles and USA guys using your unlimited power & anyone else can tell me what the longest shots you've ever taken and your favourite rifles to use. Springer or pcp or co2.
I hope you mean every day type shots , something routinely done ,not setting up and shooting a basically one time endeavor , those are just for fun with not any meaningful conclusion .

Taipan Veteran Gen 2 Question

As I recall, the lever that operates the anti-double load mechanism is actuated directly off the cocking arm. With the linkages required to do that with the forward cocking lever, it is probably a design nightmare and not considered worth the time and money to attempt. I'm sure that is oversimplified, but I think it is a direct trade off in the forward cocking design. Be careful what you wish for. One thing I find interesting, is the marketing hype over the free floating barrel in the Gen 2. If ever there was an air rifle that did not need a free floating barrel, it's the Veteran. I think the Gen 1 Veteran is a marvelous design, and one that I won't be trading.
I agree with this. The last time I've zeroed my Veteran Long was 3 years ago... Granted, the rifle is a standby backyard varmint rifle and doesn't get shot much, but still. Also, a few weeks ago, I disassembled the gun to attempt to replace the barrel with the 700mm barrel. It turned out that the 700mm barrels sold on Talon Tunes for the Veteran 1 are actually for the Veteran 2 so I had to put the original barrel back into place because the barrel for the Veteran 2 does not have a 1/2" UNF thread at the muzzle. After re-assembly, I didn't even have to re-zero my rifle as it was still spot on at my distances of within 40 meters.

Non lead pellets

Howdy,
New to the site.
I’m shooting GTO Predator 22cal (nonlead) to feed my falcons.
Does anyone have experience with or know of anything new or better?
Also, for those of you who shoot nonlead, what’s been your best FPS, and the fastest speed you’ve been able to use and still be able to shoot respectable groups.
My best to you
Keith
Curious if you experimented to have a sense of how fast you could push the GTOS and still get excellent accuracy?

Thanks in advance for any insight.
