Keep us posted!I appreciate you and all the others chiming in.
So based on some feedback here, I decided to play with it some more and got some interesting results. I adjusted the reg down to around 145 bar, first shot hit 905 with 22 grain pellets, then it steadily decreased until it settled to 870s no matter what I did with the hs. Took back apart, set reg at 160 bar first shot 911, then steadily decreased and settled in the 890s.
The interesting part, is that after the re air up the first shot every time is a very loud sharp air crack, almost coming from the action area, then every shot after sounds good. Except it does feel like there is a slight amount of air on every shot coming from action/valve area. There is only one o ring around the outside of the valve to seal the transfer port, nothing on the hammer side of the valve. Im almost thinking there is an alignment issue with the valve/transfer port but I don't know how to check that. Im thinking a call to UA tomorrow is in order.
I"ve got some of the old ones laying around somewhere. I ran a test of sizing, didn't see any appreciable difference. I haven't been in the trade for ..... 21 years. Before they came up with the slip-clutch adjustment on the barrel of the mics, 10 people taking readings with the same mics would come up with 10 different results. That was a major improvement along with the tenths vernier. Sill more accuracy than is needed for pellets and slugs, IMO. For real accuracy, I believe they have push-through sizing dies similar to the ones used for powder burner bullets.
Great ideas! Thanks for sharing.Nice. I run the same table. I did skateboard grip tape from Amazon on the top. Then I reinforced the bottom with aluminum angles, riveted on. I added a brace between the front legs. Then what makes the most difference is i hang sand bags from the leg brackets of the table with to help weight it down.

Road signs don’t bother me too much. It gives us a bad image, but they can be easily replaced. When I see a mature Douglas fir that’s dead because someone thought it would be a convenient way to stop bullets though it just pisses me off. It probably took 70 years for that tree to grow and it likely won’t even be used for firewood.I'm with you on that one bud, also road signs!
i did this just so i can go out at night with a high powered scope to look at weird lights in the sky. easier to grab and spot with than a telescope on a tripodYou know what a lot of folks do?
They mount a spotting scope to a spare rifle stock.
In case you don’t want to use the scope off of a bench.
